Kitear pulls out the key and slides it into the lock. The key turns effortlessly and with a small click, the door is unlocked. Pushing the door open, the dark room is illuminated only by the light shining through the open door. In front of you there is a small mini bar that appears to have been left undisturbed for quite some time. There is a very thin layer of dust settled across the smooth wooden surface of the bar and upon the shelves behind it. There are multiple bottles of wine and ale behind the bar that appear to be of varying quality. To the left is a very large heart shaped bed that could easily fit three fully grown adults. The bed is covered with smooth crimson colored silken sheets and plump downy pillows. There are no signs of rodent infestation anywhere in this room, and other then the thin layer of dust and the smell of stale air, it otherwise seems fairly preserved. To the right there is a small dining table covered with a fine white tablecloth. In the center of the table there is a silver candelabra with five white unburned candles affixed to it. There are two fine dining chairs tucked into the table that feature red crushed velvet cushions. There is also a large hand engraved wooded wardrobe along the wall. Inside there are a couple of silken robes hanging inside and plenty of empty space for clothes or other items that a visitor may want to store.

Daryos seems very pleased as he moves about the room and inspects the fineries in it. "I admit I didn't expect to find such a luxurious bed in a place like this but we should of course not settle for anything less than the best. This bed seems big enough even for you?" He says, glancing over at Kitaer, before taking a closer look at things in the room, starting with the mini bar of course.
“Maybe we take the booze but… leave everything else?” Kitaer suggests. “We got plenty from this place.., I’m thinking maybe the sick need it more than us. I’ve a bedroll… let’s clear this place and then let the sick have some shelter?”
At the Minotaur's suggestion, Daryos stops and looks at him, and then he smiles. "You are right Kitaer. Let us still have a look around here, but we can leave this bed and anything else we think will be helpful to any of the sick coming here for shelter."He agrees with a nod before continuing his search.
As Daryos inspects the bar, he finds it to be fairly simple but well made. He doesn't find any hidden compartments or anything like that this time as he moves around the room. He is fairly certain that if he collected the various bottles of wine and spirits that he could probably get close to 50gp from someone willing to buy them. The sheets and pillows are very well made along with the robes hanging in the wardrobe. You could easily strip the bed of those things and leave the matress and frame it you wanted. The chairs and dining table are also in great shape. The single most expensive item in the room is probably the silver candelabra in the center of the table. Looking closer it appears to be a solid silver weasel with its hands above its head holding a silver platter with multiple silver mugs on top. The candles are then seated in the mugs on top of the platter. You think that the candelabra alone is probably worth 30gp.
OOC: You guy can take or leave anything you want. I'm just describing the room. this is your world to interact with as you please!
Daryos would collect the wine and spirits, handing Kitaer the silverware, then ready to proceed with the sweep of the floor. "I suppose we don't necessarily need more things from this place but maybe we should clear the rooms of threats to any of the sick seeking refuge here?" He says, motioning for the Minotaur to continue when he is ready.
Making your way through the rest of the 2nd floor, you see a few more rooms where the doors are unlocked and left swinging open. Any of the rooms where the doors have been left open appear to be fairly picked over and the beds seem to have been torn up by rats or other rodents. You occasionally come across another corpse on a bed laying in these opened rooms. Some of the rooms have smaller twin sized beds while other rooms have larger queen sized beds inside. You make your way around and three of the rooms to be locked. Kitaer produces the keys as needed and you can easily unlock them. Inside the locked rooms 3,4,and 5 you find fairly clean but dusty beds and empty shelves inside.
Kitaer is more than happy to take the alcohol or the silver candelabra. It's the taking of things the sick and dying may need that he's growing to find distasteful. The dying do not need liquor and coin but a soft bed and a good pillow could surely help ease their suffering.
Tightening the cloth he has covering his mouth and nostrils, Kitaer tasks himself with moving all the bodies. If one of the rooms has a window opening onto a dark alley then out the window they are all thrown, otherwise the Minotaur piles them all in the most run down room that doesn't really offer protection from the elements anyway. He's thinking perhaps other sick people can come in and at least have a room to die in... He realizes that this could lead to them fighting one another over the best room or such but there is only so much he can do. And he can at least clear the bodies from the rooms even if he can't police them going forward.
"We've found over 500 gold here already," Kitaer advises Daryos. "If you or the others need proper beds to sleep then perhaps we should buy them instead?" But Kitaer won't further argue the matter, the Decisioneer gets to make that call. If he is told to lug mattresses away then he will.
Vesna isn't particularly interested in the wine and other expensive stuff, but she can't help but get excited at the prospect of having a big fluffy pillow, and perhaps a mattress. "I don't feel the need to drag a whole bed back, but a mattress would be nice," she says with a small smile. Then she realises she doesn't know where to put the mattress, so a bit ashen-faced turn to look at Nesyax. "Would you be fine sharing one of the bedrooms perhaps for now? Just temporarily. It's ok if you don't want to, but maybe it will be fuuun?" she panics and start blabbering.

