That table means that scrolls are very rare, basically nonexistent after 4th level. No active adventurer has the time to make more than one 5th level scroll per year. I think I'll stick to 1 day per spell level but the cost is bumped to spell level squared x 100gp.
Arya will talk it over with Thar about the Ring of Spell storing. I know Fah'lin thinks lesser restoration should be in the ring but Arya has the brashness of youth and wants the spells to be Misty Step, Invisibility and Shield. Restoration would be useful when needed but Invisibility will get used constantly. It matches perfectly with why Arya is in the group; scouting, sentry removal and causing massive damage in boss fights.
(I think Les really wanted to manage a kill or two, but the dice just didn't favor Tloques-popolocas.)
Your next adventure will be quite deadly unless you are very careful.
Anyway, after you collect your reward in Daggerfall it's back to Neverwinter and your friend Chercheur. He wonders if you would be free for a job in about 3 weeks. The college is sending and expedition into the Sword Mountains on an archaeology dig and would you act as security until they got set up and a mercenary company from Waterdeep arrived. Maybe a fortnight's work. There's already an advanced party doing prep work, you guard the apprentices on the trek to the site then look after them until the permanent guards arrive.
Fah'lin considers what could he accomplished in three weeks time. They could return to the Forge of Souls, though he isn't sure they'd get much benefit from the journey. Of course the expedition seems to be going right by Phandalin on their journey. They could get some of that "RnR" he's heard people talk about. He might chat up some of these scholarly types and try to locate a Belt of Giant's Strength, far fetched as that possibility is.
A security detail for a group of researchers sounds simultaneously fascinating and uneventful. Fah'lin is in. He asks Cherceur if he'll be joining the expedition and if they are expecting any trouble.

You could check in Neverwinter (investigation) to see if a Belt is available. Or spend a lot of money to have people check Waterdeep to see if one is there. You could make one in the forge, rare DC 31. 9000gp
Cherceur will not be going to the dig “I’ve retired from all that, I’m too old to be tramping around the wilderness having smelly creatures threatening indignities on my precious hide anymore.”

Thar thoughts in relation to forging a belt is he is not confident in his ability given it is a rare item. (He has +8 with the Arcana skill and could get +1d6 from Aeliarin's bardic inspiration, another +1d4 from Guidance and assuming Tarnce is willing/able we have a cleric to cast Enhance Ability so that he will get advantage on the roll. Don't think there is any more additions and so even if the assistance was maximum he would still need a roll of 13 or better to succeed.

"I'm with you on this one Arya," says Thar "Stopping our enemies before they can hurt us is more likely than needing to possibly have some special healing. More than happy to replenish Misty Step as I recover it after each short rest and I don't use it too much. Invisibility too, though I am more limited in it's recovery but should still be manageable. And of course the Staff can provide shield if necessary."

Thar will spend his free time scribing Greater Invisibility in to his spell book from the scroll. That would take 8 hours and cost 200gp. He will then also spend some time/money to copy his entire spell book (say 50 hours and 500gp) and leave the copy with Chercheur for safe keeping. (Character sheet adjusted)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
If Chercheur wished to join us as far as Phandalin he might like to be introduced to the Rockseeker brothers and could possibly portent success at the forge. Fah'lin does some investigatoring around Neverwinter (Investigation: 17 + 4 w/ guidance from his allies.)
(Xanathar's Guide has more complete rules for scribing scrolls. 4th level spell scrolls there are still 2500 gold, but 2 weeks time. https://www.dndbeyond.com/compendium/rules/xgte/downtime-revisited#ScribingaSpellScroll )

(Ooc: how much gold is that altogether per player?)
Eider, Level 13 Human Abjurer Wizard - Colosseum of Conquest (11W-3L) (Tougher than he looks)
15 You may have caught the ‘known thief’ putting a frog in your pocket.
If you really want it then as usually the characters dice for it roll % 34
After you get back to Daggerfall and claim the reward plus sell of all that plate armour you get 7201gp 6sp 6cp each

(OOC: DM, how many Diamonds does Tarnce have for Raise Dead from that horde? Or if it'd be easier we can just say he bought 5 in town.)

% roll for periapt: 36
Five? Are we expecting a lot of deaths? Either way you can have the gems.
Okay, the periapt is yours.
(Better safe than sorry.)

Tarnce is more than happy to assist at the forge. Bith with Guidance and Enhance Ability.
