Lira takes a cautious look around. The room and the items in the room are in excellent condition. The rooms seems to have been spared by natures elements that had been so cruel to some of the initial rooms.
She sees no traps and much of the accessories that may have been in the room have likely been removed. However, she does see a hair brush and comb neatly arranged by the large sink. (west side of the room). A large decorative mirror is on the wall behind the sink. The sink rests on a fancy wooden cabinet.Lira also notes on quick inspection that as of right now, she sees no other doors in the room.
For Twiggy
At first, Twiggy feels nothing. Then she has a sense of dizziness and her nose seems to numb. Then, she vividly imagines a scene in this room. Perhaps 20 beautiful women in various states of dress, lounging about, relaxing in the pools, talking among themselves as they relax on the pillows. Various skilled musicians play ancient instruments to further enhance the mood. (Roll a d6).
Lira curiously approaches the sink to the west, staring at herself in the mirror for a few moments. She does look a bit like an ice witch now. Sighing, she will look inside the fancy cabinet, lock picking it if necessary.
The brush and comb are interesting. they appear to be relics of a time gone by. The comb teeth are made of ivory, or fish bone. Both items have silver handles, likely worth a pretty penny. You don’t see anything below in the cabinet.
Lira
As Lira admires herself in the mirror and notes the slight change to some of her hair (now some white strands), she sees an image for a brief moment. then it is gone.
"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Lira stiffens in shock as the image of a little ghost girl flashes in the mirror for a moment, stepping back. The brush and comb are beautiful, but remind her of the last time she tried to steal and ended up with the cursed amulet.
After helping identify the two items, Vydar takes a good moment to rest a bit while the others decide who gets to keep what.
He is quite slow to drag himself back to his feet, but that’s understandable given he’d taken quite a bit of damage earlier. Once he does get up, he follows the others into the overly dance latrine. He briefly looks at the walls before trying to ignore the paintings. Ugh, that just shows more of the previous owners personality.
He notices Lira staring at her reflection with a look of shock on her face. “Is something wrong Lira?” His voice is blunt but there is concern on his face.
Iólinder peaked into the room. A bathroom with toilets and hot tubs was not the first guess he would have had upon the door opening but is was what it was. It was elaborately fancy. A bit too fancy for his tastes but he had grown up with bathrooms being used just to wash after an extensive day of training and learning and nothing else. The hot tubs especially were a novel idea. The sweat lodge back at the village he could understand: sweating things out was a concept he could get behind. But who would want to soak in the same water for an extented period of time? Weird is what it was.
He noticed Vydar noticing Lira staring at her reflection in a mirror. As Vydar asked what was wrong for Lira to look that shocked, Iólinder listened along with a look of slight concern on his face.
Lira seems to snap out of her startled state when Vydar speaks up. "Oh, that little girl ghost appeared in the mirror for a second. I know we were told about her ahead of time, but it still gets to me. I guess she wants us to do something in here now...Normally a nice bath would be tempting, but not after that water creature earlier."
Lev follows the group, opting to stay in the hallway to monitor who is where and attempting to keep at least the majority of the group in sight while also keeping an eye out for danger or anything useful.
Perception: 14
When Lira and Vydar start talking about the ghost, he steps closer to the room they are in and asks, "She wants something from us? Does it seem sinister to you?" His voice holds little concern either way, as if the prospect of actually seeing a ghost is either far from mind or unimpressive.
He eyes the hairbrush and comb, and then the mirror. Unsure what the child ghost could want them to do, and unsure whether or not this phantom is something they should be trying to aid or end.
Vydar glances at the mirror then back at Lira. "Hmm, Looking in a mirror and seeing someone else's face would scare anyone i think. Even if you are somewhat expecting it." He then glances around, grimacing again at how the bathroom looks. He'll never understand why nobility likes this kind of stuff...oh wait, it's to rub their wealth in people's face and constantly remind themselves why they think their better than everyone.
"I don't think I'd want to bathe anywhere near here." He replies to her next statement. "Even without the ghost and that water...thing."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zarbyn will look at everything and everyone as he enters and moves to the far south end to examine the marble fountain.
He will sniff at the water and just take a small taste of the water to see if it is old or fresh, ready to spit it out depending on how it tastes.
Investigation: 13
"If we can't figure out what the ghost wants they may try to contact us or give us more clues along the way. Maybe they're trying to warn us of something ahead?"
Twiggy flies up to the chandelier to get a place she can perch and observe everything going on below.
"Do you think anyone could still be here, other than the ghost that is?"

Lira:
the room appears to be a changing room of sorts. It has a wash basin, a pool to bath in, and an area to hang clothing. Otherwise, it is fairly unremarkable. Then she thinks to herself, why is this room in pristine condition? Something is not right here.
Zarbyn :
As Zarbyn tastes the remarkably clear water, he immediately spits it out. It is rancid and stale to the taste. Completely undrinkable. As he looks back at the fountain, the water within has a greenish hue, with dirt, mold, and slime within and on the borders containing the water.
Amdaeng
For a very brief moment, Amdaeng thinks she hears what sounds like a child laughing. The sound seems to be coming from the West, but is muffled and echoes. When she looks at the others, it does not seem they heard it.
Vydar
As Vydar looks around, something does not seem right. This place seems lively, well cared for, and very clean. It smells good, is bright and cheerful. All of the other rooms in the cache have succumbed to the elements, holding dust, dampness and death.
The dark elf continues looking around the room. “Is it just me or is this place way cleaner than all the other rooms we’ve been in? It’s almost as if someone’s been taking care of it despite the rest of the palace falling to ruin.” He considered the fact that there is a ghost hanging about. Though he kinda doubts a child ghost would want to continuously clean a bathroom. But then again…where there’s one ghost it isn’t a far stretch to think there could be more. Perhaps there is a ghost maid somewhere or something…. He doesn’t like that thought much.
"Same over here," Lira remarks, leaning out of her room with a thoughtful look, "It's pristine. Do you think this could be an illusion?" She isn't particularly well-versed in magic, but can't get over the strangeness of all this.
After some thought, he walks over to one of the sinks and drags a finger against the surface, then looks at his hand. If this is an illusion, it would only be masking whatever grime has collected in the room.

The mirror reflects whomever looks in it. No sign of any ghost.
