Token leans against the Eastern wall, trying to catch his breath. "Glad... that's over with." he pants. Token will then try to approach Hana while brandishing his shortsword towards the remains of the undead lying next to her, as if expecting them to rise up again. "You alright, Miss Hana?" Token says to her, checking her for injuries.
After seeing the horrible amalgamations of varying flesh topple around her, Mavis leans down with her hands on her knees, breathing a sigh of relief. "Is everyone okay?" She says, as she raises her head to assess the status of everyone in the room. She sees Hana lying on the ground, and walks towards her, kicking various bones as they get in her way. "Oh no" she whispers under her breath, as she gets down on her knees near Hana, and puts two fingers on the side of her neck, checking for a pulse.
“Thank Garl! Hey guys, I noticed that some of these are actually wooden peices and not coins isn’t that crazy? Do you think we should take some trophy for our trouble?” Evara starts getting down from the coin mound and surveys the scene and see Hana and uses lay on hands.
"You know I can't let you walk out of here with that" says Mavis, in a low monotone voice. However, given the circumstances of potentially losing several party members to this excursion under her watch, her resolve is diminished, and she's not in a policing mood right now. "...So don't let me catch you taking some of that gold" she continues, whilst still leaning towards Hana to check if she's alive, heavily suggesting based on her tone, that as long as you're subtle about it and not take too much, she's not going to make a big deal about it.
Mavis lowers her head in disappointment, letting out an agitated sigh. As she looks down, she notices a small object clutched in Hana's hand. Mavis effortlessly loosens the grip from Hana's lifeless fingers, as she takes the object in her hand; a gold mirror lined with intricate and extravagant details meant to resemble flowers growing on vines. Mavis looks at herself through the mirror as the glint of the torch on the ground behind her reflects off the glass, and sees nothing but a failure. She failed at her duty to protect her, and now that Hana is dead, she will inevitably fail to protect this city from whatever threat Hana predicted, blinded without her guidance. Mavis clutches the mirror tightly in her hand, as a single tear sheds down a face she can hardly recognize in the reflection anymore.
Mavis slowly gets up after Evara's statement. Visibly annoyed by Evara's tactless disposition, as she puts Hana's mirror in her pocket. She walks back to her torch to pick it up, and tries to fruitlessly investigate the mural for any clues or leads that could be related to the imminent threat.
Token stands up to look at Hana. Though he did not know her well, he felt a tinge of regret. She had been at the front of the hallway and prevented the skeletons from swarming them. If he were a hero of legend, maybe all this could have been prevented and nobody had to die. Reality hit him and he started to wonder whether the journey was worth the risk. Whether he should return to the cabin empty handed, waiting for his mentor to return. He then looked to Mavis, who was staring at a mirror.
”She… she gave up her life t’ give us a chance. Let’s make th’ most outta it.” He says with a sniff. He will pick up his dropped weapons and stop in front of Hana to make a silent prayer to Sune. “May y’ find peace an’ rest.” He whispers.
Mavis's examination of the murals convinces her that the paintings are old but well-preserved. They very well may have been painted at the same time these chambers were built, over two centuries ago. All of the people in the murals are surrounded by piles of treasures: coins, gems, statues, paintings, fine armor, weapons, and clothing, all jumbled together, yet they all are looking in the direction of the large pile of coins in this room. All of them are either kneeling, bent over, or bowing their heads in the same direction, as if there is supposed to be something or someone there of great significance.
Everyone can see that although the floor has been scuffed over a large area during the fight, you can also still see the same type of bootprints you've seen throughout these tunnels, indicating at least a couple of people have walked through this room much more recently. The footprints lead to the metallic circle inlaid in the ground in the northwest corner. It is perfectly smooth and highly polished, with symbols that appear engraved all around the circumference.
Evara can feel that some in the group seemed put off by her positivity after a death. She feels she needs to explain and says ”I am saddened by Hana’s death, but my upbringing with the gnomes told me that negativity is not a good thing and that sadness should not be dwelled upon. The only way forward is through Garl and one should not be saddened by death as it means someone is now with Garl or their own savior” As a tear starts to shed down Evara’s cheek she turns away and starts talking about a different subject, uncomfortable with sad emotions.
“guys, i assume that this is like a burial right for a dragon given the symbolic painted woooden pieces. Do you think this must be a dragon tomb?”
Evara then goes and inspects the circle and the boot prints.
“can someone measure these boot prints? Does this circle look magicky?”
Mavis pulls out a piton from her pack and uses it as a tool to measure the footprints. The average length of a piton is about 4 inches, so she's using the piton as a frame of reference to estimate the length of each footprint.
As the ball bearing rolls across the metal perimeter, the circle begins to very faintly hum. The bearing crosses the interior of the circle but instead of continuing in a straight line, when it touches the ring on the opposite side it begins moving in a clockwise circle along the inner rim.
Mavis finds well-defined imprints of three distinct pieces of footwear. One appears to have a sole pattern designed for hard travel based on the ridge and bump patterns, measuring approximately 13 inches. The other two are similar to each other, a more casual shoe style intended more for comfort than traction, one with a wide elevated heel (more like the heel on a cowboy boot than high-heels). The heeled shoe is approximately 10 inches and the flat is approximately 11 inches.
Over the course of a few minutes the steel bearing gradually slows down, slowly spiraling in towards the center of the circle as it does. During this time Robin takes a closer look at the symbols on the circle, and bits of half-remembered stories start to click together in his mind. A large circle of symbols on the floor, a person steps inside, experiences an unexpected feeling of acceleration, and then suddenly finds themself somewhere else. A teleportation circle.
“I would be willing to try! But should be try to look around for clues to a spell first? Or maybe just give it a whirl? Would you follow if I disappeared or wait for me to try to make it back? I’m willing to try either way because I know I’ll go with Garl either way, I just want to make sure we are all on the same page. I’ll ask Garl for guidance.”
Evara bows her head, and then looks around the circle and the rest of the room for clues!
Mavis stands next to Robin near the circle and asks "How long does it take for the teleporter to work? Because I'm tempted to throw one of the dragon cadavers in there" she asks, with a half-serious tone. "Maybe if we can throw it hard enough, we'll hit whoever is on the other side" she continues, letting out a slight snort, but is still very curious about the possibility of pelting the potential culprit with the lifeless objects that caused them so much torment.

Mavis doesn’t detect a pulse, but looking at the injuries Hana suffered she wouldn’t have expected to.
Evara touches Hana’s limp body and feels warmth radiate from her hand into the still form, and then return to her hand. There’s no effect.
(PanHana hasn’t posted in a week and isn’t responding to messages).
Evara goes and coyly takes some gold pieces and a few wooden pieces out of curiosity.
”oh Hana may your soul be remanded to Garl.”
”what’s the next adventure this was great guys!”
