Daewen, ever the opportunist, spotted a gap in the chaotic dance of battle. The hulking owlbear, its feathery body matted with blood, was momentarily distracted by Dorah. Seizing her chance, she weaved through the fray, her movements a blur of focused determination. Heart pounding a fierce rhythm against her ribs, she closed the distance with the lumbering beast. With a well-practiced lunge, she brought her first rapier singing through the air, aiming for a soft spot beneath the owlbear's feathered breastplate. Before the creature could react, she unleashed a second, lightning-fast strike, the tip of her other rapier glinting as it sought a vulnerable point on the owlbear's flank. A deadly dance of steel and fury, Daewen poured her skill and strength into the blows, hoping to fell the monstrous creature before it could turn its fury on her companions.
