The slack face is expressionless and the voice deadpan, but the corpse still manages to look clueless: "I don't know. It was like this when we got here."
The corses mouth doesn't move, but the voice still comes though: "I saw four bugbears. Told us to... stay away... from... the... lower levels." After croaking out that reply, the last semblance of life fades from the corpse and it lies still once more.
The corpse is in a bad shape, but you still recognize some claw-like bite marks in the flesh, having punctured the armor. The discoloration around it and your previous examination of the spider carcasses allows you to conclude that he probably died from a spider bite and the ensuing poison. The money pouch is empty.
IF Pisgah doesn't know about Xanathar and the Guild he says:
"Uhm, Nikk, you seemed to be shocked for a second when you heard about Xanathar's Guild. Bugbears aren't so bad. If this guild is just a bunch of bug bears and goblins well we can handle that."
Otherwise, he says
"Uhm, oh crap. Well, this will be fun. Should we go back and ask Harria how they have managed to be left alone?"
Pisgah hasn't heard of a guild with that name before.
On roll of history 13 you'd know the following (Jaya, on account of his years with the guard, automatically knows):
The Xanathar Guild is a criminal organisation operating in the caves, sewers and passageways under Waterdeep. They have their fingers in most of the significant underworld activity somehow. The name derives from the individual in charge of the guild, who stays in the shadows.
Xanathar, as far as all members of the guild are concerned, has always been in charge. It is a beholder of unknown age, operating out of a location called Skullport. The latter is a "city" located underneath Waterdeep, a veritable haven of scum and villainy.
“I’m good with the door at the far end, anything to get away from these webs! How do we safely trigger the magic of the door? Can we throw this dead body into the door?”
"We know that there are three doors that we haven't checked out on the way to the double doors with the magic trap. There is also this corridor leading south that may work it's way back around the chambers Harria's group occupies and lead back to the bottom of the Yawning Portal. Let's head down the south corridor and see where it leads. Then work our way back here, check out the three remaining rooms, and then pop open the doors that have the magic wards."
As you explore down the south corridor, you come across a few bends until you spot a door in the wall. Beyond that, the corridor continues around another corner, where a single humanoid skull is to be seen. Farther south, the corridor eventually stops in a dead end.
Pisgah (perception: 22): As you're confirming the way ahead to be clear of enemies, you spot an almost imperceptible outline on the northern wall of the dead end. Undoubtedly you just stumbled upon another secret door.

"Does. Durnan know. You're. Robbing people. Down. Here?"
He whistles for the others.
The corpse seems to pause for a moment and then says: "I don't know."
"Has your. Group. Found any. Magical. Items. Besides the. Listening. Horn?"
The corpse responds: "We found a magical pendant, but Uktarl sold it to buy better equipment. If they found more, I don't know of them."
Nikkitch suddenly has overwhelming regret in letting that fool go. Another thought comes to mind.
"Who. Killed the. Living Armor?"
The slack face is expressionless and the voice deadpan, but the corpse still manages to look clueless: "I don't know. It was like this when we got here."
That doesn't bode well.
"...How many of Xanathar's Guild did you see?"
The corses mouth doesn't move, but the voice still comes though: "I saw four bugbears. Told us to... stay away... from... the... lower levels."
After croaking out that reply, the last semblance of life fades from the corpse and it lies still once more.
Nikkitch shrugs and begins raiding the fool's pockets.
He also looks over the corpse, hoping to discern cause of death. If not the armor, then what?

On a history 17 you'd know:
Xanathar, as far as all members of the guild are concerned, has always been in charge. It is a beholder of unknown age, operating out of a location called Skullport. The latter is a "city" located underneath Waterdeep, a veritable haven of scum and villainy.
[History: 21] He replies in the coarse tone of the corpse:
"Know them. Made deals. Good. For. Magic acquisition."
The Kenku indicates his spellbook.
"This book. Was. Once. Empty. After all. They. Are. A. Problem."
After a long pause, Nikkitch continues. "I want. To. Open the. Door. On the. Far end. Of. The. Hall. The magic. On. It. Suggests something. Valuable."
History for extended Xanathars Guild: 18
“I’m good with the door at the far end, anything to get away from these webs! How do we safely trigger the magic of the door? Can we throw this dead body into the door?”
"Could. Always. Pay bandits. With. Their own. Gold."
Pisgah asks "Should we check out some of the other areas and doors before we go throw open the door on something that sounds big?"
"So. Long as. It. Isn't. Left behind."
"We know that there are three doors that we haven't checked out on the way to the double doors with the magic trap. "Works for me, Let’s head down the south corridor then!"
