Rova suddenly hears the giant's voice speak out and given her focus on the lock, she has no time to look back and see what the giant is actually saying.
Persistent to get this lock open and see what's inside, Rova turns to her companions and says, "There's a safe behind the desk, I can't get it open. I think one of you should give it a try."She shrugs, stepping aside.
"Hey hey! Leave Arthur's stuff alone! We're not here to steal his stuff! Did you forget? Milk! Cheese! Seeds!" Dangar cannot believe the gall of his companion.

"Well Goggles mentioned looking for Arthur's will! A hidden safe seemed like a place for it, I wasn't going to steal anything out of the house if we didn't need it," Rova said with a frown. She would have no use for stolen things.
Moving away from the desk, she looks around for anything else that strikes her as odd or seems out of place. (Perception: 12)
(Sorry for the lack of posting, I’ve been dealing with a family emergency)
Corrin spotted the open glass door and wandered into the greenhouse. She slowly took a look around, wondering if she could find anything interesting or anything that seemed out of place.
Goggles explains to the giant that they’re not looking to disturb any of Arthur’s belongings, just see if they can find any documents like his will that the lawmen will require at one point or another. He swears an oath that he won’t take anything from him that isn’t required, quite an impressive feat for a kleptomaniac rogue like him. If she consents to him opening the safe, he wiggles his thieves tools into the lock and hopefully cracks the safe with a satisfying click.
Lucy finds a legible passage scribbled in a book recording Arthur’s magical experiments. “Many wondrous results!” the note reads. “But even without my experiments, the family farm has always been more fertile and the livestock healthier than those of our neighbors. Could there be some other factor I haven’t considered?” There are several other books around as well:
On a small table lies an album with “Holrow” written across the front in Common; this is the Holrow family scrapbook. The scrapbook recounts the achievements of Arthur’s siblings, including the following:
Benedict Holrow moved to Waterdeep and has become a controversial politician due to his stance that the Lords of Waterdeep should be unmasked. He claims it is a citizen’s right to elect and identify their lawmakers.
Christine Holrow travels the Sword Coast, performing as a singer-songwriter. She seldom lingers in one place for long. A fan group called Chrissy’s Clan travels from town to town hoping to cross her path and bask in her music, which is said to soothe all troubles.
Dabney Holrow became an apothecary up north. He sells potions and tinctures and recently cured a prominent member of the Council of Sparkling Stones in Mirabar of an unidentifiable disease.
Dangar doesn't see or smell any cheese in the area, but it could be because there's so much else going on. However, they do notice that the crate in the corner seems to be a mite out of place perhaps.
(No worries Corrin!) As Corrin enters the greenhouse it is hot and very humid. 10 foot ceilings enclose a variety of plants arranged around small winding paths. They do hear some childlike chatter coming from the south end of the room though.
Corrin fans herself, trying to bat the sudden rush of heat away from her. She cranes her neck all the way around, trying to get a good appreciative look at all the plants surrounding her before heading towards the sounds of chatter, moving slowly, as to not frighten anyone who might be back there, and cautiously, in case it was something that could potentially harm her.
If Goggles is trying to be stealthy about it make a stealth check because the giant is watching them and has already issued a warning about taking Arthur's things.

