(Before you is a very large room that seems to have been carved out of a cave. The walls are natural rocks, dark gray, with 20 foot ceilings. About 20 feet in there is a huge chasm, over which a narrow stone bridge connects this edge to another edge about 100 feet away. The bridge is about 5 feet wide and looks pretty sturdy, so you all could probably all cross it at once if you all went in a line.
The bridge seems sturdy, so you're not worried about crossing it. The stonework seems pretty good. Nobody else appears to be waiting for you all on the other side.
As you inspect the bridge, you notice that about halfway across, there is a part of the bridge that looks just a little bit difference than the rest. It's kind of far away, but you can tell it's a very slightly raised plate, about 10 feet across, long enough so you couldn't really jump over it unless you were very, very athletic. As you look around a little more, you see up on the ceiling a long, thin slit.
Jubilee gained the ability to sense danger - At 2nd level, you gain an uncanny sense of when things nearby aren’t as they should be, giving you an edge when you dodge away from danger. You have advantage on Dexterity saving throws against effects that you can see, such as traps and spells. To gain this benefit, you can’t be blinded, deafened, or incapacitated.
She has a +4 to both acrobatics and athletics if Rori and Gabe have an idea that might involve doing something along those lines.
Before they go anywhere, Rori will take a good look at her friends. "Y'all have looked better... what if we rest here, just for a little while. After two fights, I could use a little food and a breather. I can pluck at my lute a bit, try to make this dark place a little less uninviting."
(She's suggesting the group take a short rest, and her playing will trigger Song of Rest: If you or any friendly creatures who can hear your performance regain hit points at the end of the short rest by spending one or more Hit Dice, each of those creatures regains an extra 1d6 hit points.)
After they have a quick bite to eat and Rori strums a few songs (don't forget to add a 1d6 to your rolled hit die, courtesy of Song of Rest), she feels more clear headed about what's next.
Pointing out towards the center of the bridge, "We all see that raised part, right? It seems whoever used to live here before the goblins was trying to protect something. I suspect it's a trap, maybe triggered by weight?" She'll look Jubilee over from head to toe, "I've seen you do some crazy strong stuff in those fights... what're the odds you could chuck one of those goblin bodies out there to see if it will trigger anything coming out of the slit up there?"
Rori looks back to one of the bodies, "Looks like it weighs about the same as a hay bale. 40 pounds at most: that seems doable for someone like you! And if it doesn't work... then I guess we can test out your athletic prowess if you're willing to cross first."
Just to be clear, you're picking up one of the Goblins, walking across the bridge up to the raised plate, then tossing the Goblin onto the plate? Nothing else?
Guidance not needed, you don't have to roll for that, you can all carry 40lbs.
(Jubilee grabs a dead Goblin from the floor, carries it halfway across the bridge, stands back about 10 feet and tosses it onto the raised platform on the middle of the bridge. Jubilee appears to be ready to take evasive actions if any type of trap is triggered. The Goblin lands in a thud....
Disappointed in Plan A failing, Rori gives a noticeable sigh and sucks in through her teeth. "Well then Jubilee, thank you for the toss, seemed flawless from here. Might be time for Plan B, manual triggering of the plate." Rori looks at her confidently, trying to psyche her up for it, "You ready?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Maybe it's an area that was repaired?" gaberin asks
I would like to go and inspect the area and see if I can determine if it's a trap, and how it is triggered. First I will use my quarterstaff to push the goblin down again on the area, see if that triggers, then if not, use it to roll him off the bridge before inspecting it.
(Gaberin uses his Quarterstaff to push down on the Goblin's limp body. Suddenly, a click is heard and a Scythe comes flying out from the ceiling, right at Gaberin!)
(Did you take the short rest and add a 1d6 to your healing before that? Wanna make sure you got the healing you’re owed before taking a nasty slice from that scythe lol!)
(The Scythe drops down quickly and hits Gaberin square in the chest, leaving a huge gash and knocking him flat on his back! The rest of the group quickly comes to his aid as the trap slowly resets. Everyone rushes to the other side of the bridge while the gears whirr and the Scythe goes back to its spot in the ceiling. )
Gaberin is hurt very, very badly, and looks like he could pass out at any moment. You all are now on the other side of the bridge. About 20 feet ahead there is a big, heavy door, slightly open.
What do you all do?
Also, please give me some pre-emptive Perception checks.
OH! I almost forgot...

Gaberin will cast Guidance for the toss. And again for the crossing as needed.
