Clenching her hands together to keep the prepared sphere down, she stops. It's time. Slowly opening her hands up to give the ball some access, the fires it off into a ringing explosion of deafening might.
Emilia casts shatter, using her Channel Divinity to deal the maximum damage instead of rolling. With the higher spell slot, the Beast should take 32 thunder damage. She makes sure this Channel Divinity is with the use of her amulet of the devout to not expend one of her uses.
A ringing sounds explodes around the beast, as the sheer force of the sound and explosion tears the beast apart. It is dead. You are now out of initiative. You should probably keep running away from the hungry pack of warp-beasts hunting you. Demetrius calls out you from the top of the hill as he makes his way down the slope
"It seems as if that was an advance scout. Come ON!"

You keep running, farther and farther, until you burst onto a road. In the distance is the village of Rorc, the wizard tower stretching over it, casting a shadow in the morning sun. You are so close, so close! 100 yards, 75 yards, 50 yards, 25 yards 10...
And then the pack dashes out of the woods. They surround you, infected jaws snapping hungrily. The large pack leader steps forward, its eyes glinting. Unlike the rest of them, its eyes are a glowing blood-red. like rudolph the red-nosed reindeer glowing. It steps forward as the guards on the walls, of which their are only a few, cry out in surprise.
"Hah! foolish humanoids, yiub thought you could outrun us? Well, my boys are hungry, and you will make a tasty meal. at least, some of you will" it cackles with a pointed look at Beshlog and Artun. "Tell me boys, are you hungry?" The other beasts howl in response "Then lets eat!"
To be totally honest, you aren't going to get out of this fight alive by fighting. Unless you do something, these things will TEAR you to shreds.
