Kalamin grimaces (something he had found himself doing often lately) at the sight upon the wall. "I believe we've found the place,"he says, carefully and slowly approaching the gate to peer through. He looks back to the others to see if they're ready. If they have no last minute plans or ideas, then he leads the way in, clutching a bottle of the alchemist's fire in his hand.
Lyra puts her hand on the Selenic Knight's shoulder, forestalling him gently for a moment. Her voice is quiet, for once.
"Subtlety appears not to be our foe's strong suit, that seems certain from the slaughter it leaves in its wake. Yet perhaps we can discuss tactics before charging in ourselves. It is hard to know what to expect from an extraplanar aberration such as this Seidrach. Yet I suggest that in addition to hurling fire at it, if one of you can set a permanent area ablaze behind it, my magic allows me to blast even a fearsome target into such flames repeatedly."
She looks around to her companions for any other tactical ideas, painfully aware of how little they still know of each other.
Once any discussion is done, Lyra will sound a tiny chord on her harmonica, the minute melody seeming to wrap itself around her form.
(Casting Protection from Evil and Good on herself with a pact slot: for up to ten minutes while she maintains concentration, certain creature types, including fiends and aberrations, have disadvantage on attack rolls against her, and she cannot be possessed, charmed of frightened by them.)
"I have an extra bottle, I can make sure to set fire to the land behind it...But as you say, it's hard to know what to expect from this foe. He may have minions of his own we need to deal with." Ilya shifts, equal parts nervous and excited. Excited that they may finally end this plague upon the land. Nervous because they may just die trying.
"I don't know how mentally fortified Seidrach is, but I can try to keep him under control while you all lay into him."
"You unimaginative imbeciles, do you think there is any amount of plotting that would allow you to match me? I am Seidrach, you are nothing."
The sudden interruption takes you from your discussion. You look around for the source of the voice, confused. With a squelch, one of the bodies impaled on the wall begins to push itself off, and it speaks once more. "Kas t'vaz! Unwashed ones, I will nail you to the wall with the rest of these heathens."
Four more corpses begin to move with jerky, unsettling movements, pushing themselves off the stakes that have them impaled to the outer wall. Two of the walking corpses begin to undergo something of a transformation, as the fingers of their hands crack and extend, reforming into long clawed weapons.
A sharp chord from Lyra's dark harmonica cuts through the Seidrach's disembodied tirade as she completes her casting of Protection from Evil and Good.
"Such an inspiration, naming us 'unwashed' while you wear the flesh of your victims. Somehow this talk of meat puppets fails to sway me from remaining a 'heathen' in the esteemed eyes of your silly creed. You claim we are nothing? Well then. Perhaps you have nothing to fear."
The bard's words seem oddly uplifting despite the grisly scene. Bardic Inspiration to Glyptemis.
To her companions in a tight whisper. "These may be merely thralls we see before us. Perhaps we save our fire for the real target?"
Enjoying the lightness of Terryn's newly-crafted breastplate, Lyra lopes northwest and raises her free hand to send (now two beams) of jet black energy at the long-clawed thrall to the left, aiming to blast it back through the based-open gate of the structure. Then she steps back south.
Bonus Action: Bardic Inspiration to Glyptemis.
Movement: 20'-25' NW to get an angle to push the long-clawed thrall on the left back ENE through the bashed-open gate. Remaining movement S.
Action: Lyra sends two beams of her Eldritch Blast at the long-clawed thrall to the left. Eldritch Blast first beam to hit: 26 Eldritch Blast first beam damage: 12 (force) Forced Movement (Repelling Blast) on hit: long-clawed thrall blasted back ENE through gate 10'
Eldritch Blast second beam to hit: 17 Eldritch Blast second beam damage: 6 (force) Forced Movement (Repelling Blast) on hit: long-clawed thrall blasted back ENE further through gate 10'
(Lyra has the effects of Protection from Evil and Good on her. She also has reaction spells available and may use them).
The clawed flesh husk is flung backwards through the gate by Lyra's arcane assault, each beam breaking bone and flesh in its torso. A low thrum emanates from Glyptemisas he begins his Bladesong, drawing a scimitar and hurling himself at the nearest long-clawed thrall. Green flames dance along the blade as he cuts through its flesh, searing the wound.
