I've always likes Ilmatars followers. They can be a bit odd at times, but they are great people. Ashley waits for the story to be over and the children dismissed before approaching the priest.

The father nods, "Well, I'll try, but I don't really know what I can do to help. If it's a question about our god, I can, any other god, I know some. But combat, I leave that to the other priests, a blind man is liable to do more harm than good."
Then we shall get right to the point. I believe one of your priestesses who was recently on a pilgrimage has been bewitched and has incidentally cause some of my companions to become cursed. Ashleylooks to Hatt, then back to the priest Please forgive my bluntness, but this is a serious matter we wish to resolve. Hatt here knows a bit more than i do
We speak of the Lady Myra, Hatt adds. Please do not alarm yourself, neither she nor anyone else is in imminent danger. But there is evil behind this I think. As Hatt says this he glances around the area, checking in case there is anyone listening to the conversation: Perception: 21. We must stand against this evil, for while there is no danger at this moment, lives have been lost already to this curse, and the danger to lives and souls will only grow.
Hatt draws himself up as tall as he can. Sir, will you aid us in this? We must ask of the last night the Lady was known to be in the Cathedral. With whom did she meet? Is there any record of this?
(There's a monk right beside the father. He never left his side.)
"...You speak of great danger already, Sir Hatt. If lives were already lost then she is in danger, seeing as Lady Ashley says your companions have been caught in it as well. But what troubles me is that it does not make sense. Myra should not be back until another two months."The father's brow tightens, his face looking troubled. The monk places a hand upon his shoulder, concern on his face. "And you say that she's been bewitched? She's under someone's influence and is causing harm to others?...Who is this evil that you suspect then? Who'd force a follower of Illmater's hand to violence?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sir, you ask many questions that we hope to be able to answer at the end of our investigation; questions indeed that we would hope the Lady Myra herself will answer. But I must ask you to focus upon the questions that I asked you, for without more information no answers will ever be found. Who visited the Lady Myra on her last night in the Cathedral?
Does Hatt get any sense that either the Father nor the monk is not surprised by his questions? Insight: 21
"Brother, please fetch the records for Myra." The monk nods and heads out of the library, "I remember she had met with a few our flock for confessions but then she visited me near midnight. Told me that she'd wanted to do her pilgrimage...I told her it was too early, she needn't feel rushed. But I gave in to her fervor, saying she's ready to bear such a burden upon herself. Oh Illmater, I have sinned for not trying harder to stop her, this blind fool was too proud to have such a devout acolyte." The father criticized himself.
I see, said Hatt. And did you notice anything unusual about the Lady Myra during that midnight meeting? Did she, perhaps, cover herself or seem something other than filled with religious fervour. Please, any small detail might be important.
He thinks for a moment, then walks to the priest, reaches up and takes a hold of his hand. You are not alone in your sin, he says quietly. I myself wished... I wished to walk away from this. I thought to abandon the Lady Myra - though I knew nothing of her at the time - and travel home with my friends, so that I might be with my family again. I miss them so terribly, he admits. And despite this failing, the Goddess in her mercy has given me the opportunity to set things right, to do much good. Who can doubt the mercy and forgiveness of the Gods, against such evidence?
The father shakes his head, "I cannot tell you, sir Hatt, as I am blind. This my burden but I endeavor. She only sounded assured of herself and eager to prove herself to Illmater. I only feel sorrow for not being of aid to you all and your companions. My fellow brother will be back and he will tell us of who she had seen before me that night." The old man's grip tightens, although weakly, "It is by their grace that we're granted the chance to help one another in these times. I thank you. But...how did you both know of her pilgrimage and of her? You said that you two and your travelling companions have only recently come into Savasst, correct?"
Before the father could ask another question, the monk who had left comes back with a thick tome, "Here it is, father!" The father shifts his attention to the monk, nodding at him, "Thank you, brother, now check for Priestess Myra's last meetings." The monk hurriedly opens and flips through the book. His eyes scan each page until they stop, "Ah, here it is! The last few meetings she had were with Miss Sarah, Sir Conner, and Lord Niyra."
We were informed by the one who has asked us to look into this mystery, replies Hatt. I can assure you that his motivations and actions in the case are also a matter of investigation for us. By the Goddess' grace, much light will be shed upon dark deeds before this matter is ended.
Of Sir Conner and Lord Niyra we have already heard. May I ask who Miss Sarah is? Is there any record, beyond just the name?
"It's recorded as the order was, Miss Sarah was the first after noon, then Sir Conner, and finally Lord Niyra. Miss Sarah is an attendant of the first princess." The monk answers. "But how'd you know of Sir Conner and Lord Niyra?"

Hatt nudges Ashley and whispers; Ilmater is a greater ally to the Morninglord than to the Great Mother; you might find an easier welcome than me.

All and any.
@Hatt
They're both surprised, as is any of the monks and nuns in the library.
