Kos shouts out for everyone to hear, "Stop! Everybody stop! There's no need to fight each other! We can all be friends! Stop! Please stop!"

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
(If Sparhawk needs to dash, that is what he will do)
"Kos, you are under the effects of a spell. We are here to save our world, and to do so, we must help the woman escape her prison here. To do so, means to help her transcend to her next path. Either way, Tenebril is hurt and needs your healing!"
The sanctum trembles with arcane tension. Tenebril’s blasts strike Drelnza in rapid succession—three pulses of force that hurl her across the marble floor. Her form skids, cloak trailing like smoke, until she collides with the base of the dais. Sparhawk surges forward, boots hammering stone, blade drawn to finish what Tenebril started.
Clinging to the chain above the Lanthorn, a tiny creature twitches, its gemstone core pulses once—then flares. The jacinth lens embedded in the lantern glows a deep, fiery orange, casting flickering light across the chamber. The air thickens. The scent of scorched myrrh and crushed rubies fills the room.
A column of divine flame erupts from the ceiling, engulfing both Tenebril and Sparhawk in a roaring blast. The gem dust fueling the spell—1,000 gold worth—ignites in a burst of radiant fury.
The jacinth lens begins to dim, its energy spent. Before the smoke clears, the little glowing jewel skitters over the surface of the lanterns. A second pulse—cooler, sharper. The topaz lens flares to life, casting a pale amber glow that dances across Sparhawk’s armor. The light fractures, refracts, and then condenses into a ripple of temporal distortion. Time stutters. Sparhawk’s movements slow, his blade heavy, his breath caught mid-motion. The Slow spell takes hold, warping his momentum as the sanctum bends reality around him. (DC20 Wis to resist)
Through it all, Koselig’s voice rings out—desperate, pleading. “Please! Stop this! She’s not our enemy—she needs our help!” Drelnza rises, Heretic in hand, the Lanthorn’s glow painting her in shifting hues of flame and shadow. Drelnza watches with cold amusement. Heretic hums in her hand, eager. “You’re stronger than you look,” she murmurs. “But strength isn’t everything.” She slashes once—quick, precise. Heretic bites deep. 24 for 40 slashing and must make a Con save (DC17) or be paralyzed until the start of her next turn. She saunters casually up the curved wall / ceiling toward the lanthorn, defying graviry as she walks.
(Ok sorry, took me awhile to figure out what I was going to do since Spar is paralyzed and Kos is charmed.)
Tenebril, seeing that Sparhawk is paralyzed and Kos is charmed and could turn on them, decides to burn one of his precious spell slots and will use [Summon Shadow] (Assassin type) and directs it to protect Sparhawk first if anyone gets close and tries to attack him and if no one is close, attack the woman. Then he gets a (hopefully) clever idea, and moving to behind one of the screens so no one can see him, actives his "Call of the Lonely" feature as a bonus action. He's hoping if Kos isn't hostile to him just yet that if he can't free him of the charm, he can at least force him away from himself and Spar. He positions his "Companion" just outside of the screen so everyone can see it. He asks very politely to his companion, "Did you bring me any trinkets to play with this time? My friends aren't able to play right now. She's the one making it so they won't play with me." He says as he points to Drelnza. "Can you help me get rid of her."
(I think the Companion (doppleganger stat block) gets two attacks on her and I think since it's its first round, does that mean it gets surprise attack bonus on her? I'm also assuming the lantern is making it so it's not dim light near the screens? If there is any dim light near them, I'd place the shadow in it so it can do a bonus action for Shadow Stealth to get bonus damage on those attacks)
The Shadow will use Two Deahtly Bolt attacks on Drelnza:
Bolt 1: Attack 26, Damage Unable to parse dice roll.
Bolt 2: Attack 25, Damage Unable to parse dice roll.
