“Defend yourselves and finish off these things. Then we can explain.” The huge armored man says in a voice of one who has led others. “Stay near Tesses Spell. It will help protect you.”
Tenebril spots the closest demon still up and blasts them with three more beams.
Attack: Eldritch Blast
Beam 1, Attack 22, Dmg 13
Beam 2, Attack 20, Dmg 10
Beam 3, Attack 22, Dmg 13
(No hex, had to drop it to cast Enlarge on Spar, which is still up and he gets some bonuses on his attacks: The target's weapons also grow to match its new size. While these weapons are enlarged, the target's attacks with them deal 1d4 extra damage.)
Kos will use his wand of magic missiles to cast a 1st level Magic Missile using only 1 charge.
The three magical shards of force fly directly at the other demon each doing 5 for a total of 15 force damage.
"Take that you evil things!"

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
The first blast finishes one chasmw, while the othrr two liquify the final demon, leaving only a pool of ichor where it ince stood.

Also, here's a map.
Whenever youre ready, just need to know if you want to go south or east. You teleported here, ao you dont actually know where you are, but if you marked the areas you were already in, like, sequentially, you'd be abke to twll places youve alread6 been and the PCs would know what thst map shows. The dark corridor is one of the doors that teleports you and of which you must open (i think 4 still) to get to the center of the lair. Rhe one show nis one of two you've already seen.
With all the enemies dead and the rift closed, Tenebril asks how they all managed to get here and if it'd be alright for him to join them. "Not sure exactly how I got here but given that the rift is fully closed now and I doubt anyone wants to reopen it, I guess I'm kind a stuck with you all for the time being, if you'll have me?" Tenebril says with a struggle. He starts explaining how he likes the dark and can see pretty well in it and wouldn't mind helping explore this place, if they can keep from triggering anymore of those rifts. He rubs the spots where the first Chasme got him. "Should I be worried about this or you think a good night's sleep should do the trick?" He's ok going whichever direction. "Let's go south?"
They call me Captain Sparhawk, although Sparhawk will do fine. We are here due to the rifts forming in different locations and even worlds. I dare say even different times. We are trying to find the source and close the rifts. This book is part of it. Is there a way to keep it closed and take it with us securely. I had a friend that was possessed by a similar book?”
"Thanks all. I can heal your wounds, if you like. Captain, if you wish i can carry the book in my pack. I think it will be safe, left closed. But do watch to ensure I do not become posessed!". With (an invisible) Mage hand, she lifts the book and it floats to her waiting pack, where it drops in to a pocket.
Heading south, you pass through a wide corridor, where stalactites and stalagmites have fused to form lumpy pillars extending from floor to ceiling. The path turns to cross another byt ahead you see a cave opening on your right. Thr cave is the thick with the stench of rotting fungus. Peering in, you see a few mushrooms growing here and there, but most are dead and heaped in piles throughout the chamber. Futther ahead, you see the glow of a bioluminescent garden full of six-foot-tall glowing mushrooms and other fungi growing in mounds of carefully spread compost.
Do you want to checl the stinking cave, check the glowing garden, or try the other path this one intersected with, continuing south?
"Hi Tenebril, my name is Koselig but most just call me Kos, I'm a master level Alchemist and if you ever need anything by the way of potions or elixirs then I'm your man... err, or should I say Gnome for of course I am a gnome also."
Kos moves from your right side to your left as the group advances chattering away if he thinks there's the slightest chance you will listen to him and his spiel.
"My most common request is for my healing drafts, and of course the limited flight always overshadows my speed potions... let's just say I've got something for almost every situation."

“Tess I charge you with carrying the book. You are a librarian of sorts so I trust it with you. We should heal and rest a bit. I can use magic from this amulet of your health will not be restored (greater restoration for reduction in hp. (short rest?)
Tenebril would be willing to listen to Kos. He's not used to being around so many people so it'd be a nice change of pace for him. "Considering I already have flight covered, I wouldn't mind hearing more about your speed potions."
(And I think we would need the amulet plus short rest to get rid of the max hp reduction, or a long rest, right? I wouldn't mind checking out the glowing garden after we get healed up)
Tenebril will talk to the rest of the group about where they might be able to sleep for at least a short rest (or longer if possible) and let's them know that he does have "Sand Structure" on his list and if he ritual casts it, he could make several sand walls. That should help secure their position and also they'd be able to hear the walls collapse if someone or something was trying to get to them.
Gharzun stands still for a long moment, hammer held at the ready as the last demonic forms dissolve into ichor and smoke. Only when he’s certain none of them rise again does he lower the weapon, planting its head on the floor with a faint thud. He draws a slow breath, letting the tension bleed from his stance, though his eyes remain sharp and scanning the shadows.
“No more movement. For now.”
He takes a step back, inspecting his armor where the claws and proboscides scraped uselessly off its polished plates, then glances toward the others. Kos. Sparhawk. Tess. Even the strange winged newcomer. Still standing—still breathing.
With that quiet acknowledgment, he finally slings the hammer back into its strap and raises his shield just enough to lean it against his knee as he kneels, pressing two fingers briefly to the ground in silent thanks to the Watchers he serves. Then he stands again, voice calm but firm.
“We hold here? Very well. I’ll take first watch.”
His eyes sweep the room one more time, noting the altar, the shadows, the faint smell of ozone still clinging to the air from the rift. He sets his shield at his side but keeps his gauntlets on, leaning slightly against the wall where he can watch both entrances.
“Rest if you can. Something tells me this place won’t stay quiet forever.”

Can I get a layout of where everyone is at? I want to drop a spell on the remaining enemies but don't want to make new enemies in the process lol
You're about to kill them, just do that. Not worth mapping

Go for it. Where ya resting? In the place with the book or one of the points I mentioned to follow?
So, the book place then, with the hellmouth, or...?

((I definitely miss the 2014 version of the Book of Shadows, Tiny hut would be so good right about now lol))
"we can keep watches, I suppose here may work" (place with the book) Tess says.
“Although I don’t like this place, let’s catch our breath here and see to some healing”(of those temp max hp loss)
(in the book room or very near it)
(if the sand structures don’t cost slots, go for it. )
“Tess, what do we do to heal those afflicted by those creatures” ( loss of max hp)
