(Hey, sorry for not posting yet. I was away for the weekend so missed all the meet-up bit of the session. Virst, shall I introduce my character now?)
( No problem, do you want a bit of tldr to catch you up? And go ahead, as it stand right now, its morning and they're going shopping. You can have your character meet them at a store or at the tavern. )
A bald gnome with stony grey skin and a slight pot belly enters the tavern that morning. He is wearing some slightly fancier clothes which are backed with some leather as he looks over the notes on the noticeboard. He has a shortbow unstrung and tied to his pack, as well as a shortsword securely strapped to his side. "Hmm... Gnome's Rock." He ponders in an unusally low baritone as he strokes his chin. He then looks around to the others in the room, wandering over to them. "I suppose you are here to take one of these bills to." He says to them.
(Should be good catching up. I quickly skimmed over the thread, though 10 pages is a lot to take in initially. I should be good on the catch-up)
Ashley will tag along with Bennett So, i never asked last night but, do you guys already have a job lined up ?
We do: clearing out a mine full of goblins near Gnome's Rock, a couple of hours' walk from here. Bezlin has the notice. Hatt is squinting at the sky and trying to assess the chances of rain.
The sky is clear with the exception of a few lazy clouds floating through, the sun still rising from the early hours. The distant calls of seagulls and a few shouts of the dock workers already up and working on ships. You hear the buzz of a crowd forming over to your right as you leave the tavern, and notice a few farmers and other people headed that way as well.
As majority of the group filtered out Aurelia prepared to do the same, but before the triton got that far she heard the mention of Gnome's Rock. Foggy, green eyes landed on a gnome when she located the origin of the voice.
"That's correct, we are a group preparing for that as we speak. Regrettably you missed most of them, they're heading out to stock up on supplies. As a matter of fact, I am too. Would you care to join us? I'm Aurelia, and I'll happily introduce you to the rest of the group once we catch up to them, should you like to come with."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Splendid. Off we go, then."
Aurelia pockets the two pieces of fish jerky she didn't finish with her breakfast and headed out the tavern door, holding it up for Karra to do the same.
12 Perception to see if she spots the rest of the group. If not, Aurelia will guide Karra straight to Backpack street in hopes of finding them by the handful shops and vendors there.

You spot the group heading to the city square, mostly among farmers and other citizens. They're just about 20 feet ahead, talking to each other as they enter the square. You both can easily catch up if you sprint for them. ( No need to roll for athletics, once you catch up to them you all should enter the town square. )
Aurelia's eyes glimmered with goodnatured mischief as she took off in a sprint towards the group, very quickly catching up and halting behind them. She was, technically, the land crab in this situatio whether she won or not. All tritons on land were. With a smile she turned to watch that Karra actually made his way towards her, and when the gnome joined up she cleared her throat to catch the rest of the group's attention.
"I've found yet another brave soul. This is Karra, he expressed equal interest in the dealings of Gnome's Rock and didn't mind tagging along."
With that she left the individual introductions to her fellow adventurers.
Bennett turns and bows his head slightly, "Hello, Karra. Name's Bennett." He reaches out a hand for you to shake.
((I don't think I've described my character. Bennett is about 6 feet tall. Average build, muscular but still pretty slender. He has a short, well-kept beard. Brown hair, dark blue eyes. Hair on top is cut short (but he is in the process of letting it grow out). He wears brown leather armor trimmed with black. Overall, he is a pretty handsome man))
As they walk in a group to the city square, Hatt is deep in conversation with Ashley about how one might persuade a group of goblins to leave a mine peacefully. It's possible, if the Goddess smiles upon us, and definitely something we should try. It's good to know others are open to the idea, too.
Hatt is too engrossed in the conversation, and jumps back when Aurelia and an unknown gnome suddenly appear at their side. There's a loud curse, and Hatt dodges back out of the path of a fully-loaded cart that still almost knocks him down. The driver glares and curses again as the cart passes, and Hatt, feeling rather foolish for jumping in the first place, looks back at the gnome and speaks after Bennett. I'm Hatt, and we're all pretty much new to each other, as far as I know. Welcome, and he offers his hand too.
As your group makes your way down the road, you all see the open space down the way. Gatherings of people go to and fro around the square. Farmers and their carts of food headed down a wide street, opposite of that stands guards in ornate armor standing at another street. You note the sailors past you as you look to your left, a wide street with carts loaded with wood or travelers come from there. Opposite of that is the one that is probably your destination as you spot a rather odd group like yourselves. Made of different races and from different styles of life. People coming out from that street are sometimes clad in armor, or carry ominous staves filled with power.
The square itself is alive with cafes, restaurants, and a theater in the center. Perhaps for announcements or plays, but it stands vacant right now. Only a few groups linger there for talk and meeting. You spot a few guards patrolling every now and then, usually in pairs.
You spot a large store near the start of the street besides the blacksmith shop. Its windows aligned with various books and goods. A sign hangs above the door, Bags and Potions, the name of the store perhaps. You see a lot of adventurers coming in and out of the store with notably bigger packs than before.
Lets try this shop first. It may have what we need. Ashley proceeds into the store and takes a look around.
Perception 12
The store is lined with various goods. Some valuables, some seeming like trash. The shelves were lined with various books for personal uses, while a shelve below seemed to carry a journals of differing sizes and thickness. A display case under them, showing off various packs. A dungeoneer's pack and first aid pack to list a few you see. A few island displays show off a collection of potions, some bubbling and a few vibrantly changing color. A tiefling walks around the store in a smock, her purple skin blending well with her pinkish hair. She goes to each other person in the store and she walks towards you.
"Welcome to Bags and Potions, name's Tibani and I'm the clerk around here. You all looking for something in particular?"
Gasp stands up, gear ready, and gives a nod in affirmation that he is ready to set out!
Ashley responds to Hatt with Goblins you say? i assume there is no chance for diplomacy ?

The deep gnome looks the triton up and down, probably unfamiliar with them. "Very well, lead on Aurelia." He says. "And you may call me Karra."