Stasyn looks at the finery and is amazed no one has broken into the room before. "I agree we should take what we can carry and if anyone wants another bed, they can lug it back."
Stasyn will take the sheets and robes and stuff them into his pack.
Nesyax gives Vesna a strange look. "Said we ought to share a room to start. So yea, think for the moment that's a good idea." And she looks at the others. "It'll take some work, but I think we ought to bring at least enough beds over so that there's one for each of us. Why spend on them - there are plenty of beds here." Of course, she is overlooking the fact that a great number are rat infested and rather degraded. But it makes sense in her mind.
Looking between the members of the team, Daryos realizes there is a slight disagreement over what to take for themselves and what to leave for those in need. "Alright, we will do like this..."He says, looking around at the others, soon about to find out what his postion as Decisioner is worth. "...I hear you all and we will leave most of what the sick that come here can reasonably need, I and Kitaer will refrain from taking beds and mattresses, using our bedrolls for now, but we will bring along one pillow and one mattress for Ms. March to use as she share bedroom with Ms. Sanaldi. We will try to see to it that the Wet Weasel can be a refuge for the sick and help them how we reasonably can. Now pick what you want Ms. March and we will leave his place for today."He says with a firm voice, otherwise ready to head to their base and regroup.
"Yes, yes, of course" Vesna goes back to slight panic mode as she gets ready to go back to the temple with a mattress and pillow and visibly relieved that all arrangements have been made.

"Good that you will be taking care of cleaning the bedsheets Stasyn, can't be to careful with this plague now. We're not bringing any beds though, right now at least, but when we find the time we can go back and make repairs." Daryos says to the Verdan, then as everyone has what they need he motions for Kitaer to lead the team back to their base.

As you all prepare to make your way back out into the streets, you notice the sun hanging very low in the sky. The setting sun colors the road and surrounding buildings in deep red and orange light. The few new arrivals have managed to disappear from sight and the already fairly deserted streets appear to be completely empty at this point. The few windows with lights inside have all seemingly been snuffed out or hidden to give the appearance that no one is home. The streets and roads have gone unnaturally quiet as you make your way back to the HQ.
Hank and Dean continue to stand guard out front as you make your way to the heavy wooden doors of the old temple. When you arrive, he quickly opens the door and hurriedly ushers you all in. "What took you all so long? You're cutting it a bit close don't you think?" He asks in a somewhat frustrated and concerned tone. "Did you find anything worthwhile out there? Any useful information on the bone collector?"he asks while looking towards Vesna, the parties loremonger... or other useful information or documents that might help our franchise?" he adds as he turns towards Stasyn, the documancer. "I know my map wasn't very well done, perhaps Nesyax can make a better one as you continue explore the quarantine zone..." He continues while moving to help unload the latest loot from the party.
The temple is looking much cleaner than when you all first arrived, and he been working to organize the crates and supplies according to the parties wishes.
Exiting the Wet Weasel Kitaer is looking for some of the newly displaces diseased ridden watchers who seemed to have such interest in the group earlier. (Perception, if needed: 14) If he is able to spot any he tries to get their attention without getting too close to them. "This building is dilapidated but much of it is still livable. Still some good rooms with locks on the doors. Here's the keys..." Kitaer calls out as he holds up and then drops the keys. "Do what you can to make yourself as comfortable as possible but share the keys out to others in your situation. If we find anything that may help you all we'll come back with it but I'm afraid I can't make more promises than the 'if.'" Kitaer then nods his heads at the others to signal they should keep going so the sick could grab the keys and find some shelter...
"Some grabbed bedding for personal use," Kitaer reports to the majordomo, "Other than that just this silver candelabra thing and some wines and spirits. After the spiders in the basement we took caution in our exploring so it took some time."
"What is the concern with nightfall anyway? The streets seem deserted and thus safe enough. Is there an actual curfew in place or just the habit of the scared citizens?"
The young white-haired noble seems somewhat relieved that the team is back safely after their first mission into the quarantine zone, but he frowns slightly at the less than welcoming reception from their Major Domo. "We took the time we needed, all has gone well so far, in fact I think we have been quite successful considering it is only hours ago that we were back in Waterdeep not even employed by A.I. yet. You will have to forgive us if we haven't quite settled into our respective roles yet but I'm confident everyone will do so in time." He says with a firm tone to make clear the Major Domo should go easy on those in the team, then looking over at Vesna, Nesyax and Stasyn to see if they had anything they wanted to share with the lizardfolk.
