"Goodness! Wrong spell?! Wrong intensity? Ah! " Vesna squeals quietly as she accidentally dries the shrub a tad bit too much. Perhaps she should try to make herself useful in another way? Or what was the other good spell she can use...
She gestures again, her brows furrowed as she tries to remember the correct incantation... Just as a flash of light streaks out of her outstretched arm, she remembers it is not quite correct and changes position slightly, the light aiming at the pot instead...

Aeran Dormaris - L2 Paladin on his way to Phandelver
Kitaer sees just one plant remaining and finds himself tired of this game. He's fighting plants? Plants?? "What kind of pathetic, half-assed company is so careless in their housekeeping as to allow such things?" he asks as he walks over to the remaining plant. "If they cannot handle their own waiting room how can they handle anything else?"
Upon getting to the remaining plant the minotaur adjusts his grip on his battleaxe and punches it downwards towards the pot, trying to bludgeon and smash more than cut and chop...
OOC: So all of you did see that freezing the water in the pot managed to cause one of the previous pots to break, and you still have a bucket of endless ice and pitcher of endless water.
Nexyax swings hard with her rapier but it gets tangled up in the branches as well as the small shrub lashes out wildly!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(It might not have helped but Vesna, Kitear and Nesyax are still all under the effect of the Bless spell cast by Daryos :-)
Starting to wonder if the last pot is impervious to their attacks, the young white-haired noble decides to change tactics and moves to grab both the pitcher and bucket, then moving right next to the last pot to pour both water and ice over it, hoping to end the test now.
Dex save to avoid slipping on ice: 9 Favoured by the Gods feature if needed to succeed: 7
Daryos takes the pitcher of water and bucket of ice before rushing towards the remaining plant. Much of the ice on the ground was removed by stasyn and Daryos easily avoids any that still remains. After arriving in front of the plant, he pours both containers into the pot, causing the pot to overflow with icy water. As soon as the water hits the plant, it begins to calm down and sprout new growth as you had all seen happen before. Before the plant can release any toxic pollen however, the ice causes the water in the pot to freeze solid. Within seconds of the liquid in the pot freezing, a loud "CRACK" can be heart as the expanding ice shatters the pot, causing the plant and dirt to spill out on to the floor.
As the last of the plants are defeated, you are all left in a now filthy waiting room. the marble floors are covered with broken pot shards, mud, glass, and ice. A few scorch marks and crossbow bolts line the once-prestine walls.
The sound of smooth jazz continues to fill the air for a moment before it abruptly stops. a loud click can be heard as the single wooden door in the room unlocks and swings open. As the door opens the room is filled with bright light. The portrait or the Wizard wearing purple robes on the wall looks to each of you and says "Omin will see you now, please proceed into the next room. Thank You." The portrait then returns to normal, seemingly no longer enchanted.
As you proceed into the next room, the lights radiating from the doorway is almost painful, prompting you to squint or shield your eyes. When you step over the threshold, the bright light fades and you find yourselves in a large ornate office. The walls are lined with shelves containing hundreds of books and scrolls that extend upwards as least 30 ft. The back wall holds a large fireplace with a massive picture of Omin Dran below a golden Acquisitions Incoporated logo that spans up the wall and nearly touches the ceiling.
In the center of the room stands a beautifully crafted wooden desk with golden inlays and a small golden AI logo on the front. The top of the desk is covered with documents that appear scattered and unorganized. Behind the desk sits a half-elf cleric of Tymora, wearing plate armor that seems to glimmer in the light of the fireplace behind him.
"Come in! Welcome to Acquisitions Incorporated" Omin says as he stands up to greet the the party. "I apologize for the shrubbery in the waiting room... you know how hard it is to find a good gardener's Waterdeep... plus I couldn't imagine sending a group of entrepreneurs like yourselves off to Etharis if you couldn't handle a fee potted plants..." Omin would give a smile before holding up a gauntleted finger and bending down to produce a small chest that he places in the center of his desk. "So, What kind if questions do you have for me? We move at the speed of business here at Aquisitions Incorporated... and I was hoping to have you all in Etharis within the next hour or so if you are ready." He says as he begins to pull various items out of his chest and sits them around his desk, further scattering and covering the documents.
