Yes the bathroom does connect to the ballroom as well. You’re free to explore the bathroom if you wish.
Mark stealthily slides up to the doors leading to the ballroom. However, inside has gone quite dark, the cultists clearly dimming all the arcane lighting. He sees many cloaked figures but can’t make out exactly how many nor can he tell any of them apart.
You will remember that Ash had said she will hold the ballroom for 10 minutes. If your plan is to wait for her to do something then you’ll sacrifice your chance to save the other Dragonmarked leaders. If the plan is to do both things you’ll need to make a move.
Erix decides it has been long enough, as they still have others to rescue so he throws another furball into the ballroom, this time it becomes a
Unable to parse dice roll.

So you all burst into the room. Your eyes acclimate to the darkness and you see what’s taken over the ballroom. A few dead guards litter the floor, while another group have been tied together at the far end of the room, guarded by 4 cultists. Another 4 cultists stand near your end of the ballroom with sacrificial daggers drawn, they seem surprised by your presence.
Ash stands in the middle of the room with the unconscious form of Caden Orien at her feet. To either side of her are two imposing figures in dark hoods and giant axes on their backs. Ash speaks in a slightly confused but confidant tone, “Who are you? More guards? You certainly don’t look it.”
Elero strides forward. "We don't, because we aren't. Cavallah is tired of you, Ash, so your time has come." He points at all the cultists. "And anyone who would stand with Ash will face Cavallah's wrath!"

Ash's eyes widen at the mention of Cavallah's anger, but quickly close. "So you've found out the name of my employer, not surprising. But while I may currently be on the outer with that stick in the mud Cavallah, I still know all the important Daask agents in the city, and you are not any of them. You've made a terrible mistake intruding on this scene. Tell me who you are now, and I will make sure your death is quick." She nods to the two large forms next to her, who pull their Greataxes off their backs.
Elero puffs out his chest. "You are entering a world of pain with which you are not familiar, and I am the author of that...world! Have at you!"
He casts Catapult, flinging a suitable object, like a nearby chalice, or dish, or candle holder at Ash, who must make a DC 14 Dex Save or take 7 bludgeoning damage
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
I'd usually roll Initiative here but seeing as how you've already rolled your attack rolls and damage i'll just let y'all go first. Ash sees the spell being cast and swiftly nods to the two beside her, who raise their axes and drop their hoods, revealing the faces underneath. Two Orcs with their tusks barred in anger, their bald skulls tattooed with red skulls. "Earn your keep orcs!" She yells at them, as she begins to prepare her own spell, but is hit with the arrow and must try to dodge the Catapult.
DC 14 DEX Save: 5
Eric and Kit are up. Four cultists stand in front of you, while two orcs charge from behind them. Ash stands in the middle of the ballroom with the young Caden Orien captured, while 4 more cultists stand right in front of you with daggers drawn.

He will wait and hope to focus and see where the leader is and where the kid is. (I don't know what to do next)
(maybe tell us what you've seen)

And the rest of the party is awaiting to hear what he's discovered from his sneak to the bathroom.

Ok, we're going in. Maybe Mark will hear that and we'll hit them from two fronts, and he can get a sneak attack in.
(sorry irl stuff but I am back)
Mark moves defly to the others and relays what he sees and says, "We should move quickly and save the boy."

Wow, what a terrible 3d8 roll.
The moment she begins talking and nods, Mark will let his shot fly.

Wow, that's a lot of bad guys. How hurt does Ash look after taking that 7 HP damage?
Not very. Can you all remind what followers you have out? I'm just making up the battle mat now.
I've got the protector eldritch cannon near me.
