Finn cursed like the sailor he was for a few seconds, mainly out of irritation. "Figures I can't read most of this," he finally said, though he still scrutinized the library as if determined to find value in it somewhere. "I can tell some of these are written in Elvish, which means they're still valuable, but I'm not even sure what this other language is." He looked at the corpses, then back to the shelves. "Draconic, maybe? Not sure how those would sell on the market. At least there are some pictures to clue us in as to what some of them are about.
Hmm. In case any of you want to add to your collection: looks like some volumes about potions, a pretty obvious beastiary, maybe a journal of all the half-dragons in here? Ooh!"
He spotted the atlas and flipped through it, his eyes lighting up. "Now, this... this is something interesting! Even if it's not all seaways, maps are always handy; plus, I don't think I even recognize some of these places." He smiled as he snapped the book closed. "Claimed!" he said jovially, as he walked back towards the others and joined them in sitting for a bit.
(OoC, how are we doing? I’m low on both health and resources, so I wouldn’t be opposed to figuring out how to get a long rest in. Maybe holing up here, maybe backtracking some?)
As Zylborin looks over the books he finds ones titled, Draconic Dominion: The Forbidden Alchemy, Venomous Veils: Secrets of the Spider, and Stonebound Kings: Chronicling Dwarven Cities.
With a cursory glance the first book appears to be a polished up diary of sorts detailing attempts at creating half-dragons. The second appears to be a book about poisons. And the third a general history book of various Dwarven cities.
Psalm holds out his jerky and studies it for a while, "I mean... I think they're pretty handy when you're far from town. They don't exactly satisfy, you know, but they keep you going."
Off Zylborin's incredulous look, Psalm cocks a confused eyebrow, looks at the books and says, "Oh. Those..."
The tiefling shrugs."Me? I'm a simple fella. Stabby stabby. Steal the loot. Have a few laughs in between. What magic I have, I mostly use for fun." He indicates toward those books. "Chaining people up and turning 'em into dragons seems decidedly not fun."He looks up at the dragonborn's face and quickly adds. "No, you know... Offense or anything."

Dain will take to rearranging the furniture (and closing doors if they exist) to try and wall off the room from anybody else, figuring it’s as good a place as any to work on that rest.
Dain doesn't find a door to close. (It's open between the silk-walls. Though could have a bit of arch if you're trying to also hang things.)
Would he want to be moving shelves from the work area? The private bedroom? Using any of the chairs? (Want to make sure I've also got a right visual on where to move stuff on the map.)
Also, First Watch: Finn Second Watch: ??? Third Watch: ??? Fourth Watch: Dain
The bookshelves are probably the best for placing in front of a doorway. And I assume the bedroom's the most easily defensible position, but that's just me.
As Finn takes first watch, he hears a group coming from the West where the party was before. He can hear some voices that sound authoritative spoken in Draconic with softer voices, sounding like goblins, being spoken in Common. Though not every word is audible, he gets the general idea that they're doing a search through halls after seeing the bodies from before.
Finn quietly rushed towards the others, waking them each in turn with a gentle shake. He didn't say a word, instead putting his finger to his lips as they looked at him, while he pointed towards the West, where the voices could be heard coming from.
Once everyone was up, the bard quickly conjured an illusory bookshelf to hide within as he waited for the searchers.

Zylborin grabs the book on poisons and wanders over to Psalm, "I'd gladly take some jerky, thank you."
He quickly flips through the pages, seeing if there's any instructions or recipes, talking to Psalm whenever he finds anything interesting.
"Do think these could be of use?" He asks the Tiefling.
Psalm holds out his jerky and studies it for a while, "I mean... I think they're pretty handy when you're far from town. They don't exactly satisfy, you know, but they keep you going."

Noticing Dain's action, Finn moved to help out and then asked, "So, what's the watch order going to be? I'll take first, if no one cares."
