After a long day and in a strange new location followed by an uneasy night, the group awakes to the sounds of Ren preparing a simple breakfast. Sunlight shines through the stained glass windows along the walls and dances across the thin layer of smoke that coats the floor. "Alright, hope you all like more dried fruit and meat! It's pretty much the only kinds of food I have around here." He says with a smile as he pulls food from crates and places it on the makeshift table. The night was fairly uneventful and for a moment you almost forget about the grim reality of the world just outside the doors of your HQ. After eating your fill, Render wishes you all the best of luck as you depart into the streets. Before closing the door behind you, the majordomo shouts after you. "Hey! Don't forget you all need to come up with a franchise name! Make it something great would you! I don't want some silly name painted across the door of our headquarters! Be thinking about a logo too... oh... AND DON'T DIE!"
OOC: it is about 9am by the time you get to leaving the HQ in the morning. If anyone has anything they want to do before you head out for the day, we can RP those conversations as you wish.
Oblivious to what had transpired the previous night, Vesna wakes up and it takes her a moment to remember she is no longer in the temple, but in a new place, a whole new continent actually, and the thought seems to bring her cheerful mood. She spends some time praying before breakfast, and once it's time to set out, she ponders aloud, "Where shall we go today?"

"I think we can question the Butcher as they somehow have plenty of food and we may need their services if or when we run out of food." says Sasyn as he quickly eats breakfast and heads out. He lingers a moment bracing himself before stepping outside. "That would be a catchy name Kitaer, but we should pick something less ominous. Perhaps the most common name of a Aquisition's General Store or plain Trading Post AI"
Nesyax awakens when Vesna does. Perhaps she would have slept a bit more, but it seems a good a time as any to get up. After washing up a bit and getting dressed, the other woman is still doing whatever it she is doing. (i.e. praying) So, she heads out with her longhorn and plays for a bit. She keeps an eye out for Stasyn, although really, she's trying to see if his snake familiar is around. (If she does spot it, she would stop and come over to the Verdan, asking to see it.)
She laughs a little at the franchise name suggestion. "We could make it simple and just go with 'Don't Die!'" She continues to laugh a bit, but then her mood turns more serious. "I suppose we need something serious sounding. But if we want 'weasel' in the name I know where to get some pictures for decorating."
One finished eating, and with everyone else ready to go, she gets her gear pausing just to wait for the others. "Visiting the Butcher is probably not bad. Then the tavern later probably."

Waking up after a fairly restful sleep, Daryos gets up and washes up before getting dressed and having a simple rationed morning meal with the others, giving Nesyax an appreciative smile over the longhorn music, suggesting she would play more tonight perhaps, then ready to head out into the streets of the quarantine zone once more. He chuckles at Kitaer's suggestion for a franchise name. "I think we can manage without a name a bit longer but more suggestions are of course welcome. Let's spend this day for more inspiration and we can decide tonight and let Render know our decision."He says, turning to the others on the street outside their tempoary base of operations. "And yes, let us start with the butcher and see what we can find out there and then move on to that tavern. Apart from securing supplies we should focus on finding out more about this Bone Collector and where we can find them, but anything we can gather on the plague and the Morbus Doctore will also be useful." He says, looking around at the others to make sure they are all with him. He then has short speech about how well they all performed yesterday in spite of being thrown into a less than ideal situation with the new Etharis franchise, making the team feel surprisingly inspired and emboldened again. He then nods for Kitaer to take point to the butcher as the team's first port of call for today.

"Could shorten it to AIDD," Kitaer says with a bit of a shrug but then let's the idea of a name drift out of his head.
Kitaer's morning routine is pretty simple. A bit of water on the face, some food and drink in the belly, a checking over of his kit and gear, then he is ready for the day. "Tell me if I'm going too fast for you to map," the minotaur says as an aside to Nesyax as they're preparing to leave. "I'm not sure how much sketching or note taking or such you need is all..."
Once everyone is gathered and ready then Kitaer will head out, leading the way to the butcher's...
Ren listens to Nesyax play the horn and while he doesn't say much, you notice his tail swaying and tapping the floor along to the tune.
As the group heads outside, they pass by Hank and Dean standing guard on either side of the front door on their way to see the butcher. The bright morning sun is warm against your skin as you begin your way down the same street you frequented the day before. The sound of birds cawing overhead fill your ears and if it weren't for the smell and the rundown condition of the surrounding buildings, you could almost forget that you are trapped in a diseased ridden prison of sorts. Making your way down the street, you notice the old man from the day before setting up his vegetable cart. Across the street, you see the butcher shop.
A wooden sign hangs above the door that reads "The Happy Hog". The outside of the windows are quite dirty, but you can make out different cuts of meat hanging from large hooks inside. Looking closely through the dirty glass you notice a large figure moving around inside.
When Daryos attempts to enter the shop, he quickly realizes that the door is locked. After giving the handle a jiggle, you hear a few loud footsteps a booming voice from inside growl. "Can I help you?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Perhaps..."The young white-haired noble says, looking around the interior of the butchery. "...we could possibly be interested in buying some of your meat. I am a bit curious though, impressed even, that you are able to find and sell meat in the quarantine zone."He says with a quite polite tone.
When Daryos mentions buying some meat, a click is heard behind the door before a small window within the door slides open. where there was once solid looking wood wood, an opening appears within the door. The opening is about 1ft wide by 6in tall, and through the opening you can see the large dark outline of someone within. "Give me your hands if you want inside... I need to see if yer clean enough to enter my store." The voice booms from behind the wooden door.

Daryos is slightly apprehensive about giving his hands to the butcher as he feels quite attached to them. And he prefers to keep it that way. Insight: 13 + Guidance: 2
Indeed, his red snake is on Stasyn's arm as they ate breakfast together and he does not mind that Nesyax is curious about it. As he stands with the group before the butcher shop, he is glad for his short stature as that means he is unlikely to be chosen to offer his own hands.
It's hard to get a read on the voice behind the door. It doesn't sound unreasonable that they would want to make sure customers were not sick before allowing them into their shop.

Insight Check on Ren? Checking on the guards shouldn't require some kind of signal whistle... 7 - Kitaer buys it.

LOL, yup... everything seems fine.
"Acquisitions Incorporated: And Don't Die!" Kitaer ponders aloud. "Kind of catchy..."