Kitaer charges forward and hooks the desk with his horns, flipping it up and over so that he can confront this Omin...
Kitaer pulls his GreatAxe and immediately starts going to town on the office and furniture, making kindling of everything...
Kitaer grabs the cleric by the armor and peels them like a banana, growling and huffing the whole time...
Kitaer grabs on of the bookcases and topples it over onto the head of the Half-Elf...
Of course, Kitaer does all of this, and more, but only in his imagination and he steps forward with a scowl. He mutters something harsh but unintelligible under his breath as this Omin "apologized" for the shrubbery but mostly keeps his mouth shut since he seriously wants this free trip to a fawaway island where the goblins won't be likely to follow. Still, it didn't stop his mind from going to some dark and violent places after that rather rude welcome...
But questions? Kitaer only has one question. "When do we leave?"
"Well, he definitely said within the hour," the blue-haired girl says to Kitaer with a smile, oblivious to any other inner dialog he may be having. She then turns to Omin, "That does seem really fast though, especially if we are going to be in Etharis in that time." There's a brief pause before she adds, "Etharis is the exotic, far off location? Oh, and we should ask about pay. How does that work? Hmm, and how are we traveling exactly? Will there be any facilities for us when we get there?"
Suddenly, she realizes that both she and the others are talking as though they have the job. A bit sheepishly she says, "Wait. We have the jobs? You're offering us the positions? This isn't just an interview? Weren't you supposed to ask us questions?"
After the explosion of words, the girl finally remains silent long enough someone else might get in a word.
Vesna, still quite shaken from the battle of the shrubs, just follows after the rest of the group quietly, hoping that they won't get reprimanded for the mess left in the waiting room. If she had the time, she would have tried to clean it up a bit. At least to put the broken pieces of the flower pots together... Or to try and mop the marble floor...
Her eyes go wide as she looks around Omin's office. This place looks expensive, nothing like her former humble abode in the temple. She then finally notices the person behind the large desk. Her cheeks go red again as she realises that must be another cleric. Unlike her, this one is wearing full plate armour, which suddenly reminds her of her earlier panicked thoughts... and she looks down, embarrassed anew. The news of the impending departure stresses her out and she keeps silent for now, letting the minotaur and the blue-haired woman ask the questions for now.

Aeran Dormaris - L2 Paladin on his way to Phandelver
As the last pot cracks before his eyes the young white-haired noble draws a sigh of relief, looking around at the others in what he only can assume is the team he will be working with. A raging minotaur, then a verdan and a two women, all three wielding magic like himself. While there certainly was room for improvement with their cooperative skills, Daryos already saw great potential in the group.
As the previously magically locked door opens, the young noble quickly uses his magic to clean himself up from the dirt, making his appearance quite impeccable again before entering the opulent office of Omin Dran, standing before the Tymoran cleric with the others in his team, bowing politely to their new employer. He listens and considers what Omin Dran has just told them as the minotaur and the blue-haired woman talks. It was good to have confirmation on what he had already assumed but the hour of travelling time had surprised him. It could only mean that A.I. had managed to set up a teleportation circle to bring their employees to Etharis.
He was glad that he came prepared but glanced over at the auburn-haired woman beside him who didn't seem to have brought any gear. "Apologies Mr. Dran, while we of course are eager to leave for Etharis I believe all of us might not have anticipated immediate departure." He explains to the Tymoran cleric with a polite smile. "I'm sure we will be ready to leave soon though?" He adds, smiling politely over at the woman with the long, wavy auburn hair. Otherwise he has nothing to add to the questions of the blue-haired woman for now, although he feels eager to get to know the team beyond what could be gleaned from the chaotic battle that took just took place in the adjacent room.
