"Sure, if I have a bit of time tonight I can start a proper map of this area," Nesyax says. "We've not explored much area though." She looks at the others in the party, "While it sounds like we could go out at night, I think it best to stay put this first night. It will give us a chance to kind of get to know what it's really like."
Vesna's face flushes as Ren starts letting his frustrations out.
"S-sorry! We didn't mean to be so late. We went to the Weasel tavern again and it took us a while to have a p-proper look around..." she looks down at her feet like a guilty child. "W-we h-heard a bit about the Bone Collector... not much, but it sounds like he doesn't work alone, there are people... or creatures... doing his work for him... We could maybe try to meet him some other night if we gather some bones..." she finishes with a sheepish expression and shrugs in agreement with Nesyax.
"By the way, have you heard of anybody actually trying to use healing magic to cure the weeping pox?" Vesna looks up to see the lizardfolk's reaction. Back in the tavern, she felt the desire to try and send some healing energy to the girl, but what if she worsened her condition with the magic?
"C-could I use your office later, Ren? Just to try and record everything we have found out so far today in the whisper jar... or maybe I can check out the basement actually," the cleric adds after a moment of hesitation, remembering the lizardfolk's reaction earlier about potentially disturbing his office.
Ren slowly shakes his head and scratches the scales on the top of his head around the base of his orange frill. "Sorry, I just... It's not safe out there and you all had me worried to be honest."The lizardfolk replies. "I know you all just arrived today, but it's been a long couple weeks for me you know." He makes his way towards a pew and takes a seat. "You have all done great today. The coin and items you all have recovered today will go a long way towards helping to expand our franchise." Render gives you each a nod of approval
When Vesna asks about using healing magic to cure the weeping pox, Ren just give a small shrug. "I don't know, but it would probably be a good question to ask someone who has been around here longer than me. I know clerics are really rare these days... so it's possible that healing magic may work and that there just isn't enough of it to go around." Motioning to the door, he gives Vesna a nod. "yes, you may use the office if you would like, and the trap door to the basement is unlocked. You are all free to go where you please."
The lizardfolk continues to listen to any questions the group has before bringing out various packaged meals of dried meat, dried fruit, and nuts from among the supplies he has started organizing through the day.
Ren gives Nesyax a smile and a nod. "Yes, stay here and get some rest. tomorrow is a new day. Perhaps by the end of the day tomorrow we will have found taken care of the bone collector. I feel that if we can complete that task, we may be able get out of this wreched quarantine zone."
Stasyn shakes his head "No new contracts or documents were found besides the deed for the Weasel Inn. I am not sure if that is worth anything in the Quarantined Zone." He will then spend some time using prestidigitation to clean the sheets and his bed.
Vesna's expression changes from stressed to a more thoughtful one. "Do you guys think it would be wise to try healing that girl?" her amber eyes get a bit teary as she remembers their earlier encounter. "Although it might make things worse..."

"Maybe in the early morning we start making some discreet inquiries about how magics have interacted with the plague?" Kitaer replies to Vesna. "Try to gather some knowledge... Or at least rumor... And then you can decide if you want to ask her if she wants to try it. But, err... You need to consider how close you'd need get to her too. Do you want to take that risk?"
Kitaer is happy for the foods and such that Ren has prepared. It is not a feast by any means but it is filling and ready which is good enough after the day he's had.
"I'm not picky where I put my bedroll," Kitaer says as night deepens, as do yawns. "As such I think I'll bunk up near the doors as a bit of an alarm, eh?" And in suggesting such he begings to actually do it - putting his bedroll and his gear right in front of the doors as he prepares to end the day and catch some sleep.
Daryos nods in agreement with Kitaer. "More information gathering in the morning, about the plague and the Bone Collector, then we decide how we will find and deal with that sinister person."He says to the others, standing in front of the team, giving Render a grateful nod over what he brings forth for the team's evening meal. "Well done today everyone. A lot has happened today, much more than I at least expected when I woke up this morning, but we have done a good job today. The situation we find ourselves in is not what I hoped for but I'm sure we will find a way to improve on it within long." He says, giving the others a reassuring smile. "Now, is everyone set for tonight or is there anything we need to discuss?"
Later he would nod approvingly to Kitaer's suggestion about sleeping by the front doors. He himself would do what he can to find some modicum of seclusion a bit further into the main room of the base, coming to rest on his bedroll, going through the days many events and pondering how the team could improve. His last waking thoughts goes to the girl in room 10 in the Wet Weasel...
Nesyax responds to Vesna's suggestion about healing. "No harm in trying it I imagine. The biggest thing is that if it works, we really don't want word to spread. Could you imagine every infected person swarming this place? And there seems almost like there are those that don't want a cure to happen."
Other than that, she gets some food and is ready to sleep. She'll help move a bed for for Vesna if needed, and the two can share a room.
"I agree with both Kitaer and Nesyax... if you want to try to heal her, you need to find a way to do it from a distance. Otherwise you wise becoming infected yourself." Ren says to Vesna. "I think it takes powerful healing magic to truly cure the disease... that being said, I imagine even any level of healing may give her a better chance at surviving the illness. there are those that manage to survive the sickness after all."The lizardfolk adds before taking a bite of dried meat.
Vesna nods. "I don't need to get close to her... I can do it from a distance..." She remains thoughtful for a moment as she moves to get herself something to eat. "Maybe I don't say anything... her condition didn't seem very good anyway. P-perhaps... if it doesn't work, she won't feel disappointed at least..." the cleric lets the word hang in the air, unsure of what she even suggested to do herself. "But yet again, that is a problem for tomorrow..!"

