Ariana's blast is able to get a solid hit, sizzling the creeper. It turns at the tiefling with an emotionless face, flashing as if in glee.

Harmir aims another fire bolt at Creeper 1, seeking to end its existence.

Lysander, steadying his aim, takes out his bow and looses it and Creeper 1 (or Creeper 2 if Harmir's firebolt fells it)

Action: attack, with adv and sneak attack

Attack: 25 Damage: 19

Lynn dodges.

Under the barrage of firepower the creepers are felled and poof harmlessly to the ground.

With the dust settling the courtyard remains quiet and peace returns.

What do you do?

Jörmandu walks behind the building the Creepers came out of, seemingly looking to investigate back there, and changes back to Kpp'ar. Kpp'ar walks out from behind the building and strides over to the group.

"Hey everyone. What'd I miss?"

Kyren opens the doors to the large building. Its doors creak open revealing a dusty old building that appears to have been a stable. He finds six stables and dusty old riding equipment lined along the walls.

Kpp'ar approaches what he thought was a well only to get hit with an unpleasant smell. Opening the door he realizes that it's not a well, but an outhouse.

Harmless rats infest this wooden building, which stinks of rat droppings.

[[ Not seeing any actions, so shall I assume you enter the keep? ]]

After exploring the exterior building, Harmir and Lynn take up positions in the gatehouse to keep watch for any threats.

As Ariana, Kpp'ar, Kyren, and Lysander enter the keep they come to a hall with many doors. It's filled with dust and cobwebs.

What do you do?

Kpp'ar walks down the hallway cautiously and investigates both staircases.

"Everyone, stay back for now. I'll investigate these stairwells and give you the all clear if it's safe."

Kpp'ar does find anything off to him that seems dangerous. The stairs, while covered in cobwebs, seems safe enough to ascend. From down at the bottom he sees they seem to lead up to a gallery of some sort.

“Send our strongest first. Might be traps.” *Sorry for not posting, keep missing these.*

Kpp'ar ascends one of the staircases and looks around, taking in everything that he can.

Kpp'ar heads up the stairs to find the gallery and more sets of doors.

Four empty suits of armor guard this carpeted hallway, the walls of which are adorned with framed pictures of knights, dragons, landscapes, and great battles. At the east end of the hall is a large painting of a werewolf knight brandishing a steel lance.

[[ I also brought Lysander up because I misread Bananer's post. Was editing the map and misremembered he was just saying "send the strongest first" not going up himself too. And I'd already screenshotted, cropped, uploaded to imgur, and put it in this post so I was too lazy to fix that. ;p ]]

Kpp'ar would like to enter the door directly in front of him.

Kpp'ar walks past the suits of armor, with spears in their hands. The suits armor seem like they may have been welded in place as he comes near the door and peers inside to see what lays beyond.

A canopied bed draped with cobwebs stands against the west wall between two nightstands, one of which has a painted wooden model of Lightning Keep atop it. Mounted on the opposite wall is a tall mirror in a gilded frame, next to which stands a dusty wardrobe.

At the south end of the room, swaying in front of the frosted window, is a tall, dark figure with long claws.

Kpp'ar gets a feeling the dark figure is powerful.

What does Kpp'ar do? Does he approach the figure and try to speak to it? Run away? Continue exploring?

And what are the rest of your characters doing downstairs? Have they entered any rooms there? Been chilling? Thinking about where the lightning rods may be?

Kpp'ar slams the door shut and runs back to the rest of the party.

Kpp'ar is able to rejoin the others downstairs. As far as he's aware, the figure did not follow him down.

"Everyone, slowly follow me up the stairs. And keep your guard up."

He draws his warhammer and shield and starts slowly back up the stairs.
