Psalm, not even wincing at the fireball exposition, will playfully skip towards the kobold mage and casually jab a dagger in his back as he makes his way past before hiding around the corner...
Zylborin started to step out to the left, but was beaten by Sam who conflagrated nearly the entire room.
"Oh! This changes things"
Moving left 10ft so he can see the Minotaur, Zylborin pulls out some small confectionary tarts and a feather, throws the tarts up in the air and waves the feather and casts Hideous Laughter at the Minotaur (WIS Save DC 16)
"What's a Minotaur's favorite instrument in an orchestra? The Horns!"
Zylborin will then Bonus Action: Give a Bardic Inspiration to Sampson.
🎶"Child of light, child of might --- Shines so bright, Handy in a fight!" 🎵
And then use the rest of his movement to go back to his little hidey-hole.
// OOC: Dain still has a Bardic Inspiration and Sampson has one too.
As Psalm makes his strike there's a sudden realization. "That's not Darz!" he shouts before falling to the ground.
The Minotaur seems to groan at Zylborin's terrible pun at first. But through his hardened look a smile begins to force itself. Cursing as he laughs he falls prone to the ground.

Everything seemed a bit darker, and a bit fuzzy, and the darkness seemed to encroach closer. Even sound seemed muffled on the Ethereal Plane. But from his vantage point near the ceiling, Finn could see Zylborin run forward, and cast some spell, before running back.
"Kah me if oo kah!" his words seemed to say. Then more action, as Sam ran forward and out of view, followed by a burst of brightness and a thud that Finn heard more than felt... was that a fireball???... before Zyl ran forward and back again.
Then...
With a barely-noticeable jolt, the pirate was back in the physical realm! Without missing a beat, he flew around the corner to see a kobold attacking Sam... and a minotaur apparently fighting off the last magical motes of a spell? That would explain it falling to the ground in laughter!
"Guy with the fire sword first!" he thought as he focused his concentration on the tall kobald and swung his oversized blade. The pact weapon seemed unnaturally light for the small warlock to be wielding it with such precision. Indeed, to him it was nearly weightless, giving him the speed to deliver a quick, harsh blow, and to then spin in mid-air to deliver a possible follow-up. Finally, feeling the tug of his earlier spell, he turned to face the minotaur with a devilish grin and a wink before vanishing yet again.
MOVE: Around the corner to be diagonal from the tall kobold, 10' from Sam BONUS: Move his Hex focus to the kobold for extra damage and a Strength debuff ACTION: Attack the kobold twice (numbers from character sheet rolls) * Oversized Blade Swing #1 - Attack: 26, Damage: 14 + 3 Magical Piercing Slashing * Oversized Blade Swing #2 - Attack: 12, Damage: 17 + 3 Magical Piercing Slashing EXTRA: Finn's Blink roll was a 12, pulling him back into the Ethereal Plane again
Finn's greatsword is able to strike at the tall kobold, feeling it one swoop.
[[ I believe you have enough movement that he'd be able to have gotten in range to make an attack against with the Minotaur if you wish. Advantage due to prone. ]]

Self-note:
If Finn does attack the minotaur and the second roll via advantage hits, remember to roll the WIS save from damage-from-attack to see if the Minotaur was able to act prior.
Dain charges out from around the corner, a battlecry starting to leave his lips when he sees the initial burst killed almost everything. He stops, side-eyes the group, then shrugs and rushes the minotaur, intent on victimizing it while it is still prone.
Two Attacks with Advantage:
1: 18 for 15 Slashing Damage
2: 27 for 14 Slashing Damage
(I know I said I planned to rage in my saves, but well, it'd be a waste after such a strong opening)

(( Thanks; it's tempting, but I left him alone just to keep him from getting a saving throw before the end of his turn. ))
(Sampson would have wanted to use warding flare if he was going to be targeted by an attack. I know the RAW is really hard for warding flare on a play by post, but I am willing to follow whatever rules you want to set for it. I know in other games I have played, the DM allowed it to be called upon after the attack was made, but I respect your table rules.)
(Also, thank you for the bonus action spell rule reminder. Too much Baldur’s gate and too few spell casters at tables haha.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
[[ I'm fine with the warding flare use here. In general I'll try to be lenient with reactions since, like you mentioned, they can get a little janky on PBP.
Rolling a second die for the Tall Kobold's attack: 17 //First roll was a 22 for 10 slash 5 fire
And thinking about, from a practicality perspective, if I were running a monster like a noble that has a parry reaction or a caster with shield I'd be running their decisions with knowledge of rolls, so there's also that element of "turnabout is fair play" that has me leaning with you guys having the same kind of analysis open. ]]

(Thank you for the clarification and confirmation! I’ll make sure one of my warding flare uses are expended and I’ll add the hit points back!)
Sampson barely manages to invoke a flash of light, causing the Tall Kobold to miss its attacks! Knowing the opening won’t last for long, he chants in Sylvan, causing green light to wash over his quaterstaff! He then swipes it towards the kobold!
(Oh, I totally forgot that the tall kobold was already dead! I am at my computer now, so I can see messages much easier haha. Sam probably would have walked over to smack the minotaur, so I will make another attack roll to compensate for the advantage.)
Working together, Dain and Sampson are able to wail on the minotaur. It grunts in pain as the axe and quarterstaff pound into it, each attack hitting, looking a lot worse for wear. As of yet, it seems nothing has come of the Kobold that was sent away to rally others.

The world returned to visual clarity as Finn reappeared. Seeing Sam and Dain wailing on the fallen minotaur in the passageway to the next chamber, the warlock peered just beyond, then spoke a word of magic: "Ibi."
Two simultaneous bursts of silvery mist immediately appeared... one at the warlock's former location, and the second at his new location, in the next chamber... right behind the minotaur.
"Miss me?" he quipped as he rotated his wrist to spin his sword into position. Gripping it with both hands, he then brought down a hacking slash onto the creature, followed up by a twist of the blade for an upward slash. "Sorry I won't be able to say the same," he finished, brazenly confident he'd ended his foe.
He didn't feel the tug from his sporadic spell this time; instead, Finn floated down to just a couple feet above the ground and looked around, ready to defend himself from any other attackers.
