Koselig has 1 Healing elixir prepared and can make up to 7 more if needed and still have his remaining 3rd level spell slot available for a casting of Mass Healing Word if necessary. My elixirs won't last longer than a day so can't be stockpiled like actual potions of healing, if a casting of Healing Word would roughly serve the same purpose then Koselig will use his four 1st level and three 2nd level spell slots.
"Whatever aid I can offer is at your disposal Sister Cyas but I must warn you each dose of Koselig's Cure-All will lose it's potency after one day. I do also have a few methods of mending minor maladies."
Koselig will tour the hospital tents with Sister Cyas and Cha!jil healing the sick, his tiny tea pot servant Mr. Thyme trailing just behind and assisting when able, acting as a 'nurse' of sorts to Koselig. His methods are somewhat odd as he doesn't pray to any god for his abilities but instead uses mechanical substitutes such as his elixirs (2d4+4 hp and 2d6+4 temp hp each) and other things such as a stylized tuning fork to emit specific pitches of sound as a way of delivering his Healing Word spell which when casting he can be heard to mumble under his breath "...have to get the sonic resonance just right..."

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Sparhawk notes the commander's anxiety, his lack of leadership skills, and assumes he is a noble or soldier with little military experience who had been placed here to command. Yet, in the end, he appreciates the man's response and smiles.
"One thing I admire more than anything is loyalty and trust in one's friends. Commander, you speak honorably of your allies and with the wisdom of a leader carrying the great burden of leadership."
In a surprise move, the huge half-orc paladin goes down on one knee in front of the meek commander, in humility lowering his head and placing his T-Rex clawed great sword at the mans feet.
"It is an honor, Commander Breakbone to allow my group to aid you and your soldiers here. I can only hope that by joining Captain Salhana's mission, we can make a difference in the fight against this plague of undead. This sword is called, Retribution. I, Sir Sparhawk have vengeance in my heart, death in my hands, and will smite justice on those responsible for killing so many in your charge." (Quote by William Shakespeare)
(OOC: That was fun, thanks for pulling in some background stuff, makes for a colorful adventure!!!)
I sent a note separately in a thread to you explaining Sparhawks rank. In game, more of his background could be revealed as they move forward, pc's ask questions, etc.)
(Tess and Sparhawk will wait for the commander to respond back to them, then find Captain Firebeard.)
To Cha!jil before the commanders entrance, "I agree, but these people need our help or clearly, they will all surely perish. My journey is guided by my gods, and if we were not meant to help these people, we would not have encountered them. I live and fight for the betterment of this world. If your pathway is with mine, we will share in the honor and glory together as we proceed."
Niles Breakbone: "Justice and Vengeance are two sides of a coin, Sparhawk. Torm knows injustice siffuses our world, and maybe he knows who brought about the hoardes of undead upon this continent. Whoever it was might be long dead, now. The legends say as much, laying the blame at tbe feet, or tail, perhaps, of Ras Nsi. If Vengeance drove me, it's his hide I'm look to claim. But in truth, the undead take as much a toll on us as the weather, the leeches, the blue mist. Happenstance, history, beyond the work of one man or even a thousand shape the world that spurts us today. Like a tailor's widow cursing the ocean, Vengeance may be elusive. Thay is why we fight to undo what has been done, to restore Chult to a land fir for the living. Rise Sparhawk and prepare yourself for the journey ahead. You are dismissed."
<you planning to sleep? There's tents, or there's the watchtowers yoi can still check out. Or was there anything else yoi wish to do?>
Sparhawk will look over the defenses of the camp, watchtowers, missile weapons, strength and weaknesses in the soldiers, walls, etc. once that is done a good meal, and settle down for the night.
Each watchtower has a defended top level (providing three-quarters cover) that looms above the camp palisade. A lower level consists of a wooden floor raised several feet above the ground and enclosed with a combination of thin wood and canvas to create a reasonably dry living space. Lorsa Bilwatal, Wulf Rygor, and their cadre of Chultan scouts have their quarters in these lower watchtower billets.
Theoretically, each watchtower is staffed by two guards day and night, but personnel shortages sometimes reduce that to one guard or force the knights to take turns on watch.
If it's possible to stay in one of the watchtowers then that's where Koselig will spend the night. Above ground level and away from the deplorable conditions of the camp might be the only place Koselig can get any rest.
Before that though he will ask, "Sister Cyas, are there any more out on patrols? I only ask so that I'll know whether to keep any healing for them upon their return."

Other than the towers, Sparhawk will look for strengths and weaknesses of the camp and people
He will also speak with the brave soldiers here, using a friendly casual tone to both put them at ease, and gain information on those in command here. “I’m curious about…, I need your help with…you could do me a tremendous favor if…” (he’ll use his reputation, his charisma, his presence, and persuasion to gain what info he can from folks. Sparhawk is interested in how they view the commander, that two captains. Who they trust, are there any problems, why is the camp in such a state, what should he know about Captain sultana
He will share this information with his group and when the time is right, find Captain Firebeard for another conversation before resting for the night.

"No. Nobody is out on patrol at tbe moment." Sister Cyas reolies, "The two over there just returned, dragged back after being subdued by his comrades. Wandered into a patch if blue mist, they did."
Rhe camp is this way because the jungle is harsh and unfamiliar territory u. These soldiers hale from a cooler, drier climate. The loss kf Camp Righteous was a serious blow, and finding additonal assets to support the effort in Chult has been difficult. Boats come in and out of camp constantly, evacuating the seriously ill and wounded and ferrying supplies downriver and back or using the boats on excursions uoriver further into the basin.
Wulf Rygor, a half-elf scout, has known Commandant Breakbone since they were children. He firmly rwfures any insunati9n the commandant is doing anything wrong, though Lorsa, a Chultan woman, (also a scout) pushes back on this, pointing out that the dispatches he sends back paint a roaier picture of the situation than we know to be true, a d if he were t afraid if being seen as unfit, his pleas for aid would be mer with additonal resources.
<do you want to weigh in on this or go talk to Firebeard (totally optional) or get some rest?>
Sparhawk is merely friend and confidant, thanking them for their valiant efforts in this difficult situation, and discussing how the major ports have no idea what is happening here. He will make a report to the leaders back at port Naz when he returns. He will go find firebeard and rejoin his companions. He also asks for no special treatment for sleeping arrangements

The jungle Dwarf grins....this gnome would make a decent member of The People with the head on their shoulders they have.
Sparhawk finds Captain Firebeard: the grizzled gold dwarf is inspecting the gate, checking the ropes and oullets that allow a single man to quickly open and close the massive construction. When he notices Sparhawk approach, he speaks without turning his attention tonhim, "What is it?" He asks, curtly.
“They are a tough and hardened group, captain, with the faith to overcome much evil here.” Sparhawk says in Dwarvish, quietly but as a professional giving an assessment to another professional.

Examining the bedridden soldiers, Cha!jil determines each js suffering from either blue mist fever, shivering sickness, or throat leeches.
Not having prepared any prayers against disease or parasites Cha!jil will heal their symptoms and physical damage for now.

Otherwise, are we at a rest?
“I agree, this jungle and the dead do make those who survive it quite battle ready”
(Unless firebeard says anything else, Sparhawk will clean his gear, sharpen and oil his weapons, and retire for the night. )
