Zarbyn tries to help guide the group out of immediate danger and since the crabicore is currently immobilized that becomes the path of least resistance.
Oh his turn Zarbyn will take the Dodge action and then use Steps of the Fey to cast Misty Step and put some distance between the crabicore (and any gang) and himself. He also gains 3 temp hp from choosing Refreshing Step.

Jharek will follow suit and use the tactical retreat option, following his new friends over the pile of bodies and to the nearest escape route. “These beasts are definitely starting to stack up the bodies,” he yells while running. “We should have plenty of privacy anywhere we go at this point!”

16/19, 23/16, 18/ 20 As the group tries to get through the still crowded area, two of the gang members attack with opportunity attacks (Disadvantage)
(so rolls are 16, 16, and 18: attacks players 2, 6 and 5/ which are Lev, Vydar, and Jherak. damage: 4, 7, 8: ) In front of the group are three more gang members who take aim with heavy crossbows: Two miss, but one hits Lira (crit) for 15 piercing damage to
Lev and Vydar are able to evade the hits, but Jherak gets hit for 8 bludgeoning damage from a club attack as the group tries to move past the huge monstrocity and battling thugs.

Zanbar Bone casts a spell at Nicodemus but just as the spell begins, it fizzles (Counterspell). Nicodemus hits him with another damaging spell. The Eel shoots a bolt of lightning at the wizard. (legendary action) The wizard releases a beam of yellow energy with begins to grow and gain strength, floating in between the eel and Bone. It then explodes doing 42 damage to all within its area including the various gang members (most of whom in the area are dead) The eel is able to evade some of the damage but bone takes the full amount. Nico is able to maintain concentration and the crabicore is still being held by (hold monster spell, the crabicore not being the wisest creature, fails a save to break the spell).
Next round. (All can declare actions: Will wait until 9/4 (USA Mountain) to move forward unless all post before)There are 4 thugs near the group (but spirit guardians may finish them off (10hp remaining each). In front of the group are three uninjured thugs of Crimson Legion
The jolt of being hit by the crossbow bolt forces Lira to lose concentration on her spell, freeing the eel from her trap. She shoots a shard of ice at the three crossbowmen angrily and then conjures a ball of flame in her hand.
Action: ice knife to hit 20, damage 5 piercing to middle one, dex DC 15 or 3 cold damage to target and all within 5 feet.
Jherak takes the hits from the gang members and is bloodied and beaten. In response, he dashes toward the attackers, and strikes at the first with his scimitar 15 to hit, 6 damage. If he is missing any hit points he takes an additional 3 damage (Colossus Slayer). Bonus action, strikes at the next attacker, 24 to hit, 8 damage, 5 additional if missing any hp.
Lira's ice hits her target doing 5 damage. The shard of ice explodes on impact, hitting two of the three men (3 cold damage). The first takes an additional 3 cold damage as does the one to his left. Jherak hits the foe near him for 9 damage, killing him. (Already damaged from Spirit Guardians). Then he hits the second for 13 falling her in one mighty blow. The thugs surrounding the magically restrained Crabicore beating at its hard shell with daggers, maces, hooks, and various other weapons.
Zarbyn moves up to the remaining men and makes two attacks with Shadow Blade.
Attack 1: 21 to hit. Damage: 15 psychic damage.
Attack 2: 28 (crit) to hit. Damage: 30 psychic damage.
He yells at any gang members who tarry behind, "Stay and die or flee and live!"

Zarbyn quickly dispatches the slowed injured thugs. Seeing they are completely outnumbered, the strange magical spirits damaging their companions, and recognizing this is not their fight, the three crossbow wielding thugs turn and flee to the east. (Dash). (Combat over unless you choose to attack or pursue).
Explosions of magic ripple from behind you, as Bone and Nico engage in combat. Nico's magic seems to greatly harm the newly created undead horror. Then, you see a portal open near the ghostly pirate and he disappears. The wizard spits on the ground, then a doorway of sorts appears next to him and he also disappears. The massive crabicore is released from its spell, but seems in very bad shape. The eel launches a bolt of lightning toward the sea and in one motion, its body travels on the bolt as it enters the water. All that is left is carnage of many dead gang members of both sides.
If you head east around the Lobster Inn, you believe you can get out of harms way. To the south of the group is the catfish river. On your left is a row of shanty buildings. Up in the distance, a bridge crosses to the other side of the river. Also, Lira recognizes a tavern near the bridge. (H16) The Dagger Tavern (She knows of it as a place that discretely smuggles things to and from Port Rentarn.)
Lira waits until she is certain the thugs are leaving for good this time, then turns as Nico and Bone teleport away. Seeing that the crab is almost dead, she looks to the others with a sigh.
"Think we can find a pot big enough to boil it?"she murmurs in thought, moving back towards the creature and tossing her flame at it. She then tries to hide behind some bodies.
Action: throw produce flame. To hit 24, damage 15 fire.
Bonus Action: Cunning Action hide, stealth 27

(OOC--- started to use spiritual weapon but decided not because it would force dropping concentration on guardians)

(OOC: Spiritual weapon is not a concentration spell, so it can be used with spells that require concentration).
