Finally figuring out Storms whip, Paevira snaps the leather around the goblin's head, pulls him forward, and the pointy rapier goes through his throat.
Iólinder heard Vydar shouting something at him. He turned his head just in time to see the dark elf take a goblin scimitar and arrow to the chest and fall down, blood pooling out of two fresh wounds. He gritted his teeth and began to move over to the dark elf but before he could reach him, Iólinder saw Vydar stand back up with a resilience he had not expected from a wizard. If anything, he gained a modicum of respect for his companion.
Iólinder took one hand off his crossbow and stretched it out towards Vydar. A quick prayer and hand gesture allowed him to channel divine magic and a shimmering shield emblazed with a golden lion head interposed itself between Vydar and the goblin.
'Get those archers!' He shouted as he hoisted his crossbow with a fresh bolt and fired at the goblin near Vydar
Bonus action: casting Shield of Faith on Vydar Action: shooting crossbow bolt at Goblin 2 - Attack roll: 7 - Damage roll: 7
With the new character sheet, you'd think there would be a check box for concentration but nope. Also crap roll...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zarbyn pops back out from around the cover of the wall and casts another Eldritch Blast at the next nearest goblin.
Attack: 24 Damage: 3 force damage.
"Seems to be going our way right now, only a few remain."

Unfortunately, Zarbyns shot does not quite hit the little goblin.
One goblin takes a shot with his arrow at injured Vydar but misses this time.
The other goblin, seeing 4 dead, turns and runs back into the northwest passage (dash). A moment later, you hear a loud snapping sound, a blood-curdling scream and then silence.
(So one goblin still in combat with bow, the other has fled back into the cavern.)
With Levs sharp bladed weapon, the life leaves the unhappy goblins eyes. combat over. there are five goblins and the feet of a giant sticking out of a caved in tunnel to the south. in the north, a goblin ran out and there was a sickening crack and scream. Then,....silence.
Vydar's witch bolt sputters out as soon as he misses his target. He's having a hard time keeping concentration, especially after a shield appears between him and his attacker. He hears Iolinder shout something at him, but the half-elf's voice sounds muffled due to the fogginess of Vydar's brain. That guy must have put this shield up. Suddenly, Amdaeng appears over him, swiftly ending the goblin. He grits his teeth pushing himself off the ground and onto his feet just in time to see Zarbyn and Lev take out the remaining goblins.
He hears the crunch and scream...for some reason those sound far louder than Iolinder's voice. He winces, then growls quietly. His head is pounding, and he feels dizzy from the blood he's lost. Half an arrow still sticks out of his shoulder. He leaves it there, there's no time to bandage the wound and removing it would only make him bleed more. He grips his side where the goblin had slashed him, blood continues to ooze from it slowly. Even with the fogginess of his mind, he knows he can't take much more before he's knocked out...maybe permanently. He sets his jaw, that goblin either ran into a trap, or there's a far worse foe farther down the tunnel.
With that in mind, he pulls Storm's hat from his satchel and hesitantly places it on his head. He does not make eye contact with anyone as the thing probably makes him look ridiculous. "Alright lets keep going."He says through clenched teeth as he starts moving towards where he heard the scream, still clutching his injured side. He's clearly trying not to look as hurt as he is.
Before trying to activate the hat, he looks down the tunnel towards where the goblin surly died, trying to get an idea of what lays ahead.
Peaking in the next cavern, like the one you are in it also has a few torches lighting it. It is strangely quiet. There appears to be a passage continuing west and something catches your eye in the torchlight. It's something metal and shiny in the ground just out of direct sight until you get closer. Nothing moves in the room. It seems you are "safe" for now.
It appears the giant triggered some sort of cave in. It was killed by the falling rocks. If there was a passage here, it would be impossible to clear it in any reasonable time, and would likely trigger further risk of cave ins.
Between the 5 goblins, you collect 20 arrows, 50 copper pieces, and one potion of healing. (There is also some poorly made leather armor, shields, etc.). The giant has a large ring on his middle toe, that could have some value.
(OOC: Possibly could do a short rest (heal) or continue?)
Amdaeng indicates those that need to rest should do so as she stands watch over the entrance to the next cavern, " Can someone reach that shiny thing with a magic hand? I saw street mages do it at festivals and you all seem far more capable."
She is in fact certain that she has seen one of the group use that spell before but she can't currently recall who.
She looks down at the dead goblin, there are few goblins in Fang though she has met a number of Garks in her bouts, and a mixed group of Bays and Gremlins acted as a second storey crew for a while before they were eaten by a magistrates pet Manticore........and there had always been rumours of Sewer Goblins stealing children though she never saw one. She had no problems with the Children of Hashak.....but these ones had killed a potential friend and tried to kill them so she didn't exactly feel bad for killing this one.
Under Amdaeng's urging Zarbyn casts Mage Hand and uses it to examine the shiny thing from 30 feet away.
"It wouldn't hurt to regroup and go ahead as close to full strength as we can. We're between them and the exit so we'll see attempt to leave. How many among us could use a rest?"

Iólinder frowned. He did not like that the goblin ran away. What was even concerning was that the gobin ran away, followed by a loud snapping sound, a scream, and then silence. Something lurked out there in the darkness. An unknown factor. And unknown meant dangerous.
But that would have to wait. While he had no doubt the others were rearing to go, Iólinder's clerical training kicked in. He spotted a vial with a familiar red liquid on one of the goblins they just fought. He strode over, snatched it up and handed it to Vydar.
'This should get you patched up.' He said. 'A bit crude but it gets the job done. I've got some stronger stuff too, in case you need it.'
He then turned his attention to Zarbyn. 'You want to take a break? Here? Right after that snapping sound and scream from the darkness?' Iólinder thought it was reckless.
Moving a bit closer, you see a massive claw trap. It has been sprung, and in its sharp embrace is a dead black bear. Just after it is a second sharp claw, and the dead archer goblin lies in its clutches, his body twisted in a manner that leads you to believe it broke his back.
Iólinder and Amdaeng did note that the leather armor bore an insignia. After searching the next cavern, it may be worth returning to study this further. (Amdaeng Iólinder can roll one of these: investigation, religion, arcana?)
Zarbyn: Perception roll, chance improves if you get closer to the sprung trap)
(For the next 10 minutes, Iólinder can keep concentration up and keep the shield of faith on Vydar.)
Paevira will look to finish off goblin 6
whip 16 atk and 6 dmg
Rapier 25 atk and another 6 dmg to the little brute
Finally figuring out Storms whip, Paevira snaps the leather around the goblin's head, pulls him forward, and the pointy rapier goes through his throat.

Goblins 4 and 5 have short bows out, goblin2 is attacking Vydar. (3 goblins are dead).

----->Lev, Paevira
Lev's frown deepens as one of the goblins runs off. The sound that followed its departure was not reassuring.
At least Vydar was back on his feet.
He gives Zarbyn a side-eye before rushing towards the last goblin. "For now," he grunts. Things are going well, for now.
He thrusts with his glaive, moving around the goblin to cut off its retreat.
