Karra will be up early (hopefully before dawn) and will have unpacked his entire kit out to check everything. He polishes the tools in his bag before memorising everything he has and placing it back in a neat bundle so what he would require more is towards the top without disrupting the weight distribution. He will wait around in the tavern's main room for his companions to head downstairs, all the while just sitting quietly, contemplating something as he clasps his hands together.
Crispy woke up feeling better. She noticed that Ashley had already left the bed, so she got ready as soon as she could and went downstairs. She thought to herself that next time it would probably be more polite to not leave Ashley alone in the bed so they'd wake up together, but the night terror threw off her sleeping pattern, and since she was up anyways, might as well make use of the time. But still. If she got a better night sleep, Crispy wanted to wake up with her. She Dressed in her typical adventuring outfit, she approached the table everyone was having breakfast at, smiled and waved hello to everyone, held Ashley by the shoulders and gave her a loud obnoxious kiss on the cheek, and said, "Good morning!" with a smile on her face as she sat down next to her. "I am famished."
You could tell there was something else on her time, too, something good.
Ashley tries not to get flustered at the public display of affection afforded to her. Keeping ones wits at all times was drilled into her fairly hard by the medical corp. Good morning. were you able to sleep afterwards last night ?
”I was, yes.” She smiled and waved over an employee to order some food. After everyone had done so, since Hatt and Akaas didnt know sign language, Crispy took the opportunity to communicate in a more personal manner:
I wanted to apologize again about last night, I should have told you I have a sleep disorder. I got so wrapped up in having a good time with you, it literally didn’t cross my mind. Also, thanks for caring about me. To say the least, I had an amazing time with you last night in every regard, and I hope we can do that again when the time is right. I’m not used to getting what I want, this..kind of happiness..isnt typical for me. I actually did get some sleep, and woke up before you to exercise, then I came back to bed.
Ashley signs back You have nothing to apologize for. I knew what i was getting myself into and i wouldn't have changed a thing. The fact that I help you get a better nights sleep is enough for me.

”You get used to it after a while.” Crispy joked. Seeing that Bennett was asking about being ready to go, Crispy finished her breakfast quickly. She was trying not to eat like a starving ogre in front of Ashley, and ate with as much dignity as she could until then. “I have everything I need.“
She eyed Bennett with a little bit of scrutiny, but she didn’t show it. She had remembered what Hatt had said, and told herself to keep an eye on this one. He might be right. Who knows what happened with Bennett and the dragonborn. While she was used to dealing with criminals, the thought of Bennett perhaps under some sort of..influence..and hurting her new friends made her stop chewing and her look turned into a glare. She held it, and remained completely motionless while she looked at him, going through thoughts in her head should that happen.
She then resumed chewing and looked down at her meal.
After finishing her breakfast Ashley will see her preparations to completion. If you all will excuse me i need to make a quick trip to the Armorer. She will pay for her meal (let me know how much to remove) and head to the Armorer.
(Alright, charged everyone for their stay at the tavern. And I'm giving Inspiration to Gasp for being cute, made me laugh after having to go through all your sheets to fix the currency and add the right stuff.)
Hatt enjoys his breakfast, and chats with Bennett. This will be my first time on a ship. I mean, I've taken smaller ones - 'ferries' I think they were called, across a few rivers, but they were quite small. The ships I've seen in the docks were so much bigger - I think you could fit an entire village on one. That's a wonderful thought - an entire village of people, but able to move around, go from city to city, and see the whole world. After rambling on for a while, he realises that Bennett had asked a question. No, I don't suppose I need to go shopping, unless you can recommend something to take on a long ship journey. Something to read, perhaps? But I do need to let my family know that I'll be away for a long time - weeks, I suppose, maybe months even. I've never been away from them for such a long period. They would probably want to throw me a goodbye party, but we don't have time for that if the ship is leaving today.
(After finishing breakfast, Hatt pays for the meal and thanks the tavern staff, then heads out into the city. He visits whichever member of his family lives near to the tavern or the docks. It's a brief visit; he lets them know he'll be away for a while, where he's going and who he's travelling with. Then he heads to the docks and tries to find the Serpent's Rise).
Karra listens to the others as they partake in breakfast together. He keeps quiet during this time, that thing still on his mind. He will thank the tavern keeper for their hospitality before leaving and head with the others towards the docks.
It is his first time going to such a place; the briny smell as the ships pull into the harbour, and the huge wooden vessels in a row. "Hmm, these are boats, yes?" Karra says, shielding his eyes lightly from the sun's glare. "Looking for one that is serpent, yes? Maybe have snake attached to front, like other boat." He points to one of the boats and its figurehead. He seems a little hesitant to walk out onto the wooden docks themselves, much more comfortable to be on the solid ground nearby instead.
