If we are limited in time, then we need to make sure there is only one way in, and block the others so they are channeled and we're not fighting on more than one side. If time permits, Valar would like to make "punji" pits, quick holes, put the arrows down inside then cover the top so the eaters step on them, fall in and pierce their foot.
I’ll have Valar roll a DC 15 Survival check with advantage from Mold Earth (Rolled in Game Log): 16
Valar is able to quickly fashion punji pits for The Eaters when they arrive.
If no one else has any plans they want to enact, The Eaters exit the church.
The first two to come out of the church are the two you’ve met before, Jagar and Mycete. A dark Leonin wielding a Warhammer and a female Tiefling with amber mould covering her. They take up a position outside the church.
The next two to come out are a man and a woman of Niniashan ethnicity. The man has long hair and a moustache, he has a waxy hew to his skin and wields a mace and shield. His eyes are dark black. The woman has long black hair and sharp features, she wears long flowing dark blue robes and holds an ancient tome in her left hand. Alsen whispers, “Halorin Yandres and Lestheris Soldrei. She is the necromancer leader of this group and he is her eternal bodyguard. The commander of her growing undead legion”
The last figure to exit the church is a giant melted seeming monster. With many heads and limbs, all of which twitch in gruesome imitations of life. Alsen gasps in horror and puts his head in his hands and then mutters, “And that is what they call The Horror. The remains of my previous group, The Golden Valor. They’ve desecrated their corpses, in mockery of their bravery and sacrifice. My friends, how they dishonour your memory…” He swallows his sadness and looks up.
The necromancer Lestheris steps forward and yells at the inn, “We know who you are. We know what you accomplished in the mine. And we know you travel with that thorn in our side Alsen. I’m sure he’s told you many awful things about us, and let me tell you they are all true… and much worse. Come out of that inn and parlay with us and we may let you leave with your lives. Otherwise you will all die, and your corpses will be forfeit to us.” She stands with arms crossed, awaiting your reply.
Valar only cocks an eyebrow, "so that's who we are facing." He will try to commune with his god to gather strength for the coming fight, channeling divinity into his great sword-"Make this your instrument of justice," he intones.
Lestheris uncrosses her arms and scoffs, “Well if that’s the case, perhaps we’ll need to pry them out of there. Jagar, there should be plenty of departed around here for you to use.” The Leonin steps forward and grips an amulet on his necklace, “It would be my pleasure. Deimeier, my sweet god. Give me the bodies I need to ring these rats out their warren.” As he hold the amulet, it glows purple. And a moment later 4 skeletons form out of the earth and come running to the front door of the inn. Initiative:
Group 1: Amiz and Valar
Group 2: Skeletons
Group 3: Draíocht and Thelanis
Amiz and Valar are up. Four skeletons are running toward the front door of the inn where you set the punji pit traps.
Valar will wait until the skeletons are inside and funneled into the opening, before attacking, so there is only one in the door. Attack: (Assuming advantage in ambush?) Attack: 11 Damage: 13
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Both attacks miss the surprisingly agile skeleton. Amiz steps up and decapitates the skeleton, while Thelanis rushes to the pit and throws an Eldritch Blast at one of the other skeletons, blowing it to pieces.
The last skeleton climbs to the top of the pit and attacks Thelanis with a Shortsword:
Shortsword against Thelenis Attack: 17 Damage: 7 Piercing.
You all are up, 1 Skeleton remains and is attacking Thelanis at the edge of the pit.
The last skeleton is brutally smashed by Draíocht's staff. At the same time you see Jagar's amulet fade back to regular colour, he frowns and looks at Lestheris, "They set a trap.". She yells at you again, slightly more shrill now, "This is your last chance! Come outside or we come in!"

Draíocht could aid that with Mold Earth.

Amiz looks to the rafters to see if he can cut away at the supporting beam to potentially create a deadfall trap using his rope.
Valar will start making punji pits as quick but efficient as he can, making it difficult for the eaters to approach the one door.

Amiz throws a hand axe and lops the head off the first skeleton as it enters the room.
The other three skeletons runs right into the Punji pit, making DC 15 DEX Saves or falling into the pit and taking 2d6 Piercing Damage.
Skeleton 1: 4
Skeleton 2: 21
Skeleton 3: 8
Gotta roll the 2d6: 9
Skeleton 2 leaps over the pit as the others fall into the pit. It attacks Valar as his greatsword barely misses it:
Shortsword against Valar Attack: 6 Damage: 8 Piercing
You all are up. One Skelton fights Valar as the others are in the pit
Draíocht smiles at Valar's plan's effectiveness as the skeletons fall. Taking his staff in hand he joins the fight.
Bonus Action: Shillelagh
Attack @ Skeleton
To-Hit: 6+6 = 12
Damage: 1+4 = 5 magical bludgeoning

Valar continues to fight the skeleton: attack 11, damage 3
Both attacks miss the surprisingly agile skeleton. Amiz steps up and decapitates the skeleton, while Thelanis rushes to the pit and throws an Eldritch Blast at one of the other skeletons, blowing it to pieces.

Hoping to strike this one, Draíocht makes another attack with his staff.

To-Hit: 11+6 = 17
Damage: 6+4 = 10 magical bludgeoning
He looks in the distance, wondering if the Eaters have approached. "Are you all okay?" he asks the party.

If the remaining skeleton still stands: attack 8 (never mind...)
Amiz will us ready action to prepare his axe for the next foe to come over or out of the pit.
Battleaxe
Attack: 10 Damage: 10

Valar states, "Well, at least they are giving us a choice, I am all for letting them come in."
[[ How far away are the Eaters roughly? Thinking about how it would affect spells/ranged attacks' viability. ]]
"A sound plan." says Draíocht, smiling at Valar's words. He turns to Alsen, "Any light you can shed on their ranged capabilities?"
