The rest of the trip is relatively more quiet as you approach Savasst's borders. You start to see ships filled with dragonborn patrolling the seas. Hatt, you help with a few of the injured crew members and see them give their last rites before letting the sea take them. And as the ship starts to dock, you all see the vast city of Savasst. Buildings made of sandstone and various yuan-ti and dragonborn going about. They seem to be the majority here, while you see a few scarce humans and even fewer halflings or gnomes. Gasp, the desert sun does not bode well for your body as its black feathers draw more heat to you.
Further into the city, you see a large palace with glimmering white and green marble. Bennett, you know this to be the home to the royal family of Savasst. While you have never been there, you've known of their monarchy way from the soldiers you served with. Ominak strides out of the cabin as he takes in the sight. He gives a sigh and heads to meet with the captain before they finish docking.
Crispy gladly takes Ashley's hand. With a huge sigh of relief, and a huge gaping hole in her armor that's making her look like a prostitute, she takes a quick moment to bend over and kiss the ground. "Oh sweet Flames of Hell. Thank you. Land. Thank you." Crispy gives Ashley's hand a squeeze, and looks her over. Ugh, she needs a good meal. She lost weight. I think we all did, she said, tugging at what was left of her pants.
"I need a bath! I need a meal! I need a change of clothes and new armor! And most of all...Hells knows. I need some privacy."
Ashley blushes but looks Crispy in the eyes. Lets get paid first. then we can spend it on the things we need. Ashley puts extra emphasis on the word need.

Karra frowns at Ominak. He has never travelled by sea before, and it seems almost as deadly as travelling through drow territory. He is unsure whether the captain was expecting such casualties when he set out. All he knows is that he survived the ordeal, and needs to keep surviving until his tasks are finished.
Gasp gives a deep sigh as the heat sets in. Dark coat, dark feathers, desert heat and the high sun. It's safe to say the bird knight is quite uncomfortable. He just sort of drags himself along with wherever the group goes, panting and hating life for as long as the sun beats down on them.
Feeling the heat through her torn clothing, Crispy wanted nothing more than to rest. Well. And some other things. She was glad to be alive, and took much relief in knowing her teammates were alive too.
Feeling solid ground was the second best thing to her at the moment besides her hand being tangled in hers. She wanted to rest, to wash up, to eat. She looked up at the sun and stretched the kinks out of neck with a few pops. But, Ashley was tired. The voyage was an ordeal, and she understood. Her heart was pounding with anticipation but she forced herself to wait for a more appropriate time to release her passions and feelings till it was the right time. She wasnt that selfish. Most likely the team wanted to celebrate and spend time together as well. She was also winded and tired, her muscles promised soreness and pain tomorrow.
Despite all that happened, her loins were warm and churned at not getting what it wanted right away and she almost said, “Shh! Soon!”
So, what is around them now that they're at this port city? Anything interesting that they see as they make their way off the boat? Despite his heat misery, Gasp is still quite the city person. He takes in the site of all these scaled folk walking around. So many people who were different from what he knows. So many people who would catch odd glances from humans and the like anywhere else, but not here.
Hatt gazes in wonder at the city as the ship draws near the dock. In all his travels, he's never seen anything like it, and he stands a little too long on the deck in direct sunlight, taking in the sights, before coming to his senses and finding some shade. A bath and some clean clothes sounds like the best idea there's ever been. With the Goddess' mercy, perhaps my bed tonight won't rock back and forth.
(He tries to get a good view of the land surrounding the city - is it farmland? Plains? Desert?)
So, did we finish the job? I'm anxious to get played so I can get some rest before I help Crispy work out some pe t up restlessness with some vigorous exercise. Ashley thinks she is being clever with her euphamisms.

"Yes! Specifically, the uh..'open straddle', 'bridge roll' and uh, 'plow'. Positions. Of exercise. For flexibility." Crispy nodded, akwardly pretending they were talking about exercise.
At hearing the loverbird's wordplay, Bennett starts to charge up an Eldritch Blast with his hand facing his head, then stops. He will step down on to the dock and just take a nice look around. ((Does the city seem lively?))
Well then someone better speed this shit up haha

"Of course." She laughs. "The sooner the better. I'm..starving."
Not sure I'm ready for a full meal just yet. Ashley yawns Maybe a nap before we really get into our shore leave.

"Whatever you want." She smiles, agreeing with the idea, squeezing her hand. "Lead the way."

Crispy remembered something before they docked. She reaches into her pack and tosses Hatt an orange. The best one she could find.

Gasp just rolls his eyes at the “wordplay” Crispy and Ashley attempt.

"Gods, you guys are such squares. Lighten up. We've been at sea for seven months. Hells." Crispy's turn to roll her eyes, looking around at the city.
Bennett chuckles, "It was only a week or two, Crisp."
