"Hey, Belzin." Crispy nods to the other halfling, winking. "And..hello..other random person..coming out of nowhere?" Gesturing at Bennett. "I'm Crispy."
She then waits for them to stop speaking, as she was doing her best to make a good first impression. She could make a fool of herself later on. After all, the day was young.
Hatt loiters in the doorway, grinning at Belzin's comeback, and divides his attention between the fascinating bird person and watching for the waiter to bring his drink.
Bennett turns toward the human who spoke, "Forgive me! It seems I have forgotten my manners. I was just so mesmerized to see a triton! Nice to meet you Crispy." He reaches out his hand and smiles.
Crispy takes his hand. "No worries." She says, smiling. "To be honest I acted the same way when I was introduced to Aurelia."
She looked around for a moment at all of the variety of people she met in the span of one afternoon. "I feel like the ringleader in a circus." She joked.

"I'm glad to hear that your fellow comrade impressed you." She grinned. "I'm more in favor of a set of die, myself."
The lighthearted banter between Crispy and Belzin made Aurelia smile. This was nice. As far as names goes, his did sound familiar.

"Your goblin infested mine sounds like a delight. We've decided to take a ship on a safe passage over the sea to Savasst, the City of Dunes. The journey will take a few weeks, and the reward is 4,500 gold. If you'd like to join, we'd be thankful. They don't set sail for another week, so your mine is definitely still on the table."
Bennett turns back to Aurelia and raises a brow, "That is a lot of gold! What is the problem in Savasst that is worth that much?"
21History to see if Savasst rings a bell (maybe he's served with people from the City of Dunes?)
Savasst, a city in the desert. You have served with their people in joint exercises, yet their military consisted of a dragonkin military while female yuan-ti served as sorcerers and wizards. The city itself is a monarchy among the yuan-ti while the dragonkin there are honor bound to serve them. The oath is one made a long time ago, concerning a yuan-ti priestess and the dragonkin paladin who were regarded as heroes there, their tale now a story for others there. While it has been a few years since your last visit there, nothing of significance came from your friends from the military about their service there. Only things you did hear is that the people seemed a bit uneasy, restless as you were told by fellow soldiers.
"The journey is long, and the pirates operating on the way to Savasst will not let us pass alive. It can be dangerous, and surrounded by the sea and its own obstacles, the pay may be high but so is the risk. I have protected people from the monsters of the sea my entire life, and I never make the mistake of underestimating that. The client can protect himself, he needs our aid to keep both ship and cargo safe until arrival."
That's the main reason she wanted to be part of this quest, instead of letting it fall into the hand of the unprepared - her experience and expertise.
Crispy silently listened to the details, as if, like old times, was getting debriefed on an assignment. It seemed like only yesterday she was out on the field with her partner being a member of the force. Except..there was extortion, bribery, violence, and all the other above-the-law activities that got her in plenty of trouble.

Reedsfellow...You've saw the name on a craft guild's best work, your people sometimes purchases from them. They're rather famous for their level of work and craftsmanship and have been for generations here at Cresthall. You note that the halfling is dressed in noble attire as well.
Bennett nods, "If you would like me to tag along, I can. I've been there before, during my time in the military. When they call it the City of Dunes, they mean it. It's in the middle of a desert. I had some joint exercises with their military, all dragonkin, except for the female Yuan-Ti who served as the army's sorcerers and wizards."
(Would someone mind giving me a TLDR please so i can bring in my character)
( Long story cut short, 6 people, a triton woman, two humans, male and female, a kenku man, and two halflings, both male, are outside of the bar talking of a job. A dragonkin inside is seeing the new things and will probably look to the notice board for jobs, or eat.)
An unassuming Half Elf girl approaches the group discussing things. Excuse me She says to the group Can anyone direct me to the local job boards? I'm trying to find work suited to my skills. She wares slightly flowing leathers, a little dirty from travel. The shield on her back hides the full length of her light brown hair tumbling smoothly to her waist. On mace at her side she proudly displays an emblem of The Morning Lord . On the back of her bare hand, her skin the color of soft ocean sand, reads in Celestial "This one is chosen"

While waiting for the reply, Bennett notices the Kenku and two Halflings, "Greetings! Name's Bennett! I apologize for not introducing myself." he bows slightly.
Hatt, says Hatt. Pleased to meet you. He attempts a similar bow, but finds the movement unfamiliar and awkward. He turns to the bird person: Sorry, I didn't catch your name...?
”We’re attracting quite the group, wouldn’t you say..?” Crispy mused, watching the half elven girl ask her question and then leave. Crispy glanced one more time at Bird Person, trying to figure it out.
