He looks at you both, opens his mouth probably to give some sarcastic retort, and then closes it again and just nods.
Fa'ame returns, cutting infront of the returning Harengons when they are a couple of minutes out so you can be prepared for their arrival. Upon getting here, and seeing Agdon tied up, they offer no resistance and will give the gourd over as soon as you ask.
Taking the gourd, Moneo looks it over before handing it to Fa'ame and thanking the hares. He then asks, stretching his legs a bit, "Ok. You all be good. Now... which way is Downfall?"
There is a stopper on the top. It pops open when you give it a little tug, and you don't see anything, but at the same time you do feel almost like a breeze coming out from the gourd. None of you gave a memory to it so you don't know if it works, until you suddenly hear one of the harengons shout "Hey Jebbek, do you remember when...." before she punches him hard, knocking him out cold. "Anyone else want to mention that incident that we agreed to all forget? No, I thought not,"
Barreknar leans towards Agdon, who he still keeps a tight grip on, "What's that all about?" Barreknar agreed the gourds memories needed to be let go, the gourd itself should be next. As much as some memories coukd be forgotten, but no one should hold that power to do so without some sort of balance. Plus they had stolen more then just memories and still felt that someone needed to atone for that behavior. For justice and to show the others that there are consequences to thier actions, good and bad.
"Jebbek did something embarrassing, and gave those who witnessed it a share of her loot in exchange for giving the memory up. I guess now they have it back but still have the loot, they felt they could embarrass her further."
Fa'ame nods at Barreknar's suggestion and prepares to destroy the gourd.... but then stops.
"One thing though... What if this could come in handy?"She asks Barreknar, turning her head toward him. "Just temporarily of course... If we're discovered sneaking in some place we don't belong... Or one of us needs to store away a secret to ensure it won't be extracted by someone with the ability to read minds... Honestly, I can imagine so many useful applications."

Or one of us needs to store away a secret to ensure it won't be extracted by someone with the ability to read minds... Honestly, I can imagine so many useful applications."
Eliaanore skips 'round, stopping to pose her thoughts. "Y'know, she's got a point. What's better for a secret than to make it an enigma?"
Jebbek speaks up "I'm not saying that you can't take it with you, so please don't hurt me for saying this. But it won't work like that. There are two issues, firstly that memories have to be willingly given, so you can't just make someone forget you snuck in unless they choose to give up that memory. Though I guess you could force them to give it up by threats like we did. But also, it only lets Agdon and I use it. If you tried, they will just touch a gourd and feel stupid"
"Better just to crack the shell. Though that was good thinking Fa'ame, we'll just have to not get caught by anyone if we're sneaking around. Personally though, I prefer just to talk my way out of things, so even if we are in trouble, they'll think we aren't,"Moneo says with a grin.
Barreknar calls the team over and whispers, "Uuhh... so what do we do with Agdon and Jabbek? Clearly they are the most evil as they are the only two the hag let control this memory snatcher. We owe Jingle so justice and I'm afaid whoever we leave in charge will just be sidelined by one of these 2 after we leave. They got on top somehow, they probably could do it again. "
Eliaanore is quick to speak, though her answer is predictable: "I say we make use of them. They're greedy and they're arrogant, but they're just as trapped here. The look on Ag's face when we talked about stopping the hags -- he's not scared of us as he is them. Besides, we could always use more information about this place -- information they can provide."
"Ok brigands... So... Unless you want this one to try to drag you by your ears, tell her what she wants to know, and give us some assurance that we can leave you here knowing that you won't go back to harassing the local folk,"Moneo says, looking to Eli to get whatever information she wants.
((intimidation: 7 (adv from Eli helping with her constant threats? 19 ; insight 19 on if Moneo feels he can trust whatever they tell him))
"If it means you will leave us alone, we will promise to not take anything from the local folk here that isn't freely given, without the use of force on our end. I don't know if we have much useful information to give though. Don't take items you see in geysers. You will get attacked for it by the wisps. We learnt that the hard way. And when you get to Downfall, don't insult the Bullywugs. They do follow the rules of the land with outsiders, so make use of the rule of hospitability."
Moneo:
You are under the impression that he is quite scared of Eliaanore, and so will agree to pretty much any demand if it gets him away from her. And he is frightened enough that he is truthful, as he doesn't want her to carry out the threats.
Barreknar, you try and smash it, and it is a lot stronger than you would have imagined. Make a strength check (at advantage if you use a bludgeoning or heavy weapon)
If needed, Moneo will inspire Barr giving him further strength with which to smash the gourd. He then looks to the hares and says, "Thank you. That is helpful information indeed. This place is not what we had anticipated finding when we stepped through the portal. Come Eli, let's leave these good fellas to their new life as river guides. Ah! One more thing... have you heard of a scarecrow with claw hands? What was his name again? clapper chap? uh... scaredy cut? Ah... anyway... strange guy who is said to be a guide to this place. Any idea where we can find him?"He's then more or less ready to head towards Downfall once the others are as well.
The inspiration was not required. The gourd crushes under Barr's natural strength. Moneo you notice Agdon look a bit sheepish at that question. "Yes we have met it. It had a lovely stag skull head. I believe you will find them in Downfall." he drops to an embarrassed whisper "Though the skull might not be with it"
((Did Moneo, or anyone else, happen to have noticed a stag skull in the pile of stuff we were rooting through earlier, or around the base of the hare gang?))

While Moneo gets directions, Fa'ame will study the gourd, seeing how they might use it to either retrieve the memories within...

The Eladrin turns, staring.
"So you're saying we have to take you with us, too," she says, a little too enthusiastically.