Tenebril’s wings twitch with urgency. Smoke still curls from his scorched robes, the aftermath of the Lanthorn’s flame strike lingering in the air. Behind the screen he whispers, “Come to me—shadow of my sorrow, twin of my torment!” The invocation echoes through the sanctum, laced with desperation and arcane longing. Glyphs shimmer briefly on the marble floor. A chill passes through the chamber.
But nothing answers.
The summoning fails. No shadow stirs. No companion steps forth. The sanctum holds firm—its planar seals unbroken.
From above, Drelnza watches. She walks along the domed ceiling with unnatural grace, Heretic gleaming in her hand, the gem upon thr lantern pulsing behind her like a second heartbeat. Her voice drips with mockery. “Still calling for pets to fight your battles, little warlock? How quaint.”
She drops—silent as silk—behind the shattered screen where Tenebril crouches, wings folded tight. Heretic slashes in a blur of violet steel, carving through the air with a whisper of hunger. “I wanted to finish the paladin,” Heretic hisses, audible to Tenebril alone. “But you’ll do.”
Drelnza lunges, fangs bared, eyes gleaming with hunger. Her grip tightens on Tenebril’s shoulder as she sinks her teeth into his neck, drinking deep. The sanctum pulses. The lantern flickers. And Koselig, still charmed, pleads for peace as blood stains the marble.
<The summons fail. Both of them, just like the steed that failed to materialize. This is the effect of a permanent spell.>
Sparhawk is no longer paralyzed. Tenebril might be, which reminds me, but we wont retcon, that bite x Sparhawk should have had AD, since he was paralyzed at the time.
Sparhawk (not paralyzed) and Kos (still charmed) are up. I will post a map and dice rolls. <I feel the conditions for breaking iut of charm are brutal. "Each time Drelnza or her allies do anything harmful to the target, it can repeat the saving throw, ending the effect on itself on a success. Otherwise, the effect lasts 24 hours or until Drelnza is destroyed, is on a different plane of existence than the target, or takes a bonus action to end the effect." 'While charmed in this way, the target regards Drelnza as a trusted friend to be heeded and protected" as long as you keep thise points true, Kos can do whatever he wants.>
(Ok, the 13 misses which looks like I got luckily there as if it had hit everything else would have. I think everything else missed him as well.)
Tenebril realizes, as both the companion and shadow fail to materialize, that it's not Drelnza,or at least not just her that is causing something to stop the summonings as he had thought. He has hoped he'd be able to at least get one of them off without being stopped. But it looks like his actions kept Drelnza's attention on him and away from the rest of his party. "Whatever is keeping us from calling in reinforcements isn't just her. I think maybe the lantern is helping with it?" Tenebril says just as something draws his attention.
The gleam off Heretic as Drelnza swings it at him catches his eye just in time to avoid the attack and as he moves away from the attack by inches, it looks like it was a good call as her bite attack would have landed too.
Sparhawk fights off the effects of the paralisis, and as Drelnza comes off the ceiling to attack, he strikes with his sword: Bonus action: Hunters mark on Drelnza. (KOS, remember +4 save due to Sparhawks Aura)
28 to hit: 17+ 14 radiant damage
27 to hit: 19+ 12 radiant damage
Then summoning some inner strength, Sparhawk attacks again in a flurry of attacks (Action surge)
20 to hit (Precision attack), 16+8 radiant damage
(CRIT: 29 to hit): 13 +14 radiant
(total damage if all hit: 113)
(If she tries to move away, he will certainly take an opportunity attack)
Sparhawk fails the Dec save, taking 29 damage.
So is he dashing over to Drelnza or something else? Tenebril's held action bladted her +30ft away.
Kos is also up
Kos shouts out for everyone to hear, "Stop! Everybody stop! There's no need to fight each other! We can all be friends! Stop! Please stop!"
(If Sparhawk needs to dash, that is what he will do)

Slow Spell wisdom save with advantage and bless: 23, new shield protects Sparhawk from the slow.
Con Save with advantage: 14. (Sparhawk hp is at 28. He's getting beat up)., Paralyzed.