She cranes her neck all the way around, trying to get a good appreciative look at all the plants surrounding her before heading towards the sounds of chatter, moving slowly, as to not frighten anyone who might be back there, and cautiously, in case it was something that could potentially harm her.
Down a short ways, playing in a large pile of dirt, is another giant toddler, who happens to glimpse Corrin and babbles, "Manji!" and throws some dirty around.
“Oh, hello.” Corrin smiled at the giant toddler. “Are you having fun playing?” She asked, even though she was certain they could not understand her.
“Oh!” She exclaimed, suddenly remembering the bag of treats she took from Lucy earlier. She pulled them out of her bag and held them outward, “Would you like a snack?” Food is the universal language, after all.
Dangar casts Thorn Whip at Goggles to drag him away from the safe.
Attack: 23 Damage: 5
Goggles flinches slightly as the whip of thorns wraps round his wrist and pulls him away from the safe. He grits his teeth as tiny droplets of blood appear; if they were to get ambushed, having a teammate wounded would give them the tactical edge they’d need. He clears his throat and decides it’s best to reason with the giantess; even though he’s confident he could slip his way into the safe without her seeing, he wants to keep things diplomatic. He says ‘Look, as I said before, I swear an oath that I won’t steal anything. All I’m doing is checking the safe for a will or any legal documentation. If there’s nothing of that sort in there, I’ll close the safe and leave it. And here’s the truth; at some point, lawmen will come and search the house for the exact same thing I’m looking for, the safe will be opened and they’ll find Arthur dead and you living here. I’m going to be honest, that won’t look good in your favour, so who do you trust more with opening that safe, me or them?’
Persuasion: 15
He then shoots a slightly annoyed glare at Dangar and says ‘As I said, I wasn’t trying to steal any of Arthur’s stuff, just look for things that will help keep this giant and her kids safe. Let me deal with this and you can stick to looking for that cheese. Speaking of, did you find anything?’
Persuasion again since it acted up (really, really hope I roll well since I’m being honest here and just want to find the will, if I fail I’ll be so annoyed lmao, especially since I put my proficiency and expertise into Deception. Maybe I should actually want to look for treasure lol, though that would go against Goggle’s character. Anyway): 14
Watching a string of thorns shoot out towards Goggles as he tried to open up the safe, Rova moved away from there, her fascination about the safe short-lived. If there was something they needed, Goggles would find it.
She looks around for anything that can be opened (drawers, boxes, trunks) and if there is nothing of interest, Rova goes over to the open door that leads to the greenhouse. (Perception: 15)
The giant toddler squeals at Corrin at the food offering and throws some dirt at them before babbling and giggling again. "Manji! Manji!"
The giant issues her warning again but doesn't get up yet to stop Goggles. The safe isn't particularly difficult to open, and inside is mostly just treasure pieces belonging to Arthur: three solid gold goblets worth 75 gp each, a small silver shield worth 50 gp, and a gold statue of an elephant worth 250 gp, 500 gp and ten gems worth 100 gp each. Squeezed against the side is a book as well entitled "Cheesemonger's Almanac".
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Goggles raises an eyebrow; scanning across the contents of the box, he values the total at thousands of GP, but restrains himself, his twitching fingers held above his head to show he’s not taken anything. The only thing he removes, clearly and carefully, is the Cheesmonger’s Almanac. He announces to the party and giant ‘There’s no sign of a will, only a lot of valuables that I have not touched,’ he says, shooting a glare at Dangar. He continues with ‘The only thing I’ve removed is this book on cheese, which may have some notes or clues on where Arthur kept our final ingredient. I’ll give it a read through, and if I don’t find anything, I’ll return it straight away, and if I do find something, I’ll only keep the book on my person for as long as necessary before returning it’ He then seats himself near the giant so he can keep an eye on him and leafs through the pages, seeing if anything stands out to him. Perception: 17 (he also has a passive perception of 23 so will probably pick up on any subliminal details)
The Almanac isn't hard to read or figure out, thankfully.
The almanac is in Arthur’s handwriting and contains a record of the weather over the last two years, a chart with the results of Arthur’s experiments, and his notes.
Seasonal Weather Log
I’ve observed that seasonal weather conditions greatly affect the cheese aging process. Recording the weather each season is a key part of these experiments to understand how and why our Holrow cheese is unusual.
Summer. Dry heat makes for hard work out in the fields. Makes one wish he didn’t have to work alone.
Fall. Snowfall came early and often. A nice blanket of snow every few days that melted quickly but kept the ground from hardening.
Winter. Beautiful snow caps on Illefarn. Wish Mom and Dad were here to see it.
Spring. Unusually warm spring. The thaw came fast. The rivers are full.
Summer. Very hot summer but not too dry thanks to the spring rains.
Fall. Crisp and cool. Excellent cheese weather. Too bad the mice got in. Had to cover my samples until hibernation.
Winter. Great heaps of snow but a warmer ground made it melt fast. Slushy conditions were good for puddle jumping.
Spring. Finally, nice, dry, and warm.
Guide to Cheese Conditioning
It is important to rotate samples to the next shelf space every season to keep track of their age. Each season, I make a control sample from ordinary curds, an experimental sample not safe for consumption until further tests are conducted, and a salable sample from curds perfectly enhanced for peak flavor. To identify the effects of a season’s conditions on each kind of sample, refer to the Cheese Sample Observations chart.

Dangar pauses with his hands on his hips. There is supposed to be cheese here.
It's not outside.
It's not in the barn.
So it must be in here. But he isn't seeing any. So it must be invisible!
"Cheeeeese! Cheeessse!" He begins to meticulously sniff the room from one end to the other to see if he can find the invisible cheese.
