While waiting for everyone else to take a turn, Skye could always do a death save. If you get a nat 20 you can have an action and maybe get an epic revenge kill
[I would take the killing turn but I’m a little too busy to write up a fitting paragraph for the defeat so I’ll let someone else take the honour, unless nobody else can!]
"Raven take you for a fool..." Damros drops his hand crossbow, throws off his jacket. Taking a quick glance, he dives into the waters; heading toward what he hopes is Skye. (movement)
Trying to see in the murky depths (how far down are they?) he will attempt to nab Skye's form (collar or belt grab?) Grapple? Strength check: 9 {game log}
IF he can get a firm grasp on Skye, he will attempt to move back up to the surface.
Skye was not very deep. You can kick her without your head going under water (not that I am suggesting you do that). Skye seems more buoyant than the average humanoid so luckily isn't really sinking very fast. She's also light (I am assuming anyway based on artwork and race) so haven't it's easy enough to bring her to the surface, but you struggled a bit getting her head out of the water. (and you just about can do it all without an AoO from the bairly breathing drow)
"Seha/Kyla... who ever you are, lend a hand and help drag Skye up onto the dock so I can help her!" Damros will keep scissor kicking to try to stay stable enough to help get Skyeup and onto the dock.
Kylaski let's Sehaethas control his body to do the physical stuff. Able to control his party again, Sehaethas lays down on the dark and reaches down to pull up Skye onto the dock.
[Cool, I’m busy at the moment but I’ll get a post out ASAP! (I might roll the dice in advance just to see whether or not I actually hit, since if I miss both my attacks then I won’t need to bother with a killing description and the round will roll over)]
Seeing the majority of the party focusing on Skye, the drow starts to swim (quite effectively) away from Xaul. But not far enough to be out of range. He is now 50ft away and still in the water.
Xaul curses as his attacks miss, and with the party on shore and his Tentacle out of range, this next blast might just be the party’s last chance at bringing the murderer to grim justice. He surfaces, the sea water sliding of his upper body whilst his legs continue to paddle with an otherworldly grace beneath him, and then he fires forward a brilliant beam of the brightest viridian towards the fleeing drow, splitting the surface of the water apart as it soars with immense power, and illuminating both the seabed and night sky alike.
The fist shaped blast hits the elf perfectly, wreaking havoc on their injured body as they have the magic of a thousand seas flow through them. For a second they are frozen in place, glassy eyes towards the sky, and then their corpse begins to loosen up and sink to the bottom of the deep blue.
[Eldritch Blast: Nat 20 for a total of 24, 15 force damage (pretty perfect killing blow, I’m pretty sure we need to have the body as evidence of our killing, but I thought sending it to Davy Jone’s locker is ideal flavour for Xaul, he can easily retrieve it!)]
Damros drags himself out of the water and onto the dock. Water dripping from his clothing, he slurps over to the body of Skye. Rolling her onto her side, he lightly touches her neck as he intones certain arcane words.
Damros yells at Seha/Kyla, "Dammit, can't either of you change to help Skye before she is chopped into fish bait!"
Skye blurbles. Pop, pop, pop go the bloody bubbles that reach the surface.

(Looks like it is on Xaul for the killing blow)

[Got a 13 with eldritch blast and an 11 with Tentacles. I know an 11 is a miss but does a 13 hit? If so, it’s 7 force damage and the kill!]

AC16 so misses.

Spare the Dying
Damros curses under his breath, "Now, if only I had a Goodberry or a potion of healing..."
With that, we are out of initiative! Well done, they were CR4

Skye blurbles in a less distressed fashion, unconscious for 1 hours.
Damros stands and yells in frustration. Stepping to the edge of the dock, he looks out at Xaul and the assassin.
Gathering his anger, he sends forth an Eldritch Blast (with Agonizing Blast & Lance of Lethargy) into the water hoping to get one last shot in ...
To Hit: 16 Dmg: 11
Xaul has already killed them. But that hits the corpse
