The goblin nods to Skye, looking terrified. And then when Damros starts talking, the goblin does its best to avoid looking at Skye (or Xaul for that matter). He does not make any noises when the gag is removed.
Damros smiles at the silent goblin. "Well done, my friend. You continue to live through wise decisions.'"
Almost looking distracted for a moment; as if he had forgotten the goblin was even there while looking about at the room and his companions, Damros suddenly swings around and is inches away, face-to-face with the goblin captive.
"We have a friend taken prisoner down here. I am assuming YOU were left to guard their retreat as they took our friend deeper into the sewer maze. We want directions to the main holding area. Just remember, if we think you are lying or holding back... well, this lovely lady might have to start whittling off bits from your body."
Damros waves an open hand toward Skye as if offering up the goblin to her.
"I wasn't left to guard any retreat. I guard this place all the time. This is one of our permenant hideouts. And it's no maze. It's all one big square with rooms off it. Follow the corridor around and if they are here you will find them if they are here. Could always ask the boss. Starting at the other side is quicker to get to his chamber."
Xaul regags the goblin and says to the group 'So, what will it be? Are we going to follow the chamber around to look for Floon, and risk further enemies, or should we go ask this hideout's 'boss' which might be quicker but even deadlier'
[By 'corridor' does he mean the sewer tunnels or the rest of this raised area? I'm assuming it's the latter obviously but can't be sure]
“We might have intimidated the Kenku, but I fear we can’t pretend that we’re so scary that some gang leader needs to listen to us, nor that we’re members they’ve never met. I think we either need to go in with overwhelming force and confusion, or look around elsewhere quietly.”
She looks at the gagged goblin. “Not you though. You can be scared of us. We are scary. Rah, boo, grrr, et cetera.”
Xaul cracks his knuckles and says 'Well, there hasn't been a situation yet that we haven't been able to worm our way through without sheer chaos and tomfoolery.' He grins as he puts his hand to his hip flask and says 'I prefer the former option, let's send this 'gang leader', whoever they are, a serious message about what they're up against!'
And becuase it's hard to point during text, those steps are very much the direction he indicated (as well as he could while bound) when talking about following the corridor around.
Unless anyone objects between now and then, I'll reveal more map and description tomorrow when I'm back on my laptop
The room you arrive in contains six tattered, straw-stuffed mattresses and nothing of value. You hear sounds of activity coming from the other side of the door.
Xaul looks around and says 'Well it doesn't look like there's anything interesting here, let's carry on.' Noting the noises coming from behind the next door, he holds the handle and whispers to the party 'When I open the door, can someone prepare to send an eldritch blast through? That way if the noises are nothing, we might scare it off, but if it's a threat, we've got a chance to get the jump on the enemies.' He then waits for someone to agree to this before opening the door.
Damros nods, "Just give us a clear view into the room so we can pick our target." He slides up closer and prepares an Eldritch Blast -- holding until the door is opened.
The door gets opened and you see another room containing six tattered, straw-stuffed mattresses, this time with a duergar and a human. Those of you who were in the yawning portal when the ogre appeared recognise the human as the one who started the fight with Yargra.
The duregar is using pieces of furniture to barricade a door on the opposite side. The human is trying to explain that the approach won’t work, and is telling him to plug the gap at the bottom of the door with blankets. Neither of them notice you right away so you can get the three readied attacks off with advantage.
The goblin nods to Skye, looking terrified. And then when Damros starts talking, the goblin does its best to avoid looking at Skye (or Xaul for that matter). He does not make any noises when the gag is removed.

The genasi woman takes out a crossbow bolt and her dagger. She begins to sharpen one end, one slow whittle at a time.

So then. Looking at the map, where do you head?

[I'm think we should go north down the steps from the room with the goblin since that seems to be the best route, what do you guys think?]

I agree... the 'northern' stairs... with caution.

(Happy with stairs. It’s not the boss direction.)

Damros nods, "Just give us a clear view into the room so we can pick our target." He slides up closer and prepares an Eldritch Blast -- holding until the door is opened.
Skye taps her nose, steps beside Damros, kneels and prepares an Eldritch Blast of her own.
Not being able to cast Eldrich Blast, Sehaethas readies his light crossbow instead. He wonders if Kylaski takeover once the door opens.