"You'll scream for mercy with that insolent tongue of yours!" Seidrach Karvas screeches from the mouth of the husk Lyrahad sent flying to the gate, it dashes forward to get back to her.
The first arrow catches the flesh husk in the chest. LT readies another arrow, sending into the eye socket of the same creature. It falls to its knees, appearing as if it might go down...And then by some burst of fortitude, it pulls the arrow from its eye and stands up once more.
Razor sharp claws rake against Glypas the husk in front of him slashes him twice, while the other raised corpse shuffles around behind him, slamming its fist down harmlessly on his shell.
Claw Attack 1(Glyptemis): 19 to hit Claw Attack 2 (Glyptemis): 21 to hit, 8 damage
Ilya has no quips to hurl back at the monstrosity. For so many weeks, so many nights this thing has been a plague upon the land, upending the lives of everyone in this region. It was time for it to be ended.
She darts forward, drawing the rapier from her belt and slipping it in between the ribs of the long-clawed husk threatening Lyra.
Kalamin runs straight up the center, slashing the undead corpse that was threatening Glyptemis' back before pivoting to the left. The polearm spins in his hands as he opens up two attacks against one of the walking dead who had yet to act, once with the blade and once with the blunt end of the weapon.

Ilya'srapier pierces the thing's flesh, and again it beings to fall...Then it draws in a shuddering breath, eyes glowing red as it simply refuses to go down.
The Selenic knight's polearm dances through the air as Kalaminmoves across the battlefield, striking each foe in quick succession.
Two of the shambling corpses move towards him and his glaive strikes out once more, catching on across the lower abdomen. They surround him and try to pound him with their fists, but he avoids the attacks.
"You'll scream for mercy with that insolent tongue of yours!" Seidrach Karvas screeches from the mouth of the husk Lyrahad sent flying to the gate, it dashes forward to get back to her.
"Such a charmer. Truly a way with the ladies. Is this your usual recruiting pitch, then? Might need a little fine tuning..."
Her sardonic quips aimed to undercut the dire threat of necromancy facing the party, Lyra grants KalaminBardic Inspiration (1d6 in next 10 mins).
Still concentrating on Protection from Evil and Good, Lyra calmly steps back five feet (SE), incurring an opportunity attack from the clawed creature facing her. (Attacks from several creature types, including undead, have disadvantage against her, and she has defensive reaction spells available).
After gaining enough distance to be out of melee (just north of LT?), Lyra lets another two jet black beams fly as her irises flicker to black. The first is at the clawed creature she stepped away from. If it remains standing, so is the second, but if it goes down, then aiming at the other clawed creature.
Movement: First 5' SE, incurring an opportunity attack from the clawed creature to her north, hopefully at disadvantage, thanks to Protection from Evil and Good. Then 25' more East after attacks below.
Bonus Action: Lyra grants Bardic Inspiration to Kalamin.
Action: Eldritch Blast, first beam against clawed creature to her north, and second beam either the same, or at other clawed creature if first is down.

Kalamin and Glyptemis currently have Bardic Inspiration (1d6 to be used in next 10 minutes).
Glyptemis, his limbs lengthened and his motions fluid, lifts an arm to deflect the claws swiping at him as a spectral shell flashes between them ( casts Shield as a reaction, blocking the attack that would have hit )
He reaches back, sliding the scimitar into its sheath, and in its place he pulls a Shadow Blade out, its dark tendrils stretching through the air in an arc before snapping into place and forming a deadly sharp edge. The blade bursts with a fiery green energy as Glyptemis slashes deftly at the husk in front of him.
BA: Shadow Blade Action: Green Flame Blade w/ Shadow Blade: (17+1 from BI) 18 to hit for 13 psychic damage, 6 fire damage
The clawed husk misses as Lyraskirts out of its range, dark energy gathering in her hand. She releases the blast back at it, hitting it with such force that the limbs are blown from its torso. There will be no coming back this time. Her second beam strikes the clawed creature in combat with Glyptemis, cracking ribs along its side.
On the other side of the fight, Glyptemisshadow blade cuts through the other husk, searing it with green fire. It too falls, unable to power through the damage wrought by the magically enchanted blade.
Leftenantholds his ground for now, marking the undead opposite Kalamin. With two quick flourishes he sends two arrows flying: one into the creature he marked, and another into the one behind Glyptemis.
