Gomphus shrugged. It then occured to boxey (due to the nature check) that a shrieker is a bit flimsy, and will not be able to shriek if it is dead. Killing it should silence it.
The mushroom was stabbed and torn by the ice knife, seeming horribly wounded, but still intact. The mushroom didn't shriek however, and didn't even seem to know it had been hit.

This time allure did not call upon the granted power, but innate. Shard of ice, created by Ice Knife flew towards the mushroom.

Seeing Zerxius rush towards the mushroom, Grabius chooses to get Ready to throw a dagger should anyone come out, and bonus Hide in preparation.
Boxey is also going to draw her crossbow and load a bolt in case someone comes out the door.
