Well wherever you all stay, you have a comfy night and get yourselves a Long Rest. Additionally, you all wake up with renewed energy and skills having travelled as far as you have and clearing out a majority of the mine. You all level up to Level 4!
In the morning you all wake up to hear the town abuzz about 'adventurers' arriving from over the Slopes and through the Dim Wood. It takes you a few moments to realise they aren't referring to you but to some other group that arrived early in the morning, and that Adger is meeting with them in the Constable's Quarters currently.
Amiz also stays at the Inn as the comfort of a bed and well-cooked meal does much to ease the discomforts, he has gathered from his travels with Yuddic. "Oh, adventurers that is not us. They must have some kind of reputation. Let's go take a look"
[[ For the ASI, took the Skill Expert feat. (Homebrew copy.) Got proficiency in Stealth and expertise in Perception plus +1 WIS. Also added mold earth to Draíocht's cantrips when I realized I'd mixed up my characters and that his earlier usage of the cantrip was... before he had the cantrip... (whoops!) ]]
Draíocht spends the early morning on a log outside the Shepley barn doing some woodwork to carve little figurines of the party members. After the sun begins to rise he heads into town and meets up with the others. When Amiz suggests seeing the new adventurers he says, "They certainly seem more excited about them than us." He's inclined to agree with meeting the newcomers.
Alaine gives Draíocht and whoever else stays at the farm a warm welcome. She doesn't seem to care at all about your elf ancestry and gives you a hug, "Of course you can stay here anytime." She get's her father to make you up a basket with simple bread and fruit for dinner. Colton Shepley himself is still a bit standoffish but smiles warmly enough when he brings the food. Alaine gives you as much space as you want, but if you wanted to talk to any of the Shepleys they would be happy to talk to you. The barn is warm and smells somehow pleasantly of dung to your elven nose.
Wrovak gives those who stay at The Proud Stag a warm enough welcome as well. Ale, roast meat, and cozy beds make your night pass easily.
When you all make your way to the Constable's you find Adger in a conversation with three people, one of which you've met before. Liarona, the wood elf Starsinger (bard) that you rescued from the goblin cave a week ago. She is accompanied by two other unusual characters: a tall elf with silver hair and a sword at is belt, and a short halfling with messy brown hair and a constant smile on his face. Liarona perks up when you walk in, "I was hoping you were all still in town. Could you please help me convince Adger here to do the right thing and lend us her support?" Adger has a frown on her face and her arms crossed.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
[[Thelanis has leveled.]]
Thelanis speaks, " We've got a working relationship with Adger that is pretty dicey and based on proven results and work. While Adger might want to consider that her choice to trust us was rewarded, I don't want to risk the trust we do have on two people I've never met and one person I've met once."

Liarona looks at you all strangely, as if a bit confused as to why you're all lending your help and not just Draíocht. She sighs and explains herself, "I am on a very important mission from my leader... The Scarecrow." Adger snuffs angrily at this admittance, but Liarona goes on, "He has sent me to talk with the Fallen Elves of Ish Alora, who have taken up residance near Kholias, next to the site of their great city's downfall. I was to negotiate a renewal of our alliance, but this time not to destroy the humans, but to save them; and all of the people of Alaria. The Scarecrow wishes to lead a group of soldiers into Kholias and find what is at the heart of the darkness, and, with the Fallen Elves' help, put an end to it." She looks at her two companions, "This elf is Prince Lukian Eldari, he was sent by the Fallen Elves to hear out The Scarecrow, if the meeting goes well he has the authority to commit the Fallen elves to our cause." The tall elf puts his nose up, not commiting to anything yet. Liarona gestures at the halfling, "And this is Erret Stonefoot, he was living with the Fallen Elves in their camp. He is one of the few people who have entered Kholias since the Cataclysm and come out alive. He will serve as our guide if we do enter Kholias." The halfling keeps his smile on and shakes hands with you all, "Pleased to meet yas."
Liarona then gestures to Adger, "I have asked the constable here to provide us with an escort to The Great Wild. We have suffered much hardship getting this far, and our mission is far too important to risk us getting ambushed by brigands or worse on the road." Adger pipes in, "And we have our own concerns, Hobgoblins in the Slopes, Necromancers prancing around the Dim Wood and beyond. We don't have the manpower to protect the village and escort a group of elves." Adger keeps her arms crossed. Liarona looks at you all pleadingly.
Valar looks to Thelanis, "We seem to be on the same path, same quest as these good people, should we not help them? I know we are to return to the mines, perhaps we can work out an accord to finish the mines, then perhaps be of assistance to them, to be their escort?"
Thelanis replies, "That's a different beast altogether. I'd be willing to stick my own neck out for that, just not committing Adger's resources. While we've done work for her, she's not our commander."

Draíocht adds on, "Indeed. And if a diplomatic meeting is sought, gifts often are a sign of friendship. The bugbear chief g'Ruek was mining elven artifacts. Ceasing that could boost chances." He says to Liarona, "Cousin, from what we heard he defiles the Greataxe of Amalkim by claiming it as his."
When Thelanis speaks he nods in agreement.
As Erret shakes hands his face softens with a smile. "And pleased to meet ye too, lad"he says in Halfling. Always a pleasure to see such folk.
At the mention of the axe, Prince Lukian's eyes widen with shock, "You mean to tell me you know of the whereabouts of the axe!? Of course we must have it! How did you find it?"
Do you tell these people everything you know about the mine and Wrorak g'Ruek?
Valar ops for the inn, and a good meal
You could also stay in different spots, that's not a problem. Where do Amiz and Thelanis choose to stay?

Valar asks, "What if we can recover the Greataxe, would that be a fitting present and a good step in diplomacy?"
Can either Valar or Draíocht roll a Persuasion check with Advantage for me.

Amiz was about to say no when he hears Valar's idea of getting the great axe. That is indeed a good idea where we can still head to the mine.
At the mention of the axe, Prince Lukian's eyes widen with shock, "You mean to tell me you know of the whereabouts of the axe!? Of course we must have it! How did you find it?"
Do you tell these people everything you know about the mine and Wrorak g'Ruek?
Anyone can do this btw, doesn't have to be Amiz.
Valar does not see in any harm in telling them the truth (being a paladin and all), and explains what they have found so far.
