OOC: I don't think there's any reason to take the disadvantage. Maybe just let the DM decide what your penalty should be.
"Sklin, wait back here. They'll probably see you. Or I can cast a spell that allows us to see in the cave without your head, AND it will give us advantage in the fight! But it won't be able to stealth first with Sklin back... Either way I'm willing to go in first."
Quorthon pricks his finger in anticipation with his trident. A single drop of blood appears and he looks at the others, expectantly.
"Ready" Sklin'oth's flames start rising again as he readies himself for the next encounter. "I'll stay slightly back so my flames won't give us away" he then thinks " On your mark, Quorthon"
He moves still slightly far from the entrance but in range so that he can throw down a fireball or a bolt at the goblins.
Quorthon walks into the room in in Goblin form, this time not saying a word.
Regardless of how they react, Quorthon continues to walk until he is roughly 15 ft away from them. He then licks the blood off of his finger and points to each of the three and shouts: "To hell with you cursed creatures!" and casts Bane on all three of them.
For player reference:
Casting Time:
1 Action
Range/Area:
30ft.
Components:
V, S, M(a drop of blood)
Duration:
1 Minute
Attack/Save:
CHA 12
Up to three creatures of your choice that you can see within range must make Charisma saving throws. Whenever a target that fails this saving throw makes an attack roll or a saving throw before the spell ends, the target must roll a d4 and subtract the number rolled from the attack roll or saving throw.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Quorthon's ruse works perfectly: The Goblins don't even pay attention at all until it's too late. To the left, Quorthon sees that there is 2 more Goblins that were not visible coming in, but they are also busy doing Goblin stuff. Quorthon casts Bane, dazzling the 3 Goblins near the Brazier.)
Goblin 1: 14
Goblin 2: 1
Goblin 3: 13
(All of the Goblins manage to shake off the effects of Bane! They scramble and pick up their nearby weapons!)
OOC: Looks like we lost Vokrul. I guess I'll play him for now. Just waiting for Cleo's Initiative.
Cleo, you're up first. Just to set the stage, there are 3 Goblins scrambling near the Brazier and 2 Goblins to your left as you pass thru the end of the entrance into the large room.
OOC: Just FYI, if youre on mobile, you can change it to desktop mode to be able to roll. Its kind of annoying but maybe easier than typing in the code.
Also, we are whiffing these spells! Cleo I believe you still have Bardic Inspiration too!

(Cleo casts Fireball on one of the 3 Brazier Goblins, but it goes flying over his little head by about a foot.
(The Goblins at the Brazier and near the Wall have now gathered their wits and launch a furious counterattack! It looks like each of them picks one of the group and begins focusing them with their arrows.)
Left Brazier Goblin on Quorthon: Attack: 13 Damage: 7
Middle Brazier Goblin on Sklin'oth: Attack: 14 Damage: 3
Right Brazier Goblin on Sturm: Attack: 20 Damage: 7
(Quorthon and Sklin'oth duck down and avoid the arrows, but, in a bad bit of luck, when Sturm ducks the arrow manages to find the tiny opening in his armor near his collarbone and hits deep! Blood starts spurting out of Sturm's wound, an arrow sticking out as Sturm staggers a bit and drops to a knee.)
Left Wall Goblin on Cleo: Attack: 14 Damage: 6
Right Wall Goblin on Vokrul: Attack: 15 Damage: 3
(The Goblin shooting at Cleo misses wide, but the one shooting at Vokrul somehow manages to strike an artery in his arm! Vokrul howls in surprise as a huge amount of blood starts pouring out! He is very badly hurt!)
"I agree I'll sneak into a safe range so I could torch them, let's follow your plan"
OOC: I know I'm shooting myself on the foot but if I need a stealth roll mine a be at disadvantage for roleplay reasons

Quorthon - Dragonborn Bard
DMs note: I don't want to influence you guys, but just a reminder that Quorthon is still disguised as a Goblin.
If anyone wants to sneak up to the entrance, roll a Stealth check. No need to take disadvantage.

Oh! I assumed it went away once it was discovered! Perfect! Thanks DM.
Quorthon looks at his hand after pricking it and realizes he's still in Goblin form.
"Forget what I just said! I will go in, cast Bane, and then you all come rushing in after. Everyone ready?"

"Ready." Cleo chimed in and prepared herself to attack when she got an opportunity to do so, very determined to reach Bess as soon as possible.
Just waiting for Quorthon to start the attack now...
