ROUND ONE

PORTIA 18 MAMA RAT 15 (D) RAGDOR 11 MEEPO 6 GLYNT 5 XANTH 3 RAT 1 ONE(-) TWO(-) THREE(-) FOUR(-)

PORTIA reacts quickly and runs up to the MAMA RAT.  The Rogue slashes into the bloated rodent.  (No sneak as no one else was engaged before PORTIA.)

The MAMA RAT attacks PORTIA. ATT 11  DMG 4

RAGDOR moves in and tries to hit the MAMA RAT with his Warhammer, but stumbles on something moving within the thick nest of filth and refuse.

MEEPO moves in behind PORTIA produce a ball of fire it his palm.  He hurls it at the MAMA RAT.  ATT 14   DMG 3

GLYNT takes a shot with his bow.  The arrow sticks into the huge rodent.

XANTH goes into a fit of Rage and attacks the MAMA RAT, delivering a killing strike against the bloated rodent.

Then from all around four GIANT RATS come out of their hiding places within the mounds of filth and refuse to attack the party.

The first one attacks XANTH ATT 8 DMG 4

The second moves out from under RAGDOR and attacks the Cleric.  ATT 22 DMG 4

The third one goes after PORTIA ATT23  DMG 4

And the fourth one goes after MEEPO  ATT 11 DMG 4

(Go ahead with your ROUND TWO actions.)

(The MAMA RAT delivered a critical bite on PORTIA for 8 points of damage.  PORTIA needs to make a CON SAVE.)

MEEPO lets out a Draconic Cry.  He then grips his spear and attacks the fourth GIANT RAT.  ATT 19  DMG 6

(Everyone except GLYNT has ADVANTAGE on your next attack.)

EDIT:  MAMA RAT's bite will drop PORTIA to 0 HPs and unconsciousness.  The third rat attacks MEEPO instead.  PORTIA is not dead and is stable.  She will still need to make a CON SAVE.  MEEPO is hurt but up.

Xanth attacks

Attack Rat 3: 11 Damage: 9

Offhand Attack: 24 Damage: 8

Glynt will use his bonus action to cast Healing Word on Portia: 5

He will then take a shot at Giant Rat 1 with his bow...

Attack : 20   Damage (if hit):  5

Con save: 13 (Despite being healed, as I am early in initiative, I will be spending my round 2 unconscious but provided no rats decide to make sure I stay down, I do have 4 health to attack with next round)

Just for clarity I moved myself slightly on the map to get a line of sight for my shot on Giant Rat 1 (which probably missed anyway).

ROUND TWO

RAGDOR casts Healing Word on lady PORTIA.

MEEPO lets out a Draconic Cry inspiring his allies. Then pokes a GIANT RAT with his spear.

GLYNT quickly gives PORTIA some additional healing.  He then fires an arrow at one of the GIANT RAT but his shot sticks into a pile of filth.

With PORTIA down but coming around, XANTH slashes into one of the GIANT RATs with his Glaive killing it. He then whirls around and strikes the GIANT RAT that MEEPO poked with the butt of his Glaive.  It dies as well.

The first GIANT RAT continues its attack on RAGDOR.  ATT 15 DMG 4

The second one attacks XANTH ATT7  DMG 4

(Go ahead with ROUND THREE actions.)

(BTW- Portia made her CON Saving Throw.  I can't say enough how that is a good thing.)

Also, the party does not have Advantage from the Draconic Cry in the Third Round.

MEEPO breathing heavily, gives himself a cure.  Cure Wounds 7

Xanth attack the rat closet to him.

Off Hand Attack: 16 Damage: 7
