OoC: Thanks!
Remembering her original assignment, Keyleth scoops up the packages of herbs and medicines while the group is discussing which way to go next.
Hearing no particular opinions, she says, "Why don't you all hang tight for a minute while I go scout out whatever's to the west." She attempts to sneak through the door at the end of the western corridor and scope out whatever's behind it.
It is an airy chamber, more so than most due to the open hole in the ceiling, this room once had an upper level that has long since crumbled away leaving only seven tall pillars standing. Sunlight pours through the hole, dust motes dancing, but heavy drapes cover the lofty windows keep- ing the illumination low. Hanging from a hook on the farthest pillar an ornate key catches the light. The room seems lived in, with discarded food waste peppering the foor, but there are no signs of habitation until you look up and see cluttered alcoves high up in the walls. Yellow eyes glint suspiciously from inside them.
Keyleth, keeping her attention upward toward the yellow eyes, slips to her left hugging the wall and avoiding the light as best she can, and tries to retrieve the key from the far pillar.

OoC: Actually, hang on... if it's not too late...
As she gets within reach of the key, Keyleth takes a closer look at the key and the hook it hangs on before grabbing it, trying to look for any hidden threads or mechanisms that might indicate the presence of a trap.
As Keyleth approaches the pillar that the key hangs on she realizes that the key hangs on a hook about 15 feet in the air and she cannot reach it. Her study of the pillar does not reveal any traps but she does see that the carvings on the pillars could be enough for someone to climb the pillar and reach the key.
As she examines the situation she can hear the rustle of movement in the alcoves above her.

Hearing the rustling sound, she slips around to the back side of the pillar so she is between the pillar and the wall, and attempts to hide (Stealth: 22). Then (if she has time before something else happens), she casts minor illusion to create the sound of her own voice originating 30 ft to the east of where she is standing, saying, "Guys! There's something here! Bring weapons!"
As the other's move into the room they see Keyleth at the far side of the room in front of the last column in the center of the room. You see a key hanging about 15 feet up on the column. From above you also see the shimmer of eyes watching you from alcoves that surround the room about 20 feet in the air.
OoC: Keyleth is attempting to hide behind the column, so they wouldn't see her when they enter. But if the creatures aren't reacting, it might not matter.
Kirinar moves in a step behind Faen, his shield out and morningstar drawn. Seeing the balconies and eyes above, he lets out a soft curse and looks for stairs leading up...

Keyleth is hiding so the other PCs don't see her when they come in.

OOC: Keyleth: I added those items, yes the vial of acid is the same. Yes, they just need the medicinal contents.
Ransyl, the good luck stone requires attunement to use

OoC: Does it look like the creatures up above have noticed her, as far as she can tell looking at their eyes?

It does not appear that they have noticed you.

Faen jumps to alert and, casting a worried glance towards Kirniar and Ransyl, takes off weapon drawn, first peering inside the door.

Ransyl tightens his grip on his greataxe and heads toward the door.
Kirinar heads in as well. Feeling protective of the young elven druid, he stays close to Faen.

Love God. Love Others. Any Questions?
Kirinar looks around for stairs but does not see any.
Keyleth is hiding so the other PCs don't see her when they come in.
