The huge paladin, built a strange mix of man and orc, with strange elongated arms that seem bugbear in nature smiles. "Well met friend Grudak and Wysaleth. They call me Captain Sparhawk. Kos and I have been traveling for quite some time, to find a cavern where a person named Iggwilv created a Demonomicon. A rift in planes and worlds has brought us all together here, the source of these trouble. Now, Demons, Giant reptiles (dinosaurs), he pulls his great sword out from his back, a strange weapon indeed with teeth or claws on the hilt that act as guards, and other got like creatures" he looks at Kos, "Are invading our planes. We must find the source and stop it. At the same time, some of you may find items and treasures that have been lost in the caverns for ages and are worth a fortune, but that is not my concern. Join us on our quest if you will, or, let's at least find how to get back there to explore. I can offer you my protection while you are with us and my friendship. For some reason, his fractured nose begins to bleed. "But....head my words, if you choose to join us, do not become my enemy or betray. I am of single purpose in my quest, and nothing or no one will stand in my way."
It is clear that the man speaks with unbroken conviction and strength. His will and fortitude without question.
"We are also in need a rest, as some in my group have been traveling for too long, our resources depleted, but we need a solution to protect us from the demons that attacked us."
(OOC: Me and Kos have not had a long rest in 6 months of real time in this game...maybe tiny hut to protect us from the demons, maybe Tess/npc can do a remove curse after that, but we need a LONG REST).
"Hi my name is Koselig and I'm a svirfneblin alchemist."

"This indeed is an epic quest that Sparhawk speaks of, we would welcome you as allies and friends!"

"Once there was a young man who lived among the gods. So welcome was he that he thought he might become one of them. The young man enjoyed the food, wine, and comforts offered by the gods, and the gods enjoyed the tales he would tell as they laughed and cried at every evening story. But the young man grew too comfortable and saw too much. He was even brazen in his seeking of the knowledge of the gods.
And the gods cast him out of their devine home punishing the young man to live among mortals.
The man was a bit wiser now and he vowed to keep the secrets he learned of the gods so that those mortals would not be punished for his crime but he wanted to help them where he could. This now wise man enjoyed the freedom and laughter of those around him while he gave advice and warned of mistakes. He thought this good, but others disagreed. The mortals thought the wise man pompous and arrogant for how dare he tell them how to live. And so the wise man was once again banished. This time he was sent from the land of mortals to a wasteland filled with chaos.
It was a sad place, bleak and unpredictable. The wise man, who had now grown old, saw how this place was different. There were no gods to teach him who he should be, and no mortals for him to teach how to live. The old man had only himself and finally learned who he was. He found he liked himself very much, especially the conversation he could have with no one else to interrupt.
The old man found himself wishing he could have been himself all along. Perhaps the gods and mortals both would have suffered him longer... Or just put him out of his misery so he did not have to be alone. And so the old man cried.
As the tears streamed down his face a light shone down from the dark sky and the old man finally found himself happy to be banished from a realm that no longer wanted him."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(ooc: yes, I will need to stay in the dome... But everyone can be within the dome when I cast the spell... Then baron may need to step out but can still return to the dome if needed. Meaning we can split the party to avoid demons inside the dome, but all members of the party will still have access to return to the dome.
Those inside the dome can see out of it but those outside cannot see inside.
MarCailous only needs 4 hours of rest and can watch the other four hours, with assistance from his familiar, even from inside the dome... He'll leave house familiar to go outside with Baron.
And I'll upcast healing word on baron to recover
12 hit points
As well as Mage armor to increase his AC by 3.
I won't be able to directly cast spells through the dome to help much when the demons come, but that should help him in the fight and I can still do this much to prepare now. I can also heal anyone that needs it if they come into the dome during the fighting.
Just brainstorming how I can help but others are free to do as they feel right for their characters.)

Right. You're aplitting the party. Whichever side Baron is on, so too, the demons.
So, who is on which side of said hut? Who's in, who's out?

Wysaleth hums, as he appear lost in thoughs. He also could sleep only 4 hours, helping the others get their good night's sleep.
He would ready himself to fight against the demons, remembering his enchantments and Fire spells. But that certain question would haunt his thoughs.