Before she headed to the docks, Crispy received a magical signal in the form of an arcane rune on her inside wrist. She had an interesting look on her face, and the symbol told her of a location to meet someone, so she walked through town to a specific tailoring shop, and went inside. She nodded at the owner, and flashed the symbol on her wrist, quickly. The owner nodded, pointed to the back room, opened the door for her, and she went inside. The room was small, and completely different than what you'd expect to see from a tailoring shop. It contained maps, books, tables and chairs, plenty of refreshments, and most of all, a much older taller man with grey hair and a grey beard, wearing a military uniform, but in cloth version, not leathers, like a doctor. He looked very, very important.
"Donovan!" Crispy exclaimed, happy to see him, "What are you doing here?" He didn't even bother answering. "I understand you're still having the night terrors?" He said slowly, his voice resonating with intelligence, wisdom, but little emotion. "Yes.." Crispy admitted, "Come on, old man, what are you doing here? You rarely page me." She asked again, a little less patient. "Young lady," He said, "Ever since the Commander found you that day after the alley fight completely physically broken at the age of 15..I have been taking care of your health, putting you back together each and every time you came crawling back from a fight. Honestly, the trauma you suffer? it's amazing you're still alive. None of the other officers could take such punishment." She was quiet for a moment. It was true. While in the military, it was Donovan, the Force's surgeon, who always patched her back up, saved her from death countless times. "Yes, that's true. I still don't know why you still help me since I got fired. The Force disowned me? Remember? I'm not even allowed in Waterdeep anymore? Remember?!" "Oh hush. If I don't look after you, no one will. The Commander has nothing to do with you anymore, but, still, I am sympathetic." He said, matter of factly. "You are reckless, impulsive, brash, feral, and dangerous. But believe it or not, I still care for you. I know you are leaving for another mission shortly, and I will be here when you return to put you back together again." Crispy sighed, like a teenager talking to her father. "Sheesh, i'm only..some..of those things. I'll be fine, we have a healer going with us this time." Donovan scoffed at the notion. "The half-elf? Pah. She knows nothing of the demons you carry inside. The things you've been through. Her healing does not go deep enough. You know you need me. I know it's difficult for you to have relationships. Plus..do you really want to hurt another person just to satisfy your..primal desires? Does she know how deep the damage in you goes? I know you well. I know what you can do. You will hurt her like all the others. Remember Arianna?" Crispy remained silent again. Donovan was the only one who truly understood, and it was risky of him to offer his services to a member of the military who was exiled. If the Force knew what he was doing, helping someone like her, he could get in huge trouble and lose it all, too. So, it was obvious he cared, and it was nice having someone put her back together when she needed it. He had been doing so for well over ten years, and he didn't have to since she left. At hearing his words about Ashley, she got a bit defensive, a bit ruffled. Sure, she's hurt people before. And it was always her fault. No one wanted to be around someone who was damaged physically..and mentally. She knew this. But she kept trying. The question was why. "That's not..entirely true, Donovan." She said softly, a bit annoyed, her eyes watering. She was in silent thought for a bit before she spoke again. "But..since you're here, give me some more of those pills." He handed her a small box of white pills. "As you know, only one a day. It'll help you focus and maintain your strength. You shouldn't even have access to these anymore since you're not on the Force, but like I said. Someone needs to look after you." Crispy smirked, put the box in her backback. "Thanks, old man. I'll try and come home alive." He rolled his eyes, and said, "Thanks to me, somehow, you always do. Just don't come back in little pieces." "You can still heal me like that, too. I've seen your work." She smiled.
He told her some additional things, and where he would be should she need healing after the mission, since she wasn't allowed in her home city anymore. They said goodbye, and she headed to the docks and went to go find the ship.
It's a bright morning at the docks, crowds of workers go to and fro the docks either moving cargo or working on a damaged ship. It is deafening as they all yell and sing together, shanties and curses at one and another. The ships all very in size, build and details. Some are just big row boats, others are large galleons stocked with goods. You see an occasional legion of guards going around the docks, checking new arrivals. It will take a while to spot out your ship.
(Roll for perception with advantage, it does have something like a snake as a figurehead.)
After finishing her breakfast Ashley will see her preparations to completion. If you all will excuse me i need to make a quick trip to the Armorer. She will pay for her meal (let me know how much to remove) and head to the Armorer.
You head back down Backpack street, going for the smithy you went to before. The bald man is there, waving good-bye to a customer who walks past you with a new longsword and shield. He nods to you, "Welcome back."
Good morning Sir, I'm in need of something a bit more protective than my leather armor. Id like it if it wasn't to noisy either if you have anything like that. Ashley says to the Shopkeeper.
