Her staff and eyes beginning to sparkle with pink energy and dark strands Korbiña holds her staff firmly and with a last tender look at Sceilie "Just stay close to me. I will pyotect you. And don't be scared by anything you see or feel about me. There has not one jail been created in the multiverse that is impossible to break." With that she takes Sceilie's hand firmly giving it a reassuring squeeze and hurries with her towards the town square at the gate.
You all see the bloodied, battered figure shamble towards you as he looks up. Thaux's eyes dart from side to side as he slowly approaches the group, weary of where he is. You see him holding a makeshift spear in one hand as he looks up to the rest of you and says in draconic "Where the hell am I?"
[Also ya boi is back from the dead, had some shit to deal with but now I'm ready to tango.]
Lelantus let's go " shit sorry. We need to get you to a healer." And with that lelantus walks thaux straight to the healer.
It's not difficult to do. Serescal is the designated healer. He stands twenty feet away, closer to the chapel than anything else. He does nothing. Noone does. Even Sceilie, whom herself had even been asked to alert others remains where she stood previously, nervously fidgeting. They all continue to stand at attention, watching beyond the gate.
As they do, Thaux hears a familiar voice echo in his head. Everyone else hears only the rumble of thunder, but Thaux remembers. He knows what's coming.
[Korbiña, you have advantage on a Perception roll. If you get a 16 or higher, you also receive advantage on the subsequent Dex Save, 15 or higher. The rest of you can roll Perception as normal, but you're out of range and don't need a Dex Save.]
Both Thaux and Quartz are able to see it just before it happens. Korbiña, for all her preparedness, is caught woefully off guard. As soon as the voice pierces through everyone's minds, the front gate explodes in a wall of thunderous noise. The gates, and the tiefling standing before them, are thrown into the square, leaving Korbiña probe and pinned near Quartz beneath a section of that gate.
[Korbiña takes 4 points of force damage. She's prone and pinned until someone frees her with a Strength Check of 16 and she's able to roll a Strength Save of 12]
The villagers, once in a state of shock, now begin to kneel one by one. Beyond the inky black of the hole in village walls come heavy footsteps and a deep rolling grunt that only Thaux recognizes as His laughter. From the abyssal maw comes a single clawed hand, gripping the side of the splintered hole as it pulls its attached body through. The villagers gasp and cry in astonishment as their patron steps before them, and both Korbiña and Asher immediately recognize Him from the images they've seen of Him. He stands before them all, dwarfing even Quartz in height (8'7). His scales shine a deep golden sheen and His horns bear hues of bloody crimson. Clad in a voluptuous black iron plate, He stands menacingly before the party, a massive great axe in hand. His eyes, a luminous violet, stare coldly at the scene before Him.
When at last He speaks, it's not through spoken word. Rather, He is felt as His voice pierces the party's minds, a sensation reminiscent of thunder rumbling in a storm.
Korbiña, instead of struggling under the lump of wood that pins her down goes cold and calm... the crystal in her staff emitting a gentle, soft light, that blurrs before the eyes before it vanishes together with Korbiña, the lump of gate that lay on top of her crshing to the ground...
[Unless you say anything else, I'll assume she held onto her staff ... Korbiña uses a sorcery point to cast Misty Step without Verbal or Somatic components to move out from under the pile... in front of whete Sceilie stands or kneels, facing Him.]
"Incursion, you say? Rescue mission I say. We were sent here on behalf of a merchant, looking for his son. And we wonder if you might have seen him?"

The villagers expect an emissary, as does the party. Instead, only a lone figure stands in the gateway, disheveled, bruised and bare.
Thaux?
You all see the bloodied, battered figure shamble towards you as he looks up. Thaux's eyes dart from side to side as he slowly approaches the group, weary of where he is. You see him holding a makeshift spear in one hand as he looks up to the rest of you and says in draconic "Where the hell am I?"

The energy that had flared up in Korbiña's eyes and staff dies down as she realizes who's standing there
"Sceilie, can you fetch your healer?"
Korbiña storms past Thaux with a quick "...in safety for now" to secure the gate behind him...
Lelantus runs and envelopes thaux in a bear hug tears streaming down his face
"Well, look what the car dragged in." Quartz jests, an unexpected broad smile now replacing the scowl he wore a moment prior.
"Good to have you back, friend."
You see the reptilian look up to quartz and say while wheezing, "Good be back, rib broken. Can't. Breath."
Lelantus let's go " shit sorry. We need to get you to a healer." And with that lelantus walks thaux straight to the healer.

("IMNOBUS.")
[ok 7.]
Perception check: 23
If check is 16+, Dex Save: 16
Otherwise, Dex Save: 13
[Gonna wait for the others, but just wanted to say "oof."]
[Asher still has a few days to respond.]
Quartz Perception 9
5
[In the spirit of moving things along, I'll roll for Asher in the hopes that he returns soon.]
Asher Perception: 3

("Who among you leads this incursion?")
Lelantus jumps in front of thaux and once again draws his blades
