Thromkor grabs Cole's shoulder. As the halfling looks up at the dragonborn, Thromkor shakes his head slightly, his eyes on the statue. "The eye ... moved." He takes a step back, trying to pull Cole back with him.
At Thromkor's comment, Gotrek takes a careful step backwards, not taking his eyes off the statue. "Do you think these could have been real people?" he asks Thromkor.
As Thromkor alerts the party to the moving statue it suddenly comes to life and leaps towards Gotrek.
Mouth agape it attempts to bite him but just manages to avoid biting off its own tongue. However its swipe with its claws is far more effective opening up a large slash on Gotrek’s left shoulder (8 points slashing damage).
Cole you’re up. You notice that the other fiend statue appears to have come to life and is moving towards the party.

"So much for coming in quietly," Thromkor grumbles.
If the second gargoyle comes within 5 feet of Thromkor:
Thromkor places a hand to the side of his head and raises his staff off the ground. Hissing a word in Draconic, he slams his staff to the ground with a muffled thump, his orb flashes, and there are suddenly three additional Thromkors.
If the second gargoyle is more than 5 feet away from Thromkor:
Thromkor lifts his staff into the air and the orb begins to glow. He then raises a clawed hand at the first gargoyle and speaks a few words in Draconic. After the first couple words, a second clawed hand splits from the first and aims at the second gargoyle. Numbing frost forms on both gargoyles.

Tibold's other eyebrow shoots up as he rises from his crouching position.
"You're gargoyles, then?" he asks dryly.
"I can tell because that's the sound my throat made when I first caught sight of your ugly faces. Let's take care of that."
Then, with keyboard at the ready, Tibold mutters a phrase and waits, hands poised to strike its keys.
Readied spell: Shatter: 10 foot radius, so I'd like to wait until both of the gargoyles are in the radius, if that happens. The gargoyles will need to make a DC 14 Constitution save (with disadvantage for being made of an inorganic material) or take 10 thunder damage (half on a success). Tibold will cancel this if it's impossible to get them both, or impossible to do so without one of his allies being caught in the blast.
If the readied condition is met:
Tibold immediately plays a high chord, which grows into a ringing noise, painful for all to hear.
Cole steps and swings his club at Gargoyle. Whilst he connects he feels like he has just bashed his club against a stone wall as he does 3 points of bludgeoning damage. While he follows up his club strike with a slap all he does is bruise his hand. Tibold waits until the second gargoyle lands next to Cole and then suddenly releases a Shatter spell which given their inorganic nature is incredibly successful and some small cracks appear in the skin of both creatures. The second gargoyle lunges a Cole with its mouth agape and takes a bite out of his shoulder doing 9 points of piercing damage. It follows this up with a swipe of its claws across Cole’s face doing a further 8 points of slashing damage. Thromkor lifts his staff into the air and the orb begins to glow. He then raises a clawed hand at the first gargoyle and speaks a few words in Draconic. After the first couple words, a second clawed hand splits from the first and aims at the second gargoyle. While numbing frost forms on both gargoyles no further damage is done.

"Bloody Gargoyles, you give fine craftsmanship and stonework a bad name.." Gotrek mutters as he recklessly jumps towards the gargoyle in front of him, colliding with his shoulder before following up with his Great-axe. (Both attacks are reckless and the spiked armour counts as magical)
Gotrek shoulder charges the first Gargoyle doing 9 points of piercing (magical) damage. Off balance by his charge he misses with the follow up swing of his Great Axe. As Gotrek connects with his shoulder, the Gargoyle leans over and takes a bite out of it for 6 points of piercing damage. The Gargoyle’s flailing arms however get nowhere near Gotrek.
Too focused on trying to dismantle the gargoyle, Gotrek has nothing witty to say before he drops his shoulder into the gargoyle in front of him before following up with another swing of his Great-Axe. (Both Attacks are reckless)

Thromkor moves between Tibold and Gotrek and holds up his staff again, speaking a few words in Draconic. He reaches out and places his free hand to Gotrek's shoulder. After the first couple words, a second clawed hand splits from the first and reaches over to touch Cole. The hands glow briefly and then the orb at the top of his staff flashes, healing the monk's and barbarian's wounds.
Having seen how hard the Gargoyle’s skin is, Cole opts for a Palm Strike. He does so successfully but the rock-hard skin of the Gargoyles means that it only does 3 points of bludgeoning damage. Tibold recognizing that Cole has taken a fair amount of damage in the combat steps behind Cole and channeling some sort of strange creature from a galaxy far far away and across the depths of the space-time continuum makes the atrocious pun “Need a lay on hand?” before he gently touching him on the shoulder. Cole feels a warm inner glow and some of his more obvious wounds start to close over as he is healed for 7 points.
The second Gargoyle attempts to bite Cole but Cole drawing on some sort of inner power manages to deftly dodge out of the way. However, concentrating as he is on the Gargoyle’s fang lined mouth he does not see its claw coming and is raked across the back for 6 points of slashing damage. Cole steps back and Thromkor moves between Tibold and Gotrek. He holds up his staff again, speaks a few words in Draconic and reaches out and places his free hand to Gotrek's shoulder. Gotrek feels a warm inner glow and the large slash on his left shoulder starts to close as he is healed for 10 points. After the first couple words, a second clawed hand splits from the first and reaches over to touch Cole. The hands glow briefly and then the orb at the top of his staff flashes again. Cole feels the warming impact of a second burst of healing energy; this time for 5 points.
Gotrek is focused on trying to dismantle the Gargoyle in front of him and unusually for him does not make any witty comments letting his axe and body speak for himself instead as he knees the Gargoyle in the groin. While its balls might be little rocks, it obviously feels as much damage as any other creature when hit in that areas as it takes 9 points of damage. He follows this up with a mighty swing of his Great Axe which would possibly have decapitated or at least removed the limb of any normal creature. Because of the Gargoyle’s rock like skin it only does 7 points of slashing damage. Holding its groin with one hand, the first Gargoyle is unable to focus on slashing Gotrek and misses. It is however able to sink its teeth into one of Gotrek’s arms for 6 points of piercing damage.
