Jahn just listens in silence to the bandit and to what Ulysse found. "Then I guess Croaker Cave it is." They'd say aloud, looking Doter. "So we take her to the guard then to the cave?"
Doter rubs the back of his head, "Well, she did help us with some information..."
Trailing off, he looks at the robber then back to all the stuff broken in the shop and finally says "...I'm not opposed to letting her go. Hulil can pay for the damages to the shop and, if we absolutely must, we can find her again if needed."
He looks over to Jahn, "besides, we've no idea how much time we have before the next victim falls. We need to figure this icy death as soon as possible."
Making his way to the main area of the store, Ulysse hears Doters remarks and has a thought. "My friendsss I think we are misssing the fact that we are all on the ssame sside. We are here trying to ssave Tulgi in fact. Go on and sshow her the dagger sshe gave us. Regardlesss we are here trying to do the ssame as you, perhapss we can work together, ssince it appears you need a new sset of comradess after our... missundersstanding. Let us find what we can and perhapss we can help Hulil. We wish to ssee thesse stolen goods to determine what iss the root cause of the affliction. Knowing the cause could lead to the cure." He moves to prosper his hand to the elf, winking at Doter as he moves past. "I musst apologize for my friendss, they are quick to act and we are in a but of a hurry as you well know. What is your name?"
Spare the dying wouldn’t work, since they are already dead. The bandits were not particularly powerful or special in any way, so I decided not to give them death saves.
You would need revivify for that, which you will get at level 5, as a life cleric.

The elven bandit slowly lifts her chin to meet Ulysse’s gaze. Her face shows a strange mixture of defiance, stoicism, and fear. Hesitantly, she says, “My name is… Valanthe.”

Ariakara finally speaks up, looking at the bandit with a much softer expression. "Why did Hulil think there would be anything helpful here? When Tulgi robbed the place prior, do you know what all was taken, and what of that was given to Hulil?"
She looks to Jahn and the others. "I think Ulysse is right. We're working towards the same goal. Bringing Valanthe with us, especially if we're going to Croaker Cave where the rest are hiding out, could be helpful."

Valanthe: “Tulgi only took the relics that Urgon Wenth brought back from his adventures, giving all but a dagger to Hulil. After coming down with the affliction, she sent us here, to see if there was anything to cure it, being a shop of strange relics and oddities.”
Listening to Ariakara talk to the others, she interjects. “Uh, what makes you think I’m going to come willingly after you just cut down FOUR of my comrades in cold blood?”

Jahn just keeps quiet in this specific situation and just continued to keep the bandit pinned. Jahn wished to simply compromise the bandits, but they couldn't speak or control these strangers that they're currently with.
Though, Jahn would eye the bodies of the bandits to see if they were armed in some way.

Jahn would notice that each bandit had a scimitar in a scabbard at their hip, and a light crossbow and a quiver of bolts strapped to their back.

When Valanthe mentions us cutting down the others, Doter chimed in, "You didn't exactly give us a choice. It wasn't like you were in here watering the flowers. Had we been the authorities, you'd all be dead or in chains."
"You ssee, as I mentioned before, we are in a bit of a time crush and we can be very efficient when the ssituation calls. You ssurrendering was the only reason we gave you the chance to explain. Now you present us with a meanss to be more efficient when visiting the cave. So for this, we are offering you the privilege to accompany us, an opportunity most are not offered. But we understand if you feel loyalty to your, comradess, desspite their current sstatuss and proven worthynesss." Ulysse looks around at the group. "But we are in a hurry so do descide your fate. Join your comradess or continue to help you employer by working with us to find the cure."
You find the entrance to Croaker Cave on the shores of the Frigid Depths, north of Palebank Village. As the you draw close to the cave entrance, they see frequent signs of tracks where bandits have been coming and going. However, there are no signs of patrols or guards. A plume of smoke rises from the ground beyond the cave entrance.
The slow dripping of water sounds out where it falls from stalactites down into a murky pool that fills the rough tunnel ahead. Every few moments, a loud croaking sounds out from somewhere in the darkness beyond.
With darkvision, Boil and Ariakara can see a 25-foot-long heavy wooden beam lying against the west wall of the cave at the south end the pool.
Everyone make a perception check, with disadvantage if you don't have darkvision.

Valanthe: “Well, there would be three of my own inside, as well as Hulil and her apprentice. Croaker Cave also gets its name from the resident ‘giant ice frogs’ that live here. Most of them are about five feet long, but the biggest one, who we call ‘Old Croaker’ measures around ten feet. We’ve domesticated them and use them as guard animals, but they shouldn’t attack you if I escort you.”
As she says this, with those perception checks, Jahn and Boil, you both see two large dark shapes in the murky pool ahead of you. (Rolled a natural 1 and 3 for their stealth checks)

Jahn would smile toward the shadows, assuming them to be the frogs in-question. They'd squeeze the bandits shoulder in approval and let go. Jahn would not have their shield equipped. "After you."

Boil looks around “thould me bing them back ta lithe” everyone understands he is asking if he should bring them back to life?
Ooc: Can I even cast spare the dying right now? Or should I?
Boil turns and says “me can make one unkilled…..yes?”
