Without even second guessing Robin's judgement, Mavis immediately walks over to a dragon cadaver and picks it up with both hands by grabbing the scruff of its tattered clothes. Effortlessly raising it over her shoulder like a harpoon, she yells "This is for Hana, you son of a *****!" and hurls the cadaver into the teleporter harder than anything she has ever thrown before in her life while letting out a spine-tingling shriek.
The corpse crosses the rim of the teleportation circle, seems to slightly pick up speed, and then smashes into the wall on the opposite side and falls to the ground, half in and half out of the ring. Nothing else happens.
“Hmm, let’s put a pin in this. Maybe there is someone else we could talk to that may know of a spell. Or possibly the circle knows the dragon is dead so it stopped? I’m a little scared to bash my head into the wall now.
I think we should take more of this gold to fund the rest of this adventure and maybe give some to Hana’s family and tell brother Keefe about everything we saw down here.”
Evara raises her shoulder to her ears cracks a half smile looking awkward with arms out and elbows bent.
"Need I remind you that this is not your gold?" Mavis barks, wondering to herself what kind of God Garl Glittergold must be to just let its followers casually steal money that is currently under city jurisdiction. "Not to mention that some of this money is fake, so there is clearly an illegal counterfeiting operation going on here. I have to confiscate this as evidence, and turn it into the city watch." she continues, with her arms folded, baffled by Evara's greed, even after she let her swipe some of the gold under her nose earlier.
She lets out a deep sigh, "lets report back to Keefe then, I have quite a few questions for him anyway."
Mavis turns back around when she hears Robin stand in the circle. Just in case, she draws her sword, preparing for the worst to happen as she darts her eyes all around the room.
Robin feels a slight tugging sensation towards the center of the circle, but there’s no other effect.
With his previous arcana check and these tests, Robin would realize that there’s only a slight residual magical energy left in the ring, and it would take an advanced spellcaster to activate it and make it useable.
Evara looks at Mavis and says “This isn’t city property, this is an offering to an evil dead dragon. It’s not counterfeit, it’s very common for wooden pieces to be painted in an offering like this because no one wanted to loose out on that much gold. It’s not doing anyone any good down here, we could put it to good use though. If you really want to tell brother Keefe about it you can, but it isn’t evidence of anything except that someone loved an evil dragon.”
she then looks at Robin and says “I’m interested in the circle here too and I think that once we have more information we should come back and try it.”
Evara does not put the gold down that she already pocketed but does not pick up anymore. Evara skips over to Robin and gives him a hug and says “I know we will figure out the circle!” Then starts to go back to the stairs.
Evara is excited to see brother Keefe and let him know about everything that they found. She specifically asks about the circle and if he knows anyone who may be of any help in getting it work. She does tell him about the gold and the wooden peices of it she found and is able to show him examples and asks if he knows any specifics about the dragon it may have been for. She also details about the zombies and asks about anyone associated with that magic.
Once Mavis reaches the surface, she pulls out her city watch horn, and blows it in a very specific pattern. After a few moments pass, a small group of fellow city watchmen appear at the graveyard. As they appear, she goes to meet them, and whispers a few things amongst them, before the group disperses into the tunnel they just came out from.
Mavis then patiently waits next to Evara and Keefe, very keen on understanding everything he knows about this place, based on the information Evara relayed.
Brother Keefe listens intently as Evara relates what happened, getting distracted momentarily as the watchmen arrive, followed by several members of the Most Solemn Order of the Silent Shroud, who follow them into the crypt. His expression changes into a scowl at the mention of undead in the tunnels below.
"My concern that someone has disturbed the rest of one of the residents entrusted into our care has developed in quite an unexpected direction. The undead are an abomination to the natural order, but I fear that worse may be to come based on what you found below.
"A contact in the Lords' Alliance provided the information that Xandria Welltran may have been a green dragon and asked that I investigate, given other events that have occurred recently. She said the Welcomers have been passing correspondence related to dragons for the past few months to people outside Phlan which the Alliance has intercepted, and they believe it may be connected to other events they are concerned about to the west.
"Unfortunately, given the evidence you have uncovered, I have suspicions that there may be a much more pressing problem here. The Order will have to inspect the site and conduct our own research, but the ritualistic chamber below and the presence of necromancy makes me suspect that someone may be trying to raise Xandria Welltran as a dracolich."
Evara says “Geez brother Keefe this sure sounds like it’s getting crazy! Did you mention if you knew anything about the teleportation circle or anyone who might be able to help us use it? Also, out of curiosity, what is a dracolich? And could you further explain the Lord’s alliance and how to contact them?”
“Gang I think I would like to talk to people at the Lord’s alliance and see about this correspondence that’s been happening.”
I'm sorry for the delay everyone. We appear to be down to just three players, so I want to know if the three of you want to keep going. The options are: 1. keep playing 2. call this a good stopping point and disband 3. pause and try to recruit new players to continue from here.

Unless anyone has an objection, we can stipulate that you all leave the mausoleum, meet with Brother Keefe and tell him everything that you found.

Evara’s actor is wondering if we are still playing?
I'm sorry for the delay everyone. We appear to be down to just three players, so I want to know if the three of you want to keep going. The options are:

2. call this a good stopping point and disband

Thoughts?
I would be interested in recruiting new players, but would also be ok just playing forward if no one else wanted to wait.
