Rori reaches into the well of magic she draws from and finds nothing but a small ember that holds the illumination on her targets, but there’s not enough left to do anything to turn the tide of the fight. She bares her teeth in annoyance and shakes off the frustration that she can’t do more than reload her sling and fire another copper at the shaman, though she feels like she’s pissing him off more than doing real damage.

Rori's attack is just enough to finish off the Shaman, who collapses in a heap. The Bugbear is all alone and lit up, but has taken very little damage overall.

Jubilee, you're up.

Jubilee, frustrated that they have managed to miss her previous attacks, swings her axe again at the bugbear.

(Jubilee rages with her Axe and manages to slash the Bugbear, leaving a large wound across the  shoulder and chest! The Bugbear takes sight of Jubilee and tries to retaliate with it's Morningstar!)

(The Morningstar does find its mark but Jubilee is in such a range it doesn't fully register.)

But the vines trip him up and he ends up falling prone!

Rori, you're up

Rori sees the bugbear go down to a prone position and rushes in, drawing her dagger. When she gets close, she’ll jump (only for flavor) to drive the dagger down into her opponent. Holding the dagger in her left hand and her right hand on the butt of the handle, she lets out a hellacious roar as she brings the weapon down.

Attack: 15 Damage: 6

Rori dives onto the prone Bugbear, trying to drive the dagger in, but the tough hide armor manages to barely deflect the point of the blade!

Jubilee, you're up

Jubilee swings her axe at the bugbear again

(Jubilee's Axe finds its mark again, and this time the Bugbear is beaten, his blood flows from his chest and his last breath is taken.

You are all left in the room with Bess still trapped in a cage, the bodies, a large statue and the glowing outline of a door on the wall.

What do you all do?

I cast cure wounds on self. Then check the child for injuries. I will cast cure wounds on her or any in the party needing it

Rori will put away her dagger and sling, slick back her hair, and take a deep breath. First, she'll tell her friends, "Jubilee, Gabe, see if there's any keys on these guys to open Bess' cage."

Then, she will head towards the door illuminated by Faerie Fire in the back before it disappears and look it over before trying to open it.

Gaberin, I do believe you're out of spell slots.

Rori, you have to roll to Investigate the door.

I'll bandage myself up as well as I can then.
