"What should we say of The Lady? We pretty much have to either act like Citrine is the first civilization we have found or we have to explain how we know of The Everqueen and the Bounders...And then how we got here, do we tell that truth? Ohhh lord, we have to get our story straight!"
Dril is obviously getting anxious but there is clearly a fair bit of excitement in his tone. He feels like a new man and is ready to tackle today's challenges.
"Got any idea how to use that plant as a map?" Referring to The Lady's parting gift.
As you discuss your plans and begin heading dawnward, the happy sounds of Amaranth become muffled by the foliage. You have a vague direction of where you're headed, but at Dril's question, you all remember the bud which is supposed to lead you right to Citrine City.

Greg: As you hold the device in your hand and focus on Citrine City the petals begin to flutter open, fanning out to reveal a beautiful bloom. Several stamen unfurl from the center, and begin to drift in a nonexistent wind, pointing away from you and to the right. A bit confused, you turn the flower, but the pollen covered tendrils maintain their direction, seeming to point to where you need to go.

"I would very much like to check it out!" Dril cups his little hands as he receives the strange flower, observing whether or not its movement changes when held by a different person.
Dril: The flower is quite fragrant, similar to rose but muskier. The stamen to move as the flower is handed, continuing to adjust itself, always pointing in the same direction.
Following this magical blossom, you all spend the next few hours hiking through the woods, which only get more colorful and vibrant as as you go on, shifting from bluish hues to vibrant greens and yellows. The sky as well becomes more blue, as the billowing peach clouds transform into small wisps and puffs of white. The sun beams gold, and the rays of it warm your skin. Quite suddenly, the woods ahead of you thin, and the ground falls into a sweeping cascade of grass and wildflowers. A vast meadow spreads out in front of you, lined by towering cliffs on each side, like a wide valley carved from flat ground. In the center lies a small city, glittering with towers sculpted from gold and amber crystal. Based on when you woke up, it feels like it should be mid afternoon now, but the sun is high in the blue sky, directly above Citrine City.

drUsually when the Gnome's mouth is open, he is talking. But the entire journey Dril's jaw has hanging due to the beauty and peculiarity of this plane. It reminds him of his own forrest which he missed dearly. He loved all the little critters that abounded based on season. He looked around for signs of life in this strange land.
At the sight of the city, Nean is standing still for a second, trying to process all of the impressions. He then tips his new hat and turns around to Void or rather Franz in this moment. "Now that is a scenery we can work with." Nean then pushes back the brink of his cloak. "I shall verry much enjoy such refreshment, dear Franz." He stood with his arms on his hips, trying hard to hold back a chuckle.
Liafial: As you begin to step out into the golden meadow, you look around to your friends, trying to gauge how they're feeling. Your eyes scan across their faces, but your gaze quickly jumps back to the destination in front of you. Catching your eye is what appears to be a group of mounted humanoids breaking over one of the rolling hills. Their steeds gallop at a breakneck pace, heading straight towards your group. The rest of the party notices your stare and turn to also see the approaching figures.
Dril takes a quick chug of water from his skins and clears his throat, "Let's play this one smooth boys. No mention of the Lady. We popped up here and set off in this direction until just now. Sound good? Now's the time to iron out the details."

"I guess that settles things. Let's be on our way!" Dril is enthusiastic and eager to get started, a sharp contrast to his attitude in the mine.
Amazed, Dril leans in and attempts to lightly smell the flower.

As Greg hands the compass to Dril, he transforms into Franz.
Franz looks down at his bare feet with a frown.
"This is unacceptable."
Franz gets out his footwear and puts them back on, using Prestidigitation to clean each foot, as he does so.
Turning to Dril, Franz comments,
"It is a wonderful device. It seems to point to Citrine city when you think about the city."

Franz looks out over the fields and the city itself.
"This world has some truly beautiful sights."
Turning to the others he asks,
"Well, are we going straight in, or do we want to prepare at all, before we get to the city?"
"As was offered before, I can use magic to freshen anyone up, if they want."
Franz then proceeds to uses Prestidigitation a few times over himself, to clean away the grime of travel, that have accumulated about his person.

Looking at the others Franz raises his eyebrows, silently asking if anyone else wants a refresh.
