Thuribula doesn't immediately wake up again as Fazil tosses the ration, but when she does open her eyes and see it, she smiles, looking around to see who put it there... presumably Fazil catches her eye and some nonverbal communication will tell her it was him. "Flame reward you, thank you!"she says warmly, and despite her body's hunger as it works to heal and replenish itself, she makes herself eat slowly. All fire must be mastered and contained, or it will rage out of control and burn you.
She listens to the conversation between Dabbert and Auron, and Maggwyn and Charlotte. Despite their inhospitable surroundings, it's a warm kind of camaraderie, the Caspian open-heartedness a balm in a place where so many are reclusive and suspicious. She shakes her head listening to Auron's stories about ratlings and garmyr... More terrible mutations created by this terrible force of chaos. When and where will it end? It will not end, if people keep buying up delerium and taking it who knows where.
Neither does the talk of the Academy settle her. There are things she doesn't like about the Edicts, herself---they seem to her almost a compromise, but the need and desire for peace in the hearts of the nations seem to her a good and noble reason to adopt them. But, while they chafe under the Edicts, so many forget today the terror of the sorcerer-kings that used to rule the world with immense arcane power that held every citizen in their thrall. Never since Saint Tarna met the archangels and turned against her sorcerous master to bring the radiant brilliance of Divine Light to clash with the unthinkable arcane might, has the world known such vast destruction... until, perhaps, the coming of this meteor...but there is a reason why no mage can possess a noble title... that kind of power must never be allowed to centralize again, or we will know our greatest grief and folly.
Thuribula quietly finishes the ration that Fazil gave her, following it with a few more sips of water from her waterskin. "It was a rough fight,"she agrees with Maggwyn. "When we began our journey, I didn't count on the weight of the armor slowing me down so much. I unfortunately might find it hard to flee! I found myself dearly wishing for a good war horse... or any horse, really. A horse can be trained to tolerate battle, and the weight of Rikard's armor would be of no consequence to it. I could leap in and out of battle in a moment, as needed."
When the group decides to make its way back, Thuribula will focus on vigilance, on watching out carefully for signs of danger so that the party may avoid them well before the situation becomes too risky.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Charlotte had understood Maggwyn not wanting to go in further detail.
"I.. Understand, well I hope I see you all again! At Emberwood and in the ruins of course."
Auron chuckles and pats Dabbert on the shoulder.
"Ahh than good I hope we do! They say in Caspia that traveling with strong women is good luck! And you appear to have two of them! So I say you'll have all the luck you'll need my friend! We shall be off! Do be careful on you're back!"
In a somewhat.. rare... event the haze has gotten so thick that they lose a few more hours of progress. (Can only see 5ft in front of you before it finally starts to clear up.)
OOC Drakkenheim being a dick today lol but the city can have a mind of it's own lol.
The haze finally clears up after ANOTHER two hours but they manage to come toward the edge of the city. Near the edge of the city inside the haze still are 3 closed treasure chest.
Looking around for others lurking in the shadows, Maggwyn is cautious after so much haze and getting lost so badly. The getting lost pisses her off, she should know how to move in this city, even in the haze.
The chests are intriguing though. She slowly walks towards them, keeping an eye out for traps or anything of that sort.
The area beneath the chest become difficult terrain, as Maggwyn touches one chest. Her hands begin to grow sticky... stuck to the chest. It's mouth slowly grins into purple teeth, the others under the (slightly changed earth as mold earth can only deposit 5ft) changed earth begin to rise. These bi pedal nightmare chest all look to Maggwyn with hungry eyes. Though in the mouth of the one she reached, stuck to it's sticky tongue is a Delirium fragment.. No.. Too large to be a fragment. Could it be.. a shard?
OOC Maggwyn is grappled by it, and when it's touched in it's object it causes checks to escape that grapple to be with disadvantage. DC 13 (She can try as an action on her turn)

She doesn't appear to see any traps, the locks however don't appear to be actually useful in anyway.
Maggwyn reaches down and opens the three chests, with her gloves on.
Fazil stands nearby, ready to cast Mold Earth beneath the chests in case they are traps.
The area beneath the chest become difficult terrain, as Maggwyn touches one chest. Her hands begin to grow sticky... stuck to the chest. The first one has a feature called grappler and has advantage on against anyone it's grappled (Grappling Maggwyn)
so that's why the first attack had advantage.
I'll add the roleplay after I see what the rolls are ^^
If Maggwyn is still standing it will be her turn after these
