The night passes uneventfully. You wake in the morning and make your way back down the Slopes toward the Dim Wood, mark off a Long Rest.
Dedear sort of joins the ranks again of his dwarven friends. Although he's much more jovial with you all as you walk away from the mines, having trauma bonded with you all. Yuddic seems somewhat pissed about this, but holds his tongue, knowing that he owes his life to you all.
I'll need another random encounter roll of a d6 for the day approaching the Dim Wood.
[[ Draíocht would've spent the remaining 1st level spell slot on Goodberry, keeping the 2nd level in case of an encounter, so going to adjust his current goodberry count to 10. Think he'll also swap out Heat Metal for Moonbeam. ]]
And you make your way through the Dim Wood with no hassle either. You're forced to set up camp in the wood overnight, the canopy hanging above you eerily dark for the whole day. Please roll another d6 for a night time encounter.
The dwarves seem quite impressed with your workmanship. Yuddic is more morose tonight, "I should never had led you all to the mine; never worked with damn hobgoblins in the first place. It's just that work is all dried up here, especially for us demihumans. Perhaps once this is over we'll move on, back to the dwarven kingdoms... or even further away."
Amiz nods "That sounds like a plan Yuddic. Staying in place where you can't make any coin to feed your family means it is time to move to greener pastures."
Yuddic nods, "Perhaps you sellswords have the right idea. No family or strings tying you down, not needing to care about anyone." He bashes his fist into the soft earth. "Damn this cursed land. Damn Kholias, i'm leaving once we sort out this mess I made."
And the dwarves follow behind you. After a Long Rest, you know you're only another day from Erithon, please roll two d6s for me. One for a daytime encounter, one for night time.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Draíocht listens to Yuddic's laments about what he's done. "Leaving for a while could be good. Sometimes you need a retreat to reflect on who you are."
Despite the dangers you've faced in the Dim Wood in the past, it seems that there's nothing out there at the moment to block your path. Maybe your frequent forays into the woods and the hills behind are making a difference... maybe. After another night in the Wood, you once again come out of the foliage and see the now familiar sight of Erithon. Yuddic turns to you, "Will we go immediately to Adger? Or can I have some time to pack up before I go?"
If no one has an issue with that plan. Yuddic will lead the way back to Erithon
Amiz is fine with heading back to Erithon. Once its morning "Let's get going before more trouble finds us"
Draíocht is also fine with heading back to Erithon, "We'll be able to restock there before heading out once more."

Alrighty, you stay the night a little away from the mine. Can someone please roll me a random encounter with a d6 please?

Draíocht will once again wildshape into a giant badger to create makeshift earthworks. He also expends his spell slots on goodberries.

Thelanis agrees with the course of action to return to the mine after restocking in Erithon.

Thelanis looks at the others, unsure if Yuddic is trying to avoid Adger for nefarious reasons.

"What's in Adger, if I may ask," states Valar. "Thought we were going to restock and head back to the mine."
