Jyin's challenge hung heavy in the air, and Daewen didn't hesitate. A snarl ripped from her throat as she charged, her magical rapier a blur of silver and glowing runes. It pierced the wraith with a faint hum, momentarily disrupting its form. Without missing a beat, her other hand lashed out, the enchanted dagger (a temporary gift from Jyin!) finding its mark with a sizzle. A shriek of pure agony tore from the wraith as a tear ripped through its spectral form. Daewen pressed on, her focus unwavering – this monstrosity wouldn't find solace in the shadows tonight.

OOC: Oops, forgot her Dread Ambusher attack, which she gets in the first round of every combat. Additionally, I forgot to add sneak attack damage (assuming Jyin and Daewen are fighting right next to each other).
Mormesk becomes outraged, "You people will ruin everything." Then it attacks Jyin with malice.
Wraith Life Drain, Attack: 20 Damage: 11, on hit make a Con Save DC 14
Life Drain. Melee Weapon Attack:+6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 21 (4d8 + 3) necrotic damage. The target must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or its hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the damage taken. This reduction lasts until the target finishes a long rest. The target dies if this effect reduces its hit point maximum to 0.
“You are the one who is ruined!” Wilhorn says with waning confidence seeing the wraith take on the full force from his team and seemingly no worse for wear.

Daewen's strikes found their mark, the magical weapons tearing into the wraith's spectral form. Yet, the creature's resistance was undeniable. A flicker of annoyance crossed her features, but it was quickly replaced by steely determination. This wraith might be resilient, but it wouldn't withstand her relentless assault. With renewed focus, she launched another furious attack, her rapier a shimmering streak aimed for the wraith's core. Without pause, her dagger followed suit, a silver blur striking true once more. Daewen pressed the advantage, her attacks relentless, her goal the complete eradication of this malevolent spirit.
Wilhorn rushes to Jyin, “Mormesk got ahold of you. Are you alright?”
He tries to inspect him to look for lingering necrotic damage.
”Perhaps we should barricade ourselves in here for a long rest. We still have whatever Mormesk was afraid of to dispatch and who knows how many more rooms to clear as well as find Gundren’s brother.”
Wilhorn offers Jyin 2 of the 3 Goodberries he is carrying.
”One is enough for me as a meal, but take these. I’m sure Daewen and Vex can conjure more for tomorrow.”
(Am I mistaken? I thought both Daewen and Vex had Goodberry prepared. Maybe Wilhorn is not carrying any Goodberries because they only last 24 hours and I presumed he was getting 3 at the start of each long rest.)
”I can also offer what healing talents I have knowing they’ll be refreshed on the morrow.”
Wilhorn channels Healing Light thrice from his Celestal Warlock pact and bathes Jyin first and Daewen second in a soothing and mending aura. (1+6 hp healed for Jyin and 3 hp healed for Daewen)
He then casts Cure Wounds on Jyin for 7 more hp of healing.
(I think that puts Jyin at 29/31 and Daewen at 35/39. I think Vex is uninjured.)
Everyone should have full hp, including Dorah, I think Jyin had three 1st level slots left, so he could heal Dorah and himself to full before sleeping to get all slots back.
Everyone just give a quick description of your direction, the Spell Forge is one room over north of here and you've been warned that there is a "monster" guarding it.
Wilhorn will use the glass staff to cast Mage Armor on himself, as he has become accustomed to doing each adventuring day. He then takes up a position behind the bigger folk but one that lets him see beyond them.
What kind of monster could frighten a wraith? This should be very interesting, he thinks to himself.
Wilhorn also is missing Drool. He wishes there had been a way to bring him along. Well, hopefully they will be reunited soon. Hope Gundren is taking good care of him.

Jyin, noticing your concern says, "He's safer with the others. Now let's clear out this forge!"
As we approach the room to the north, is it visible that there are closed/open/no doors? Wilhorn is trying to time a Bless just before we encounter the monster.
Wilhorn unleashes an Eldritch Blast at the wraith wizard.

(XP? Really hoping we can level up before the final boss fight. Anything magical this wraith had hiding?)