Stasyn once done cleaning will partake of the offered food already misses the sumptuous meals that can be found in Waterdeep. "The choice is yours Vesna though as the others have said caution should be paramount as there seems to be no cure. Though it is good to hear not all succumb and die to the disease." He will take the time to feed his red snake and then heads to his room and lets his familiar coil next to him as he drifts to sleep.
Vesna nods, her face carrying a bit of sadness for the difficult decisions she realises they would have to make here. She finishes her dinner, then will spend some time in Ren's office recording her observations so far with the Whispering Jar, before retreating back to their room with Nesyax, making sure not to wake the bard up if she's already asleep.

Once everyone has eaten their fill and is preparing for bed, Ren would make his way towards the front door. Once there, he would unbar the front door and quickly step outside. Those inside can hear a loud whistle blow from outside the temple before the lizardfolk makes his way back inside a few seconds later. He then quickly bars the door once more and straightens his robes before making his way towards his office. Once in his office, he rolls out a bedroll and lies down to sleep.
As darkness falls outside, the interior of the temple becomes equally as dark. The stained glass windows along the sides of the building no longer provide any natural light, plunging the HQ into darkness. A couple of hooded lanterns are left lit, providing a small amount of light as the never-ending incense burns and coats the floor with rolling and twisting smoke. The sweet smell of the incense pushes away the stink of death and rot that fills the streets outside. Overnight the wind picks up and whistles through the building like a low moan. Occasionally you think you hear the sound of child-like laughter from outside, but assume it is just the wind playing tricks on you.
OOC: Let me know if you all do anything before morning.
"I admire your compassion for this girl Ms. March, but if we are to help people here in any significant way we should probably focus on finding a cure for the plague itself." The young white-haired noble says with an empathic smile.
Nesyax takes out a piece of paper and the cartography tools. She starts to make a simple map of the areas they had covered today. She starts with making a dimensionally accurate layout of the outer walls of their HQ. And tries to get all the nearby structures as well.
She didn't spend too long on it and soon gets into bed to sleep.
"What was that all about?" Kitaer asks from his bedroll near the front door when their Majordomo comes back inside straightening their robes. After hopefully getting some kind of satisfactory answer, Kitaer is ready for a new dawn...
The moment Vesna's head hits the pillow, she falls into a deep, undisturbed sleep, exhausted from not having slept the previous night and everything that's happened during the day.

Ren looks to Kitaer and pauses for a moment before answering. "I was just checking on Hank and Dean, making sure they are good to continue keeling watch." He says with a smile. "I've never been one to be afraid of the dark. A lot of my life you could say I was a monster that crept around in the dark" The lizardfolk bares his sharp teeth and allows the orange frill on the top of his head to slowly rise upwards before shaking his head and giving a small laugh. "But this place... it gives me the creeps..." Render says before excusing himself and making his way to bed.
Stasyn just heads to sleep and at times forcing himself to sleep after hearing the strange sounds from outside. He is glad to have a bed and clean sheets. As he lays down, he finally realized how wound up he is since being in the quarantined zone. Our only hope is to leave this wretched place as there is nothing here but death by disease or monster. The guards are liable to attack us than help us. We are on our own. It's alright for now. I am sure Hank and Dean will yell out if something intends us harm.
He then drifts into a fitful sleep.
