This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Thankfully, thanks to sheer dumb luck, the book's vicious attack hideously missed his form. (If I read correctly?) With a grunt, he covers his ears at the sound of a loud gong, digging into his pocket for a tiny gadget. A strange looking cube with funny faces painted on every side. which hums with magical energy. Pressing the button, a bright flash of colored light escapes it. "Heavens! Warn me ahead of time!" Flicking a gloved finger forwards, he sends the doll ahead with its saw at the ready to slice. "Company march!" Shouting like a drill sergeant.
(( Adelbrecht uses his action to cast faerie fire in the area, forcing every creature in a 20 foot cube to make a Dex Save. and his bonus action to command his puppets. Puppet A, the puppet by Belgama, is commanded to move back to Adelbrecht. Puppet B, the puppet by Adelbrecht, is commanded to move and make a Puppet Attackaction against Entity D.

We find ourselves on the third floor of the University Library where our plane shifted crew and a gnome are engaged with a Kettle of gingwatzim are frenetically attacking while a cluster of patrons lay about in slumber thanks to Hashi.
Belgama and Archibald are near the curved book laden wall. Gemini is midway between the stairwell and Belgama, Yesphira and Hashi are at the edge of the stairwell with Hashi just a bit behind Yesphira.
Entity A & B after Belgama to hit 12 dmg 6 slashing & 18 necrotic and to hit 8 dmg 5 slashing & 15 necrotic
Entity C after Gemini to hit 5 dmg 7 slashing & 23 necrotic
Entity D after Adelbrecht to hit 7 dmg 8 slashing & 18 necrotic
Entity E attacks Yesphira to hit 4 dmg 14 slashing & 20 necrotic
Melee Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. The target must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or gain 1 level of exhaustion. When the target finishes a short or long rest, the target loses every level of exhaustion gained from this attack.

Gemini snorts at the sleeping patrons that suddenly glow with faerie fire. They don't know what to think of it other than the fact that it is pretty funny. Gemini's eyes follow the small man-made soldiers with intrigue. "Did you make those?!" they shout over the noise of the battle.
"Ugh!" The changeling recoils at the sight at the gingwatzim trying nip at their feet."Honestly... get a room."
They go down and grab the creature (C), right hand glowing a dark blue. They squeeze the fake-book monster and whisper an incantation. Their nails start to dig into the leather before it (most likely) wiggles away and Gemini straight drops it. They look about to make a quip or something but their mouth stays shut.
((Action: Inflict Wounds on Entity C for 13 DC CON Save for 18 necrotic damage on a failed save or 9 damage on a success.))

you can edit threads by hovering over the "tools" option and clicking "edit thread"
there you can click on the tags and take out or open as many as you want
