Phantom hisses at the Gnoll (GH-2) in front of him, lunges at it and takes a bite out of it for 8 points of damage. The Gnoll collapses to the ground and Phantom continues to worry its body.
Redleaf’s moonbeam seems to suddenly become brighter, however the Gnoll it is targeting (GFC-3) twists and turns managing to avoid most of its burning rays and only takes 7 points of damage.
The Gnoll (GFC-3) facing Cole, Lanoros, Redleaf, Tibold and Gotrek yips, jibbers and dances with excitement at being in such a target rich environment. It decides to share its joy with the party. First it attempts to bite Cole and despite its jaws snapping awfully close to his neck, the Gnoll misses doing no damage. It then spins around and seeing that Gotrek is concentrating solely on the other Gnoll (GPL) he is facing, successfully plunges its shortsword into Gotrek’s side doing four points of damage. Because of his rage Gotrek barely notices the pinprick which is bleeding slightly for 2 points of damage. Congratulating itself on the success of its first strike, the Gnoll plunges its other shortsword deeper into the same spot, opening up the wound for a further seven points of damage which Gotrek notices as this time as it has done 3 points of actual damage. Suddenly hearing its leader (GPL) yell out something in Gnollish, the Gnoll lunges forward and successfully stabs Tibold for 3 points of damage. The other Gnoll has been watching Gotrek all this time and when Gotrek turns as the first Gnoll (GFC-3) stabs him for the second time lunges forward with his glaive slashing Gotrek across the back for eleven points of damage. Whilst a deep wound Gotrek shrugs it off as it only did 5 points of actual damage. The Gnoll follows this up with another strike which misses. As he stands there catching his breath having taken a total of 13 points of damage in a little over 10 seconds, Gotrek feels a warm glow as Tibold touches him on the shoulder curing him of 12 points of damage.
Thromkor you're up followed by Polly, Cole, Gotrek, etc.
Thromkor look at GFC-3, lifts his ebony staff into the air with both hands, and speaks a few words in Draconic. The staff's orb flashes and a frigid beam of blue-white light streaks toward the gnoll.
Redleaf looks around the battlefield and with a little concentration, she moves the moonbeam so the silvery beam of pale light is hitting the Gnoll and its leader (14 radiant damage dc 13 con save for 1/2 damage). She then utters a few words in Druidic and Tibold can feel the healing warmth spread throughout his body. (4 hp healed)
Gotrek turns and stairs at GPL for a moment before swinging his Great-Axe (Action - Attack) and then stepping in and following up with an elbow to the head as he brings his axe back in front of him. (Both attacks are reckless)
As the Gnoll's weapon hits his chest, Tibold's shirt flickers. For an instant, it appears to be a piece of studded leather, which absorbs most of the impact. Then it is once more the faded finery that it has always been. Tibold winces.
"That's going to leave a mark," he tells the gnoll, voice distorting.
"But you're much worse off."

Thromkor looks at the Gnoll closest to him (GFC-3) lifts his ebony staff into the air with both hands, and speaks a few words in Draconic. The staff's orb flashes and a frigid beam of blue-white light, which fortunately just misses Lanoros, streaks toward the Gnoll doing 6 points of damage.
Polly, decides to not get anywhere near the bright burning beam caused by Redleaf’s Moonbeam spell, drops his rapier and draws his bow. Distracted by the hiss from Phantom sitting beneath him who barely manages to dodge the rapier falling from the sky, he shoots wildly and misses.
Cole battles through the moonbeam caused by Redleaf’s spell in order to hit the Gnoll (GFC-3) closest to him. He manages to avoid most of the moonbeams and takes only 7 points of damage before smashing the Gnoll in the other kneecap doing 5 points of damage to it and dropping it to the ground where it no longer moves.
Gotrek turns and stares at the Gnoll he is facing swinging recklessly his Great-Axe futher hacking into its already wounded shoulder, doing 9 points of damage and then following this up with a reckless elbow to its head doing a further 10 points of damage.
As the Gnoll's weapon hits his chest, Tibold's shirt flickers. For an instant, it appears to be a piece of studded leather, which absorbs most of the impact. Then it is once more the faded finery that it has always been. Tibold winces. "That's going to leave a mark," he tells the Gnoll (GFC-3), and then his voice distorting says "But you're much worse off!" Never was a trur statement made because the Gnoll is already dead from Cole's strike.
Redleaf looks around the battlefield and with a little concentration, she moves the moonbeam so the silvery beam of pale light is hitting the only surviving Gnoll (GPL). It frantically tries to avoid the moonbeams but the pain from its wounded shoulder makes it slower than normal and it takes 14 points of damage. She then utters a few words in Druidic and Tibold can feel the healing warmth spread throughout his body as he is healed for 4 points.
Lanoros you're up followed by the only surviving Gnoll.
Phantom looks balefully at Lanoros as he is commanded to enter the zone covered by Redleaf’s Moonbeam spell and attack the last remaining Gnoll (GPL). He is beginning to wonder what’s in this relationship for him other than treats from Readleaf. First of all he was asked to run through thick brush and then a rapier was almost dropped on him and now he was being asked to enter the zone of the moonbeam. He struggles through but despite his twisting and turning he is unable to avoid taking 12 points of damage, however he catfully (if that is the right word) strikes at the Gnoll doing 7 points of damage which give a final yip and collapses to the ground. Phantom weakly stands over its prey and looks at Lanoros as if to say “its mine I earned it!”
This is a milestone campaign and new levels are granted at specific campaign points. This is not one of those points.
Lanoros will walk over to Phantom, "I'm sorry friend. You certainly earned that one, let me just check his pockets for anything of note. Then you can go to town." Before searching the gnoll, he places a glowing green hand on Phantom, "May Solonor bless you."
Lanoros will divide the gold, everyone will get 3 pieces, he will take the 2 and keep the silver and copper. "Check the others maybe there's more. Or some information?"

As Gotrek's rage starts to subside, with the kind of precision that would only come from prior experience. Gotrek searches the nearby gnoll bodies one by one for any useful items or weapons.
Redleaf releases the moonbeam from her concentration and surveys the battlefield. "We need to continue onward. So when you are all done dallying with the dead can we get a move on."
Gotrek turns around after poking a few bodies, not finding anything that is worth taking. "Bah! These small scratches? Save your magic, no need to worry about me. Redleaf is right though, time to move on. Lead the way my lady." He says to Redleaf with a grin.
