Mazra's Sunless Citadel Campaign

RAGDOR prays and receives a wave of healing.  A small portion rest upon the female Hobgoblin.  She wakes with a jerk.  And looks around at the party and her fallen Chief and comrades.

Speaking of that armor we are taking it right?

ERKY will talk gently to the female Hobgoblin.

She responds with, "Why should I help you?  You are here to kill us all anyway."

the armor? We can but we've got the signet ring. looking at Erky, Actually we're here looking for the other top side people that came down here, one of them wore that armor. While here we freed our friend here whom you where holding hostage.

Xanth will take the armor just in case. Let's not forget about the potion bottle, two vials

"We are not here to kill them. Maybe she could use this as a chance to become leader. We could help if she would be willing to help us."

ERKY tries to convince the female Hobgoblin that the party's purpose is to find what happened to the human's that had adventured into the Sunless Citadel and not to kill the inhabitants.

The female Hobgoblin offers a deal.  You let her live.  Return her jewelry.  Let her keep the Chief's potion, and she will tell you what she knows.  She may be able to make it possible for you to pass the Goblin areas without being molested by them as well.

Glynt will say in earshot of the Hobgoblin, in case she can understand common "I'm not interested in her jewellery, and not concerned about the potion and she's welcome to them - I just want to know what happened to Ms Hurculres children - it's not right for a mother to be so worried.  If she's not going to be reasonable and tell us maybe one of the Clerics can ask the Chief's corpse, it's the Goblin's who have been doing all the killing on the roads nearby so my charity only goes so far." 

(It sounds like Glynt agrees to the deal.  If the rest of the party agrees then she will tell you what she knows.)

I would like to know what the potion is be yes, I agree.

Xanth "This is agreeable. We did not come here to kill everything in sight."

The female Hobgoblin will say that Belak wanted all the living human prisoners sent down to him, but in a fit of anger, Chief Durnn slew one of them. The Chief sent the other two we captured down to the Twilight Grove.

(It is a healing potion.)

Portia looks at her new really nice jewellery. "Does the jewellery have to form part of the deal?" 

I've got a bad feeling about leaving her alive and in charge, but...anyways. Erky would she know another way down to this grove or do we have to climb down?

OOC - I could still use a short rest, I've got one spell slot free. I think we've got one scroll of healing and don't we still have a healing potion somewhere?

When it appears that the Halfling is not going to give her back her jewelry, the female Hobgoblin goes silent.

"Come on P we need to find out what happened and if there is some still alive, we need to know that to."

(BTW- Erky has used all his spells and would need a Long Rest to recover.)
