Korbiña, instead of struggling under the lump of wood that pins her down goes cold and calm... the crystal in her staff emitting a gentle, soft light, that blurrs before the eyes before it vanishes together with Korbiña, the lump of gate that lay on top of her crshing to the ground...
[Unless you say anything else, I'll assume she held onto her staff ...]
"It's really more leadership by quorum than a hierarchy, actually." Quartz replies, "at least that's been my observation."
The towering figure turns His attention to the Firbolg, their eyes locking. As he is the one that answered, he is the one the Draconic titan addresses. A rumble once more passes through their minds.
("And in this instance, do you speak for the others? Or is it the pink stock?")
His head jerks to indicate Korbiña, though His cutting words suggest His inclination is more of an insult than anything.
[I have no armor, no weapons (except for my crappy sharpened stick), none of my original stuff and missing some of my HP and spell slots. Sounds like a fair fight, let's tango.]
"Every one of us speaks for themselves, but maybe that's a concept that you don't understand. Like so many other things in the world."
[She tosses Thaux a sheathed dagger from her belt]
"You have built up a domain of oppression and fear instead of a thrieving one. So what do you want from us now? I suggest you go back to where you dwell and wait for us until we are ready for a visit."
[Korbiña takes a ready action to go on full defense if she is being attacked]

[Oh, it's not a fair fight, period. A bunch of level 3s vs a lvl 12? Ha. Ha, I say. But this doesn't have to end in a fight, per say...]

That did it. He draws back his lips, revealing rows of red teeth on black gums. With a snarl he puts thoughts to word, rather than the other way around. Where his inner voice rumbled and reverberated, his true voice booms and roars:
"Fear? O' child of brimstone and shadow, for what we have seen, you don't know what fear truly is! But do not fret, for I will teach you!"
[Roll Initiative, and be ready. This is one of four "BBEGs" you'll face in this story. For your first time, he won't be using advanced buffs, high-level spells, or minions. But that doesn't make him a pushover, either.]
The titanic warrior takes up his axe and begins to step forward. His eyes blaze for Korbiña.
The warrior now shines bright in the dark. He seems fixated on Korbiña, regardless.
[All party members now have advantage on hit rolls. The closest villager is Sceilie, currently kneeling behind Korbiña, at least 30 feet from the towering Dragonborn]
[At least 40ft. You're at the rear of the group, nearest to the village elder. Lelantus is currently protecting you, which might I add is just adorable (sorry, it is).]
[Ok just gonna move up 30ft and then attack big guy next turn.]
Pushing past Lelantus, Thaux strides forth, eager to pay back this monster some due retribution. As he does so, the lumbering hulk of bestial strength and wicked zealotry charges forth, eager to deal a devastating blow onto the sorceress before Him.
[To hit: 12 Damage: 10]
The swing misses her by mere inches, cleaving the ground before her. Sceilie flinches at the impact, her arms wrapping tightly around the tiefling's waist. Below her breath, Korbiña can hear the young woman praying mercy to the brute that towers before her.
[To hit: 14 Damage: 8]
The second hit finds it's mark, the broad blade of the axe sinking into her leg.
[The sheet I'm using for him says you'd need to roll a Strength save of 12 or be knocked back 10 feet, but since he's nerfed, I'm going to break that down a bit. Roll a Strength save of 6 or more to avoid being thrown.]

Quartz will cast faerie fire on the scaly behemoth.
(Hoping I can avoid allies in the AoE. Ok if bystanders get shiny, though)
